2021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What’s the best coin to buy apart from bitcoin on: December 16, 2019, 05:56:52 PM
Masternode coins are not doing well at the moment so coins like Zcash, Dash are not the best of choices. Litecoin is a dead coin walking when its own founder left the project and sold all his holdings. This leave me with Ethereum and BNB coin which i think they are good coins to invest into but you will need to go in a for a very long hold to make some decent profits.
Zcash and Dash are not even on top 10 great performing coins this year, they have not even beaten the Tezos. Even Litecoin, I hardly sees it progressing in the future. What's left to us is a choice that could be the best one which is BNB, If this is the year that BNB performed so well, might as well it will be next year too since the growth is drastically plummeting. But take note, there are altcoins that did perform great also this year like Chainlink, I guess it is the most underrated altcoin we have now in the market. I should have say VeChain but I just read a hacking incident just today, too bad for VeChain tho.
2022  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Profitability of Trading Bots on: December 16, 2019, 04:51:57 PM
I am curious if people have had success with trading bots in cryptocurrency.

I have recently set up a bot and have been astounded by the operability of it. It's actually working lol.
Well, if you have also had luck or interesting experiences with trading bots let me know =]. Cheers

For a paid bot, it's work well, I ever to pay in trading bot (it's actually me & my friend) to try the bot. The bot itself offer 1% profit per day, at the first month it's work very well, the profit is not missing, but when there is a shock on the market, the bot starts to get confused, had lost about 2 days (around 3%), after that the bot returned to normal.

Just to remember trading bot is suitable for who wants to invest in trading but have no a lot time. Trading bot is shut down our experience in trading.
Did you really pay on using bots? I mean there are some that is free to use though I haven't used any of them yet. But well, we should be wary of what bots are capable of doing trades coz basically bots are just an extension of ours with our settings on it and typically based on the market movement, So there is no accurate percentage of profit at all. On top of those profit you get from 1% or 2% a day, when you lose big time about 10% in a month then it is not healthy anymore, just do the math when you are paying for the bot to work for you relatively to what you are earning on using it.
2023  Local / Pilipinas / Re: 🔥 🔥The BITCOIN Market Psychology (Nakakaurat minsan) Sad but True🔥 🔥 on: December 16, 2019, 03:34:41 PM

Sobrang relate ako dito  Sad masyado akong nagtiwala sa pump that time to the point na halos wala akong kinita especially sa bitcoin and ethereum kasi that time napakabilis ng pagasenso ng mga coins na to kaya aakalain mo talagang magtatagal pa. At pagtapos naman nun is yung matagal na bear market, naghohold pa rin ako kahit medyo stable na, meron pang time na nag dump yung eth ng almost 30% ( di ko na matandaan kung anong month) pero halos overnight lang nangyare yun and that caught my portfolio off guard. Now I still hold, buy in low pricen especially on top 10 coins sa market para mas mataas yung chance na kumita.
2024  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you ever trade at work? on: December 16, 2019, 02:20:19 PM
Do you ever trade at work or trade on your work computer? Any reason why you think this might be a terrible idea?

I am using mobile phone at work. And take note, I do some swing trades. There's nothing wrong about using mobile phones in trading. I still execute orders, (fill and exit orders)and it wasn't a terrible idea at all. I certainly gain profits without hassle. When it comes to technical analysis or indicators, there's a tradingview app to monitor chart and prices.

Mobile trading environment was too complicated if we have to compare it with personal computer. If you're working in the office of some clerical jobs, that's a good opportunity when we trade on full webpage viewing. But not all job has given this chance to do that due to some restrictions by company rules and regulations, so finding separate time schedule after work was I think very safe and convenient.
Yeah, me too I find it quite hard rather than trading in front of computer like there are some keys which is very small that my thumb can't fit to press it. But I never think of trading while working on my job, I'm a part time trader so that's maybe why I never imagine doing it. My personal preference on trading is really in front of computer and not on mobile though it offers portability.
2025  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: STOP BUYING BITCOIN NOW!!! This coin is crap on: December 16, 2019, 12:03:36 PM
I guess he did not earned enough with bitcoin so he formulated his opinion like this. Is this what we are going to expect on wake up accounts here in bitcointalk? A hate message? It's ridiculous that there are still who treat bitcoin this way even it is the only coin who lifted and dominated the market. But despite of any hate that you have showed I know you have BTC in you wallet  Cheesy
2026  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy bitcoin with credit card on: December 15, 2019, 04:25:42 PM
What's the difference between buying Bitcoin from a crypto exchange and from a crypto wallet (except fees)? Huh
What basically differs an exchange to an e-wallet when buying bitcoin is that exchange offers you another pair on your bitcoin after buying it and that enters the trading while e-wallet just stores the value of your bitcoin when you buy it but some wallet offers another method to spend your bitcoin. Thr market is very volatile but I assume conversion rate on e-wallet is much higher than the exchanges.
2027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Justin Sun’s Weibo Account Has Officially Been Shut Down on: December 15, 2019, 02:38:47 PM
I can sense that within the next decade, we will be going cashless. However, China can ride the wave only in a centralized way. But decentralization is the future (especially for those who are unbanked), as people like us are seeking to take control on what we own rather than the central banks controlling it.
For sure, China will suffer and regret in the future about not embracing Bitcoin, TRON and other cryptocurrencies in the market.
I really do not think that it will happen around the globe, there are third world countries that are struggling and going cashless by the government does not even mean going the crypto way and it is not a big surprise that China is taking this approach and is it even a big news news as Justin Sun just likes to be in the media attention all the time and what is he doing in this market that needs to give him this much special attention  Roll Eyes.
I agree on this one, we have been seeing first-world countries adopting the use of cryptocurrency in fiat alternative like Germany, Ukraine, US, China etc. it wasn't surprising at all seeing countries like that are adopting the revolutionary currency. For third world countries, I think they are just spectating the evolution happening with the currency since first world countries can somehow afford to lose on implementing this. China has been very active on innovation, no wonder they will be going to be cashless ( 90%) eventually.
2028  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Problems in Bitcoin on: December 15, 2019, 01:58:33 PM
I think bitcoin already growing up at this days its showing up to pump up and it's almost perfectly following the prediction of people in 2020 and it should be a nice year to come up.

Yes, indeed. Many people have their predictions and saying that in the next year, the bitcoin price will be better than before, and we will see bitcoin price will also increase to the higher price. But we should be patient because, until today, bitcoin price is not showing to go up to the higher price, and maybe we will need to wait until the end of this year. We wish that before the halving time of bitcoin, the price can increase and reach $10k, and although the price is down after reach that price, it will be back to another higher rate.

I think it's impossible to bitcoin price going down after the halving because the supply is more less and the block rate to get bitcoin is smaller even just a half than before. So i think if bitcoin price is already going more than 10k before the halving, it will go even more after the halving.
There will be a dramatic effect on bitcoin's price after halving that's for sure because it basically cuts the total number of bitcoin supply and reduces the rate so 99% bitcoin's price is going to increase.
What I expect for the next halving is that the price will be going up 10K or flat, probably we'll going to see a quite stable price of bitcoin on that price range.
2029  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, Spouses and Divorce on: December 15, 2019, 11:57:44 AM
If not then I think that person doesn't really support you to grow or be successful on your own way.
This is the main problem in that situation, a woman who does not want to understand or support you in what you are doing is not deserving of your love trust me, man. A true partner will always support his/her other half especially if it's his/her passion.
I never Imagine that I'll be commenting on this type of topic which includes bitcoin and marriage but here's the thing, regardless of what it is gold, money, property, if one person really loves you then might as well that person will love you unconditionally. Bitcoin did really become a new economy class where value is the most important to the person rather than it being a means of trading it's kinda sad seeing a picture of it in a way we expect it the least.
2030  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bituary.com a legit exchange? on: December 14, 2019, 07:23:35 PM
Haven't heard of it, just bump on this just today and saw @joiboni already warned about this exchange.

I don't know this exchange, it seems like it was just established, and its scale is small. The question is why don't you use big exchanges? There are many large and reputable exchanges today such as Bittrex, Binance, Poloniex, ... If no one knows about the new exchange that you submit, you should choose one of above to use. It will help you avoid potential risks. Arbitrage opportunities are not a good idea to take advantage. Transferring money from one exchange to another will take a long time, it will be a big hassle. Be careful!
It is not worth a risk to use that exchange, if you are finding a good arbitrage you can search for more popular, well-known  and reputable exchange. I'm a bit cautious about this one also though there are no proofs yet to accuse the exchange since no one's taking the initiative to trade in there. Think practically, don't be too radical on picking what exchange would you use that might give you problems.
2031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance’s IEOs keep Dumping, but why? on: December 14, 2019, 06:44:17 PM
I think Binance has nothing to do with that, it was already listed and free traded and then why criticising Binance for a price dump of an IEO project. if a project token was dump it could be mean a lot? or maybe the hodlers, investors was losing its confidence in the project. or maybe from the team also who possibly dump the matic token on exchange. and i believe that its not beyond Binance control.
Why would some people blaming the exchange for this reason? Look at these IEOs, what is their difference with ICO is that they are already tradeable with no assurance of getting a good position in the market so it is more of like an ICO in disguise. Exchange has nothing to do with pricing, they are just generating leverage on that one. Another thing is altcoins can be manipulated easily by the team behind. it is their strategy to survive long in the fatal market we have now. I've been seeing a dump everywhere, no wonder why there are project that don't last long.
2032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Alt projects to take off in 2020 on: December 14, 2019, 06:13:15 PM
We have thousands of altcoin being developed everyday. I can't really ascertain the best of them all cos the bearish market it's making the token I have now to look shitty to me. I believe by next year, I can be able to know the fate of the token I have now
For me there is no way altcoins in development these dayds are going to hit hard the next year or so, what I believe is that other bitcoin contenders such as EOS, Ethereum and LTC are going to make a big step. There is just no clear indications that new altcoins are going to make a huge difference, you can even see the shitty coins in the market entering dormancy phase. The market has grown. investors learned their lesson so I don't think investors will still give a shot on new projects.

Even IEO projects are getting hard times, there is a high chance that 2020 will be just another year like 2019.
2033  Economy / Economics / Re: Greeks face heavy fines if they don't spend 30% of their income electronically on: December 14, 2019, 05:34:00 PM
This seems to be a trend in Europe with other countries making similar requirements. This is a trend that’s probably good for cryptocurrencies.
even though it is a trend of European countries, but it still makes a mystery, why do they have to spend 30% of their total income? Isn't that a person's own privacy, I think the rules are a bit silly, if only paying taxes I think there is no problem
That is a total rigged. 30% is way too much to spend forcefully. European countries are no doubt active when talking about cryptocurency,In fact just recently Germany announced its new law that imposes cryptocurrency option on their banking system. The ruling of this is a bit off for me, even taxes on european are bit higher. This is good for the cryptocurrencies though, but it does make another lose deal to the citizen. No doubt what these countries will do in the name of economy.
2034  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best ways of bringing Bitcoin to non-crypto users on: December 14, 2019, 04:45:43 PM
As they say. The proof is in the pudding. Make a transaction live in front of them and show them how easy it is to do and how anyone can do it. Show them the speed and the power you feel not needing a bank or any other third party. When they see the payment successful screen and use your item is being ordered they will be impressed.
It's also good for our friends to see how we earn bitcoin and what other ways of using bitcoin. I'm sure they'll have an interest here especially when they find out that they can earn some money too by working with bitcoin.
As of my personal experiences, my friendas tends to follow what I do that is beneficial like on cryptocurrency. I even pursue them to join in here and register just to have an account and read the most out of article here regarding cryptocurrencies and blockchain. So far they are enjoying it and we have been discussing it when we gather. It is not just about working and earning it is really about learning this technology that could possibly take over the conventional way of recording. Now they are investing with various known cryptocurrency which makes me feel overwhlemed.
2035  Economy / Economics / Re: How do manage portfolio efficiently while having a full time job? on: December 13, 2019, 06:55:46 PM
How do manage portfolio efficiently while having a full time job?

There is nothing to manage. You buy and spend, that is it.  How be able to full fill my thirst about cryptocurrenies technology is different and way more interesting subject to talk about.
But wouldn't be just a waste of money if you don't manage at all? Like buying bitcoin, ethereum or any alts just to spend?Although it is cryptocurrencies, a currency into it, you can't just like buy it and spend it, what are you a millionaire or something? I'm a student and I have an 8 school hours everyday but even having a lot of time to do manage my portfolio I still get lost sometimes due to too much volatility. That is why for me you can't just say to buy and spend crypto unless you're living using it.
2036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Opinions about quitting mining on: December 13, 2019, 06:26:48 PM
Quitting mining is what we think of. In my opinion, you should not give up exploitation because this job is very good and has many benefits.

Not as many benefits as we think because the has rate which we get nowadays are peanuts which does not suffice the electricity and internet bills, moreover most of us who started small scale mining at home have already incurred huge loss
This is why I never get in touch with mining, I assume this going to happen as centralized mining are emerging. I can't get enough just thinking what rate I need to maintain a good benefit of mining without getting a huge expense on electricy coz electricity in my country is quitr expensive compared to others.

and I have recently sold my mining machine for 10x lesser value because it was useless for over an year now. Mining sounds good but it's not for individual.
That's sad, it could be much more beneficial when it generates a lot. Bitcoin price is gaining enough but it seems mining is getting harder and more expensive isn't it? Too bad for miners like you.
2037  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC to GOLD on: December 13, 2019, 01:42:17 PM
some people will said that bitcoin is better than gold, and vice versa. for me, this two have their own advantage, i store gold and i have bitcoin. maybe the one is not useful for now, but we never know at the end? and maybe the other is very useful for now, but we never know at the end.
Well each and every people varies in terms of preference in storing value and uniting of account so it really depends on what a particular person thinks of what is most secured and assured. But personally if I were asked what is more beneficial I'd say bitcoin of course coz it is considered a new economy class without making it less with its given risk. Also bitcoin offers a lot compared to gold since bitcoin is used on buying and selling, trading and payment means.
2038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beginner needs advice for portfolio on: December 12, 2019, 07:59:55 PM
I would definitely suggest BNB as well as NEO. BNB is because if obvious reasons, binance is the leading exchange in the market and more people are getting in everyday.
Neo, because it has the potential to go big and China is favoring it since the beginning.
Binance did great launching their own to add an asset to their exchange. Their platform is doing well for a couple of years now and can clearly see the massive growth of the exchange, however if we are really talking on what altcoin is very strong now I suggest the Chainlink and Energi. You can just search the chainlink on coinmarketcap charts and you'll see a susbstantial price movement of it. Neo is good because of China but I guess they won't let NEO have the control on their country, they might use or create another coin in the future.
2039  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Whales keep getting richer and richer while everybody else is losing... on: December 12, 2019, 07:30:44 PM
Cryptocurrency trading is already volatile and risky. Doing margin trading adds another level of risk and can take your investment out of your control as you have described.

I have found that trading in general is not very profitable because of the losses in fees, etc. unless you are just really good at trading.

We should learn that in trading, it is a gamble too, once someone is earning of course the other party is losing, this is the game of money, so we must be very careful and don't trust much everyone here especially if they are telling people to buy this as it will pump soon, for sure they will sell their holdings that's why they are yelling and shilling over the internet to buy that.
What the most people here are very speculating, even there is insignificant change in the market they interpret that as big deal when in real it is not. What differs the small trader and whales is the affordability, whales tends to gamble and invest massive amounts coz that's the nature of risking while small ones are just on their average. Another thing is whales can manipulate the market with their holdings, they can easily prepare a trap in the market especially the institutional and corporational investments. Being smart and emotionally capable being would make you strong to cope with the market.
2040  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't spend bitcoin. Not now. on: December 12, 2019, 06:51:37 PM
What makes difficult here is that people are just considering Bitcoin is purely an investment instead of currency to spend with. If we keep holding bitcoin we can't expect that its prices will go higher as the demand will still at a low. We need to have huge support and market demand but actually can't be of possible if there are no users.

It should be a multipurpose as people should save it and also be suing it like Fiat is being saved and also savings are done by people . Thus combination of both will help the btc and people to also to take advantage and thus solve the purpose too .
At the current state of bitcoin specifically about the its price you cannot just tell people to spend it just because it is a currency, that won't work that way. Even fiat are being saved although the volatility of it is at a very low rate, that is incomparable to cryptocurrency like bitcoin and ethereum with a humongous movements. Bitcoin now are being asset backing thing even with the risk containing it, why? simply because of its potential to grow more through the years of facing near industrial revolution.
