Developers are still here?

"DEV" hasn't been online in 4 days. What a waste of time this was.

meh, I've seen longer disappearing acts...

Gonna mine this through the weekend then move on.. Just another wallet to add to the collection

1364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [TEST RELEASE] Cryptonite binary for linux (mini-blockchain implementation) on: June 13, 2014, 02:49:41 AM
The block target is 1 per minute but the retargetting algorithm is a type of filter and it takes a lot of blocks to fully adjust.

so sake of caution, call it 10 minutes would be safe? It's not like the clients would need many, just want to make sure it fires up every time.
1365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [TEST RELEASE] Cryptonite binary for linux (mini-blockchain implementation) on: June 13, 2014, 01:55:44 AM
Rightio sir!

While I am thinking about it, if you had to guess at a time frame for an average pc to earn say 5k coins mining, what would it be? (in minutes) Reason I ask is I am tinkering around with an install script to set up multiple clients across my lan and vps's that might help scale your tests and would want a time before having each instance start spamming.
1366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] CPU Coin List - CpuCoinList.com - Alt Coins For Your CPU on: June 13, 2014, 01:25:07 AM

Well I suppose it would be asking too much to have you point out any discrepancies instead of just being a shit head, right?
1367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ANN] CPU Coin List - CpuCoinList.com - Alt Coins For Your CPU on: June 12, 2014, 11:51:59 PM
Dont trust this website.

[edit] also, what is the procedure for testing new builds? Delete everything and start from scratch? Seems like when I try to keep my old wallet it wont start properly...

??

ffs... I've been at this off and on for the past week and for the life of me I cannot get the damn abe block explorer to work.

All I can say is I gave it 100% but sometimes thats just not good enough.
1370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][0.8.6] Truckcoin - TRK - X11 - 200% PoS Interest! on: June 12, 2014, 01:59:16 AM
dev is MIA and will not come back.

I am buying TRK @ 50 sat each. PM  me

not to call you out (cause I have much respect) but why offer to buy at low ball prices if you think there is no future?

Same reason I am mining a few? Just in case?

no one knows the true value of TRK as it is not listed on any exchanges. 50 SAT might be a low offer or a high offer. If TRK never gets listed then its practically worth zero, which means I over paid on my 50 SAT bid. I can put in a 1000 sat bid and people might think I am still low balling, but considering the failure of most recent high-interest coins. (ROM is paying out 30% annually, trades on Bittrex, has 15 mil coins but is trading at 40 SAT) then I think my 50 SAT bid is fair.

People are welcomed to put in higher bids, since we don't have an exchange yet, might as well trade OTC on this thread or use the altcoin marketplace.

I knew you would have a good answer. Thank you.

do I get a cookie?

I turned off my last spam thread. Lets see if it recovers?

Lol guys you might want to cut back on the spamming a bit... try to limit your scripts to 1 tx per second or longer.

boooo! Every party has a pooper and thats why we invited you! lol

Ok sir, I will cut mine back.
1374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore MRO/QCN/FCN/BCN GPU Miner on: June 12, 2014, 01:01:24 AM
does anyone got any other gpu mining program which can get u higher hash rate and with lower or zero fee, 5% is kinda high
This is the only one available so far. C&C Hash Factory has an nVidia miner but they've been privately mining with the ec2 GPU farms for a week or so now.

link?

damn. It's shit like that that makes me hate this scene sometimes. More than enough for everyone but noooOOooo, bastards have to worry about their profit margins. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Thanks for the link bud.
1375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [TEST RELEASE] Cryptonite binary for linux (mini-blockchain implementation) on: June 12, 2014, 12:58:34 AM
do a /cryptonited -testnet getmininginfo to see how many txs in a block
So many  Shocked

Wow this is really getting popular fast  Grin

well if I could manage to get my shit together I can start sending 100's of tx a sec if the network will handle the load and/or I can get my shit together.
1376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [TEST RELEASE] Cryptonite binary for linux (mini-blockchain implementation) on: June 12, 2014, 12:41:13 AM

gedit and I can't say I have ever had any issues with it before
1379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [TEST RELEASE] Cryptonite binary for linux (mini-blockchain implementation) on: June 12, 2014, 12:26:18 AM
lol so I officially never want to bash script again...

this line directly in the terminal works

while true; do ./cryptonited -testnet sendtoaddress mnmLy8zP7AmBAvdnhzoKPpFDZAowoZE1xq "1.00000041ep" "$RANDOM"; sleep 1; done

but not if i put it in a script. bloody hell sometimes I hate computers. Gonna have to break down and post this problem to stack overflow cause its literally going to keep me up at night.

[edit] also, what is the procedure for testing new builds? Delete everything and start from scratch? Seems like when I try to keep my old wallet it wont start properly...
1380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [TEST RELEASE] Cryptonite binary for linux (mini-blockchain implementation) on: June 11, 2014, 11:30:41 PM
./cryptonited -testnet sendtoaddress mnmLy8zP7AmBAvdnhzoKPpFDZAowoZE1xq "1.00000041ep" "$RANDOM"

Just typing that at command line seems to work for me.

same here, but not when I loop it

no dice

Code:
mrv.sh: 6: mrv.sh: arithmetic expression: expecting primary: " + ( % 2) * 32768"

you wouldn't think this would be so damn hard...

strange, the script I posted works for me as well as the one you wrote Huh

I'm starting to think my ass is just cursed... on the bright side of things, I am a stubborn bastard and now have declared war on this.
