1322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 5 SAFEST Cryptocurrencies to BUY right now! 💰 on: September 30, 2020, 09:12:19 PM
As the other people mentioned above, the word 'safest' isn't really a thing with cryptocurrencies especially the volatile ones. There is always a risk, and when there is a risk things can be very uncertain with the investments. We welcome other's opinion here, but this is an obvious shilling of coins in your wallet. Probably you're just trying to make things work on these coin, which is unnecessary from the other coins that you've mentioned.
1323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports Betting vs Real "Sports Feelings" on: September 30, 2020, 08:46:45 PM
The loyalty test I guess? For me no matter how high or low the odds if you really want to support them even if they don't know you, you will support them in betting. That only means that you trust the team that's why you're betting in them. For some people money is greater than the loyalty to sports, they think that they cannot get anything from the team they want to support so they just gamble for the other opponent.
1324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KUCOIN Hacked on: September 30, 2020, 08:20:54 PM
I am really disappointed in the inability to prevent the sale of the coin after the stolen wallet had been discovered. Even if the team has enough to cater for the loss like Binance, the level of connection should help to freeze the coin.
They can't just simply freeze the coin even if they are friends with the maker of the coin, that's what makes the decentralization so powerful. Besides, investigation might take just enough time for the hackers to send it to another address in another form of coin. What they can only do is trace wherever the stolen funds are going, by that they can entrap the hackers using state laws.

The complain was for DEX this time and Binance allowed the conversion of coin to fiat for Eterbase stolen fund. I dont know what to believe sometimes with the exchanges, if they cant protect themselves as exchange who is really safe with them.
You should know how these entities  are working, they can't simply tag each coin and just make them freeze. They can only do freezing of accounts whenever someone is looking suspicious to them. Actually no one is really safe.
1325  Economy / Economics / Re: Rise in US unemployment. Thoughts? on: September 30, 2020, 07:53:35 PM

The pandemic is still going on, and still nothing changes, given on the examples I've seen in the news on how most of the US citizens handles the pandemic,
It's been months since we are in lockdown, I disagree that there is no changes, maybe our country varies but there should be an adopted way of living amidst the pandemic and your government should have work on that during this time. There have been reopening of businesses in cities, job opportunities produced online and online classes/work. That's the change that I'm talking about.

I can say that it will still rise. They have their own name of freedom where they mostly don't care about the people around them, thus disregarding the use of face shield and face mask in public.
I've watched many videos in America showing their citizens belittling the pandemic, they don't wear mask or any protective gear and they are shouting their freedom. Here in my country? go out without face mask and you'll be fined as high as $2000.
1326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would you prefer? Live casino games or slots? on: September 30, 2020, 06:37:11 PM
roullette is in both live and non live game . its a non skill game but i have seen players play like a pro .
roulette is non skilled game so it's impossible for a player to play like pro that he knows every outcome. I used to play roulette during my boring times, and I don't really care where I bet I just play it and surprisingly most of the time I win.

Playing slots or live casino games does not matter as long as you are making the most out of your money.
1327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe NBA is rigged? on: September 30, 2020, 03:44:29 PM
If you believe it's rigged, is it a disadvantage or advantage to us bettors?
If NBA is rigged the benefit of bettors will depend on how much they know about it, just like having an intel from inside the CIA, that would be a blast if you know but also it will depend on the odds on the betting platform.

Share your opinion and if you have some proof, kindly post.
I'm fond of NBA, I've watched numerous NBA games and to be honest I don't see any rigged or fixed games in the NBA, it is just that referees are human too, they can't see the whole corner of the court. Maybe from that, many people concludes that NBA is rigged or being fixed at some point.
1328  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Sets Record 63 Straight Days Closing Above $10,000 on: September 29, 2020, 09:03:00 PM
Expect a higher price stability once it gets crossed the $10K price range, maybe around $12K. This only shows that bitcoin is a global dilemma proof unlike any other assets that are circulating in the market. But still it is volatile, we might see it tomorrow dropping to $9K again, it's really uncertain especially with the hype of DeFi projects. I'm expecting a $17K ATH this year, hopefully it will come in December.
1329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Cryptospace is getting Worst on: September 29, 2020, 08:27:54 PM
The game has changed these past couple of months, projects now are being seen on how much hype they get from their funny names or hilarious goals in crypto space. Now it's all about how wise the investors are when it comes to buying and selling, buy at presale, sell when it touches the exchange and get an easy return. Most of investors right now are just killing other investors, let them play with crypto  Grin
1330  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic pushed the US into recession- now official , analysis on: September 29, 2020, 07:55:19 PM
The corona vaccine is still the item that is most expected to exist before 2020 ends, but until now the development of the corona vaccine has only reached 70%.

there is no way we could see a Corona virus vaccine within this year. at least not a real one anyways.
Russia said that they will announce the first ever corona virus 19 vaccine this year but it was really shady AF. They did it themselves, even WHO are suspecting that it would cause more health problems once taken by an individual.

first they have find a vaccine that works then they have to first experiment on lab rats (or similar animals) then there should be human studies among volunteers and finally start mass production.
I've read some clinical trial results, and it's really bothering because it is inconsistent like there were 100 people being experimented and none of them show any side effects, then the second trial 50/100 of people did show any violent reaction from the vaccine. My guess about this pandemic? it would take 2 years before the vaccine starts to be mass produced ( not hoping lol )

this could easily take 1 year to 1.5 year if we are lucky.
Earlier hopefully, I already saw the every corner of our house.
1331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency for Passive income on: September 29, 2020, 06:57:55 PM
Passive income apart from regular day job? it is very uncertain for anyone to have an income with crypto by just merely investing, prices are very volatile, one day you're greenish another day your red. So would it count as income at all? especially when you're not actively checking on it? There is the stigma for most of the people about crypto, they think it's all about earning money passively just by putting their money into it.  Roll Eyes

1332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin a sure legacy on: September 29, 2020, 05:47:23 PM
How is Bitcoin a sure legacy? You don’t even know when you’re dying and how will your family have access to the wallet where the cryptocurrency is stored? because I know for sure that most people who are making use of Bitcoin don’t tell anyone their passwords to their wallet; they just install a wallet and then buy Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies and store in it.
There are various topics that has been discussed regarding to this, bitcoin as an inheritance to your loved ones. Maybe the OP is referring to bitcoin as sure legacy when the death isn't a sudden one like accident. Even me, if I have to die now I'll make a way for my family to get access to my wallet and get the valuable coins I got there. Most people might not know about bitcoin, but a simple instruction will do.

The only way you can say it’s a sure thing that you’re leaving for your family is when you write down the passwords down and keep it in a place where you know that your family will have access to it when you’re no more. If it’s not going to be that way, and you’re going to be the type that will keep the passwords to yourself, then it’s of no use.
The worst thing to happen to human is to die, though it's part of life, if you read Hal's story then you should know what you need to do if you want a legacy.
1333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people keep playing unlicensed, illegal slot machines? on: September 29, 2020, 04:19:06 PM
Some people keep playing in unlicensed slot machines for some reasons of addiction, able to earn money that they could have and of course it brings entertainment to them.
But for the most part, it is just because the illegal slot machines are convenient for them, besides people playing on illegal slot machines found in their neighborhood are just from the vicinity, silent from authority and vigilant.

Actually even in our country there are many low profile living in a urban areas that keep doing this playing in a illegal machines which they are not afraid to caught by.
It was a long time ago since the illegal slot machine here in my city was demolished, it's part of my childhood tho, and as I age I realized that it was illegal. People are not afraid to be caught coz policemen are paid to protect it.
1334  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin and bitcoin high transaction fees on: September 28, 2020, 09:25:44 PM
It is that bitcoin isn't convenient at all times. If bitcoin could send better than fiat then it should be adopted right away when it was released. This is why we call it 'alternative'. You're not missing anything, it is just that you are too fan of bitcoin that you think you can just use it the way you use the fiat or digital currency. Besides, bitcoin these days is not seen as a currency but rather an investment due to its volatility so why bother yourself to spend it when it can double moment after you spend it?
1335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting small amounts on a lot of matches or big amount on couple of matches? on: September 28, 2020, 09:00:44 PM
I've tried depositing $10 once and bet it all in roulette, I was tryna made a one try one luck there and lost lol have you guys tried it before? like when you just want to make your money double you're going to risk it in fortune games? Risk taking is what makes some people hit the jackpot, and most people get rekt chasing the jackpot. Betting at any amount will depend on your play style.
1336  Economy / Economics / Re: The 2nd generation of banking is going digital on: September 28, 2020, 07:44:47 PM
The second generation of banking services has turned digital, but it hasn't got a complete transformation. This will change slowly, now through mobile wallets and through other forms of digital transfer more transactions have been taking place.
In transition I suppose, I kinda seeing a lot of bank here in my country offering online services such as online banking and online loan, even non bank organization does the same. Mobile banking has been so easy these days, they already support bank to bank transaction and bank to e-wallet transaction. Perhaps, a couple of years from now we'll start to see a complete transited society from traditional to digital.

1337  Other / Meta / Re: Troll role? on: September 26, 2020, 08:58:54 PM
Why is that not sanctioned more by moderators?

They need to be reported so that moderators could take action. The success rate is not very high (although some of my recent reports against korner seem to have been successful) and it's unlikely to lead to a ban, mostly just the posts get deleted.
Well I think it depends on our moderators, one of them might find a post not that trolling and the other find it obviously trolling. This happened with the user spy100, I think you remember this guy, mods did not sanctioned him they just delete his posts. Basically, trolling definition depends on the moderators.

Still, if it annoys you - report them. Brace for some bad reports.
Just report and ignore, that will do the job.
1338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you trust, BNB or ETH? on: September 26, 2020, 07:56:51 PM
Both coins are good, asking what people prefer depends on their preference in a coin, let's say they want to hold for quite some time, I doubt BNB could give them at least x1.5 unlike with ETH. Don't get me wrong, BNB is a good coin I have it in my portfolio but the thing with Ethereum is that it is known for the Queen of the market after bitcoin. BNB on the other hand gives you some benefit when using it in Binance. I'll vote for eth all the way against BNB.
1339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A woman has been arrested in the United States for hiring a killer with bitcoin on: September 26, 2020, 06:25:39 PM
You have to be stupid to hire a killer these days. Most of the adds online are fakes set up by the police and you can't even be sure if the guy won't scam you.
It's really funny why there are people who think that hiring killers online is legit, though I'm not really sure but logically how are these people gets the job done especially when you're from the other side of the globe. And yes, if there is going to be a killer for hire online that could be just an entrapment operation for the authorities trying to capture some criminals online.

What would she say? I hired a killer and he didn't do his job? Cheesy
The story is really shady, I don't get to see the source, could have been a made up story. I'll buy into this story once a credible source shows up.
1340  Economy / Economics / Re: IMPACTS OF ROBOTICS ON WORLD ECONOMY on: September 24, 2020, 07:10:25 PM
Text spinning and plagiarism detected, you need to add the source in your post if you took it.

A service robot is a robot that performs useful tasks for humans or equipment excluding industrial automation application.
A professional service robot or a service robot for professional use is a service robot used for a commercial task, usually operated by a properly trained operator. Examples are cleaning robot for public places, delivery robot in offices or hospitals, fire-fighting robot, rehabilitation robot and surgery robot in hospitals. In this context an operator is a person designated to start, monitor and stop the intended operation of a robot or a robot system.

Robots increase productivity and competitiveness. Used effectively, they enable companies to become or remain competitive. This is particularly important for small-tomedium sized (SME) businesses that are the backbone of both developed and developing country economies. It also enables large companies to increase their competitiveness through faster product development and delivery. Increased use of robots is also enabling companies in high cost countries to ‘reshore’, or bring back to their domestic base parts of the supply chain that they have previously outsourced to sources of cheaper labour.
Currently, the greatest threat to employment is not automation but an inability to remain competitive.

Man you got to delete this shit before a moderator catch you, I'm not tolerating any action like this in the forum but taking your rank consideration that you're still a newbie, I guess it's not too late to change your type of routines here in the forum. Your account might be banned, and your 10 merits will be wasted. I'm wondering why others still commented on this one  Huh
