anything?

Quote
   Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore,
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,
As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
`'Tis some visitor,' I muttered, `tapping at my chamber door -
Only this, and nothing more.'

Ah, distinctly I remember it was in the bleak December,
And each separate dying ember wrought its ghost upon the floor.
Eagerly I wished the morrow; - vainly I had sought to borrow
From my books surcease of sorrow - sorrow for the lost Lenore -
For the rare and radiant maiden whom the angels name Lenore -
Nameless here for evermore.

And the silken sad uncertain rustling of each purple curtain
Thrilled me - filled me with fantastic terrors never felt before;
So that now, to still the beating of my heart, I stood repeating
`'Tis some visitor entreating entrance at my chamber door -
Some late visitor entreating entrance at my chamber door; -
This it is, and nothing more,'

Presently my soul grew stronger; hesitating then no longer,
`Sir,' said I, `or Madam, truly your forgiveness I implore;
But the fact is I was napping, and so gently you came rapping,
And so faintly you came tapping, tapping at my chamber door,
That I scarce was sure I heard you' - here I opened wide the door; -
Darkness there, and nothing more.

Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing,
Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;
But the silence was unbroken, and the darkness gave no token,
And the only word there spoken was the whispered word, `Lenore!'
This I whispered, and an echo murmured back the word, `Lenore!'
Merely this and nothing more.

Back into the chamber turning, all my soul within me burning,
Soon again I heard a tapping somewhat louder than before.
`Surely,' said I, `surely that is something at my window lattice;
Let me see then, what thereat is, and this mystery explore -
Let my heart be still a moment and this mystery explore; -
'Tis the wind and nothing more!'

Open here I flung the shutter, when, with many a flirt and flutter,
In there stepped a stately raven of the saintly days of yore.
Not the least obeisance made he; not a minute stopped or stayed he;
But, with mien of lord or lady, perched above my chamber door -
Perched upon a bust of Pallas just above my chamber door -
Perched, and sat, and nothing more.

Then this ebony bird beguiling my sad fancy into smiling,
By the grave and stern decorum of the countenance it wore,
`Though thy crest be shorn and shaven, thou,' I said, `art sure no craven.
Ghastly grim and ancient raven wandering from the nightly shore -
Tell me what thy lordly name is on the Night's Plutonian shore!'
Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.'

Much I marvelled this ungainly fowl to hear discourse so plainly,
Though its answer little meaning - little relevancy bore;
For we cannot help agreeing that no living human being
Ever yet was blessed with seeing bird above his chamber door -
Bird or beast above the sculptured bust above his chamber door,
With such name as `Nevermore.'

But the raven, sitting lonely on the placid bust, spoke only,
That one word, as if his soul in that one word he did outpour.
Nothing further then he uttered - not a feather then he fluttered -
Till I scarcely more than muttered `Other friends have flown before -
On the morrow he will leave me, as my hopes have flown before.'
Then the bird said, `Nevermore.'

Startled at the stillness broken by reply so aptly spoken,
`Doubtless,' said I, `what it utters is its only stock and store,
Caught from some unhappy master whom unmerciful disaster
Followed fast and followed faster till his songs one burden bore -
Till the dirges of his hope that melancholy burden bore
Of "Never-nevermore."'

But the raven still beguiling all my sad soul into smiling,
Straight I wheeled a cushioned seat in front of bird and bust and door;
Then, upon the velvet sinking, I betook myself to linking
Fancy unto fancy, thinking what this ominous bird of yore -
What this grim, ungainly, ghastly, gaunt, and ominous bird of yore
Meant in croaking `Nevermore.'

This I sat engaged in guessing, but no syllable expressing
To the fowl whose fiery eyes now burned into my bosom's core;
This and more I sat divining, with my head at ease reclining
On the cushion's velvet lining that the lamp-light gloated o'er,
But whose velvet violet lining with the lamp-light gloating o'er,
She shall press, ah, nevermore!

Then, methought, the air grew denser, perfumed from an unseen censer
Swung by Seraphim whose foot-falls tinkled on the tufted floor.
`Wretch,' I cried, `thy God hath lent thee - by these angels he has sent thee
Respite - respite and nepenthe from thy memories of Lenore!
Quaff, oh quaff this kind nepenthe, and forget this lost Lenore!'
Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.'

`Prophet!' said I, `thing of evil! - prophet still, if bird or devil! -
Whether tempter sent, or whether tempest tossed thee here ashore,
Desolate yet all undaunted, on this desert land enchanted -
On this home by horror haunted - tell me truly, I implore -
Is there - is there balm in Gilead? - tell me - tell me, I implore!'
Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.'

`Prophet!' said I, `thing of evil! - prophet still, if bird or devil!
By that Heaven that bends above us - by that God we both adore -
Tell this soul with sorrow laden if, within the distant Aidenn,
It shall clasp a sainted maiden whom the angels name Lenore -
Clasp a rare and radiant maiden, whom the angels name Lenore?'
Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.'

`Be that word our sign of parting, bird or fiend!' I shrieked upstarting -
`Get thee back into the tempest and the Night's Plutonian shore!
Leave no black plume as a token of that lie thy soul hath spoken!
Leave my loneliness unbroken! - quit the bust above my door!
Take thy beak from out my heart, and take thy form from off my door!'
Quoth the raven, `Nevermore.'

And the raven, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting
On the pallid bust of Pallas just above my chamber door;
And his eyes have all the seeming of a demon's that is dreaming,
And the lamp-light o'er him streaming throws his shadow on the floor;
And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor
Shall be lifted - nevermore!

Who does remember Singularity? I think it used the same multi algo method, but it failed. Let's talk about its faults, to avoid them here.

??

What about Myriad that continues to stomp ass? I'm pretty sure that was the first multi algo beast
I didn't say multi-algo always fails, and didn't claim that Singularity was the first one. I was just suggesting "learning from  prevoius experiences!"

Fair enough

In 30 words or less, what was the issue with Singularity then?

No stand alone miner for your custom algo at launch?

launch after presale

Yes I read that it's not launched

Question is when it is launched for PoW will there be a standalone miner for Bastion?

Not to go pissing in your cereal here, but don't you think you are putting the cart in front of the horse so-to-speak? I mean, how can you possibly

"Phase 1
Currency establishing
During initial phase we need to establish exchange value for the coin. We are not scared that initial values will not be sky high. All we need at stage 1 is working coin"

without having Phase 2 operational? What is the point in launching now? Sure, you might want to work the bugs out, but thats what a testnet is for.

Good luck.

1149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nothing interesting on Bitcointalk - Where is the innovation? on: August 12, 2014, 08:20:45 PM
Where does the innovation take place?

New schemes, fresh ideas, new implementations. Where?

Man, they are still here, but tis bloody hard to find anymore... and a lot of stuff does not get the attention that it deserves. Case in point is Cryptonite. They had a beta test for at least a month bringing some real badass tech to the party and no one could be bothered to even test it.

To elaborate on presstab:

We have a proposal for a very nice richlist. The owner only wants BTC, though. We have five possibilities and we'd like your opinion on this.
1. We sell HYP to obtain BTC. Pros: simple. Cons; this massive sell would hurt the market
2. We ask BTC donation from the community (0.25 BTC). Pros: it doesn't hurt HYP. Cons: We need YOU (and us) to donate BTC
3. We decline the offer and build our own richlist. Pros: No further dilemna, custom-made richlist wish suits our needs. Cons: getting a nice richlist will require time and effort
4. We stick with present richlist. Pros: No further dilemna. Cons: below-average richlist
5. Other propositions

So you tell us. 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 Smiley

1. no
2. possbile
3. better
4. fine
5. meh

5.1 yes!

like this maybe?? https://github.com/stolendata/rpc-ace/ simple richlist php script built in.

Do we really need one that badly? If you were to pay for something, I would vote for paying something that adds utility to the coin and not just cosmetic fluff.
1151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would some Regulation in the Altcoin space be welcome? on: August 09, 2014, 02:26:19 PM
First rule of crypto's is NO FUCKING REGULATION!

Seriously, are you people high? Why are you even here then? Go play by the white devil's rules of Wall st if you want fucking rules.

Look, I know people get ripped off and scammers scam, but instead of defeating the whole purpose of crypto's, why not get off your fucking asses and educate the n00bs. Call the cunts out for their bullshit. Scream it so loud that every member of the cryptocoin scene will never again doubt. If those of us 'in the know' did our fair share, the shit tornado of coins would come to a halt.

Only you can prevent scamcoins

1152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HYP] HyperStake | Proof of Stake | 750% Annual | Coin-Swap & AllCoin on: August 09, 2014, 01:27:23 PM
Trying to figure out the POS thing of HyperStake.
If someone has all his coins on 1 pile and opens his wallet a couple of times a year will that person also get 750% or will reward be capped ?

You can do this. There is a ceiling of 1,000 HYP per stake. So if your 750% annual rate produces a reward of more than 1,000, then it will be capped. If it produces a reward under 1,000 then there is no cap. So planning your staking goals correctly can help to avoid any cap.
That must be real "fun" for ppl with a lot of coins, more coins more work.
Usually its the other way around !
Interesting project, will keep an eye open on this one.

Actually, it's not really that big of a deal. I brought a lot of TRK into HyperStake and it pretty much just took 5 minutes to break up my large blocks of coins.

There IS something to be said for healthy competition....

It IS fucking sad that more folks are not stepping up. Catia's time would be much better spent working on the client and not a miner.

Catia now delivers for you 2.5MH of raw speed on 750ti. For free as per usual. Now let those complaints roll!

and from hence forth only speaks in the third person

19:19 <Wolf`> 3MH/s or so from a 750Ti

But thats his personal miner and not the one from catia

Not yet. How does the GPU miner compare to CPU miner?

don't have a cuda card to test but somewhere around 10x?

This. Also, the point about 32-bit machines being the most popular is invalid - not because it's not true, but because it doesn't matter. Those machines are phones and ATMs, machines that people don't actually use for this sort of thing.

As far as I know most home computers are 32-bit as well, but of course you'll make the claim that the kind of tech savvy people that would use cryptocurrencies would all have 64-bit machines right?

Well then you don't know shit and should generally just shut the fuck up.

This is four years old:

http://blogs.windows.com/bloggingwindows/2010/07/08/64-bit-momentum-surges-with-windows-7/

Still no evidence to suggest that more than 50% use 64-bit, even if you take in the flawed momentum data. Haters gonna hate, watch your pump-n-dump floating belly up within 2 months like all the other shitcoins.

lol because of no 32bit binaries? Yeah ok bud. So what coins have you crafted?

Is there a way via either conf or command line to make the stake for charity persistent?

Right now there is no way to do this. Hopefully I can get this implemented in the future.

Fair enough sir.... I wont bore you with the horror story of how long it took me to figure out that I had to set it every launch.... you can imagine.
