1981  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When next bull run happen?? on: December 25, 2019, 05:42:16 PM
I completely agree. In 2020, you should not expect a price explosion. 2020 will be a year when you just have to sit and wait. I hope we can handle it)
sit and wait? can you do it I hope there will be a pump to help each of my investment assets have a better value? but I won't just wait. I would rather spend my time with altcoin and daily trading because it is more exciting than having to wait for a pump for a long time.
Yeah don't just sit, relax and watch the price of bitcoin there are so much value outside of bitcoin ecosystem, there's the alternative altcoins that has the potential of decent profit with proper approach. Bitcoin is expected to explode next year since the bitcoin halving is going to take place next year which has a chart based prediction and most likely to be real. It's been a year since bitcoin does not reach the $8 to $9 price range, so maybe next year it will do.
1982  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest crypto fraud of all time on: December 25, 2019, 05:02:43 PM
I remember people calling one coin the bitcoin killer, lol 😆 oh i hate centralized coins, the fact is there was no coin mined, no blockchain, nothing, I have never seen anything like it, any coin that claims to kill bitcoin is red flag lol
You can always fool people who have no idea about the crypto market and anyone who promises a guaranteed return is a sure shot scam and there are more than $40 billion been taken off the market by these scammers in this period of time through different scams including ponzi schemes and ICO frauds and i wish every scammers will be caught in the future and given the right sentence and the investors get their money refunded.
From the moment that the project promised that it will be a guaranteed return investors should've distance themselves from that, commong we are on crypto space where the uncertainty is on another level. I would really love to see millionaire to be jailed with no bail but that seems to be impossible as the people behind the project don't really show their identity both online and offline. Authority doesn't know who will they run after and that's cruel for most of the investors.
1983  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What kind of crypto trading do you recommend with $50 investment? on: December 25, 2019, 04:20:40 PM
Even with day trading, making small profit is not guaranteed.
Well definitely he is not appropriate for day trading for the moment since he is just a beginner that is why he is asking for recommendation.

Suppose BTC price is $7000. I buy $50 worth of bitcoin = 0.007 BTC
Then some hours later, it rises to $7500. Then I sell my BTC to earn USD = $52.5
But this is not always the case.
Cryptocurrencies are so volatile that it is very hard to determin the entry/exit points even for experienced traders.
What if you buy bitcoin at 7000$ but the price keeps dropping! You must have an alternative strategy to recover your losses.
$7000 to $7500 in an hour is possible however it does not always sticks at that market rhythm, there are times that bitcoin is doing as what we think inversely making it too volatile. What I can recommend is try the demo account first, there are some platforms that has this, and try to limit your funds in $50 then trade like it is your real money.
1984  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Much Worth of Projects IEO's listing in Exchanges? on: December 25, 2019, 03:23:34 PM
Small exchanges are not recommended because of the high listing fee but the conditions of listing IEO are easier than applying for listing on the exchanges like Biannce, Bittrex. Afaik, minium 10 BTC was required for listing the coin on the Binance a year ago but for the current moment, I have no idea about the payment.
As far as I know Binance is not the highest bidder for coin listing as they are only asking from $1million to $3million depends on what the coin type(compatibility) and marketing services. I didn't read any article that it needed 10 BTC ( about $100000 which is quite small for what they are asking now). I think it changed since they are one of the top ranking and best performing exchange at the current time, but think of it, is it expensive isn't?
1985  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin becoming a safehaven currency in Argentina on: December 25, 2019, 02:05:45 PM
Not just in Argentina. It happened in Venezuela also and in other countries including Libya. This might also be happening in Hong Kong with the rising tension within their territory. All of these cases are giving their fiat a very uncertain value and future. And if they want to make sure that whatever money they have left will not end up worthless they need to convert them into something whose value will grow instead of decrease. Bitcoin is one great option of course.
Bitcoin will only be a safe haven when it is stable but it's not. Venezuela, Argentina and Hong Kong are not making bitcoin or any cryptocurrencies as safe haven because of a certain problem in their country, what they are doing is a mere saving, uniting, and storing of amount in a most volatile assent present now. That is not a safe haven, that is the only choice they have for now because of inflation and protests. But look at the price now even if some countries are going in with bitcoin, I've never seen such significant change in price for a quite long time.
1986  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long term bitcoin trading viewing on: December 24, 2019, 05:58:03 PM
yep, you can see that Bitcoin's price will soon rise as the halving event is about to take place. This event is causing people to pour money to buy bitcoin at the moment and sellers are gradually exhausted when the price push has been very strong in recent days.
so you can see the important support is about $ 7k from now. We are still in a very good buying zone and this is an opportunity for us to have a great profit in the future.

I agree with you because the price of bitcoin is much lower now but its price will increase in the future. We should all buy and hold bitcoin now. I think many people who have left crypto due to bitcoin prices will definitely come back to crypto.
I'm having some doubts on the halving that will take place next year, why? because the past halving was 4 years ago and the market condition was not that really outreached compare to what we have now. So my hypothesis on this upcoming event is not that great as the others sees it. It would bring a huge price comeback for bitcoin or it will trigger a massive decline followed by a pump, anything could happen unexpectedly so might as well don't raise yout expectation that high.
1987  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest crypto fraud of all time on: December 24, 2019, 05:00:40 PM
I know a lot of people who managed to make very good money on the ONE coin. The fact is that before investing your money in such projects, you need to understand whether you are doing this on time and assess your risks. At Bitconnect, too many people were able to make good money also. I do not say that these scam projects are good, but I believe that everyone should assess the risks of the project.
Not new type of scam accusation here in this industry. Some people might call it a blessing after getting the most of it while the other call it hell after being devastated. I've seen some positive whatabouts with these and I knew there will be a negative since the market is a pure speculation and manipulation. The one who did lost are new comers and investors on that coin, there is no doubt about that, the risk should be assessed from the start and be knowledgeable on what it could bring to you.
1988  Economy / Economics / Re: Anyone else remember this? on: December 24, 2019, 04:02:31 PM
Cryptocurrency offers new business areas. However, people begin to comment on the market before they know exactly how it works. Now all we have to do is improve ourselves. Then success will come. You need to be knowledgeable to do solid work.
lol. you are just wasting time putting your attention to the people who still talk shit about the cryptocurrencies when in fact it already showed its capability in different industries in front of blockchain technology. You don't need to walk with the same steps to people behind you because it would just look like you are on the same level as them. Create your own path, you do not need to copy anyone's success, you have to do it your own.
1989  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you ever trade at work? on: December 23, 2019, 05:26:02 PM
My real job, for now is not in front of computer and i am bad at trading in phone. So maybe not from me, but if can i will do that because sometime my trading activity is not really on active market. Usually i only set order and after it filled, i set sell order. Only like that actually wouldn't disturb we people to work and we can do both in same time. But unfortunately i can't do it.
I saw people commenting that they are trading at work and some are not but I find trading while at work/job very unethical because basically you are being paid for the job you have at a certain time and doing something else outside of your work. I don't trade while im off with computer coz it tends to make more silly decision and I feel trading at phone is dispersive.
Not unless when you are on break on your work, that is quite reasonable but that does not mean to prioritize the trading at that point.
1990  Economy / Economics / Re: At which price will loose Bitcoin the dominance in the Crypto Market? on: December 23, 2019, 04:26:22 PM
Where will the weight shift when Bitcoin loses its dominance on the market? There's too much altcoin. Which of the subcoins will take over now. I think the Ethereum will be one of them. Then let's look at the subcoins that are good at the project team.
Ethereum is indeed the most successful altcoin so far and it has always been following the trends of bitcoin much better than any other coin. Well this is really absurd to think that bitcoin will ever lose its dominance. Ethereum can increase in its value but it can never be able to exceed bitcoin. Bitcoin has far more market than Ethereum. Even if all bitcoin is mined out, still I am sure that it would rule the world.
Not just only ethereum is the most successful altcoin ever but also way better than bitcoin. What bitcoin has is the reputation where ethereum does not have that much compared to bitcoin that is why it is vague for now to say that bitcoin will lose its place in market dominance. At the end, as decentralization is taking over the people, the possibility of bitcoin to lose the market dominance is at stake and not only the ethereum have the chance of getting to it.
1991  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Help in Trading on: December 23, 2019, 02:30:42 PM
If you want to make sure that you are earning in trading or by buying and selling cryptocurrencies then you should set a specific target for profit taking and for your stop loss. You cannot just convert your bitcoin to fiat and vice versa when you just see a green or red in your portfolio. It is better to give it a time and always plan your trade before you even convert your money to cryptocurrency.
Most of new people tends to overlook the calculation of conversion fees and other fee generated on every trade so most probably what will happen is unnecessary loss just because you have seen a green on the price. What I always think of when trading is the timing, I always ask myself ' would I benefit if I sell on this point?' so I'll make an analysis to decide what to do next.
1992  Economy / Economics / Re: The ballast on: December 23, 2019, 01:16:20 PM
Ballast?  I don't think I've ever heard that term used about a currency before, and I've been reading financial news for at least twenty years now.  I'm not sure if OP is applying it where it's not quite appropriate or if I've missed out on some new jargon lately.
never head of it too. I've been on this space in a while but never encounter this word before, as for looking it on google it is related to having limit that can be associate with stability on which I cannot clearly state if it is appropriate.

Why go far into talking about ballast.
Why not just say stability?
Beats me.  It might be easier (and clearer) to say that bitcoin is extremely volatile, and the reason it's not stable is because 1) it's relatively new, and 2) it floats on the open market much like a share of a stock and gets traded quite a bit.  Maybe if it had a higher market cap it might be a little less volatile, which tends to be the case with large cap stocks.  Don't know where the ballast part comes in.
He's referring to the fiat currency that has a ballast or stability because it is regulated by the government in contrast with the bitcoin that has no certainty. Is there anyone who claims that bitcoin is stable? NONE. what must be the problem is that the OP is against bitcoin and cryptocurrency saying it has no future at all.  Sad
1993  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: to be able to get a large profit in today's trading is very difficult! on: December 23, 2019, 11:11:49 AM
I know it’s very hard and difficult, although I believe that, with proper risk-management, proper strategy, and adequate knowledge of technical analysis, one can profit in the crypto market. Rules and guidelines for any plan or set up is as easy as A,B,C,D. but we lack control and carry zero patience. That’s why simple trading becomes hard. Risk management is all it is. I go through this everyday and I know how hard it is for me to hold myself back. I find it really difficult to keep the money. Making money seems easy at times keeping it and walking away is very hard.
I totally agree on this one, we should not stick on a single strategy because the market is always changing we should also change our strategy and market approach every time we deal with the market. What I do now is just hold, I see no difference in the market moving down since the 2018 although btc has gone too far. It could take another year for the market to skyrocket, or worse it could take couple of years.
1994  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are there any trading chat rooms? on: December 22, 2019, 01:17:05 PM
We need crypto-chat-roulette. Just imagine another naked trader giving you his signals.
Yeah probably the main reason why we don't have such feature like chat room on trading platforms, Some might take that as an advantage for giving signals on which they are the one who will only benefit from it. Only on gambling platform has this feature since it can be used for tricking your opponent which is totally fair.
1995  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: handling bitcoin volatility on: December 22, 2019, 07:53:33 AM
Placing my buy and sell order in advance is my key to protect myself from the volatility that bitcoin has. I don't want to leave my holdings without placing them in an open order because once I got off from my desktop, anything can happen in the market and it could result to a huge loss.
What do you mean by placing it in advance when it does not matter at all coz the market is volatile so it is very unsure at the first place.  What could be the most effective to avoid huge loss or even just a loss is to monitor the market as long as possible to analyze the market in close to what would be the next movement of prices. Perhaps you have a pretty good luck.
1996  Economy / Economics / Re: What if crypto vanishes? on: December 22, 2019, 07:06:02 AM
Another ' what if ' question that does not have any chance of getting into reality at all. But let us say that there is a chance unlikely 1% of getting vanished with Thanos' snap, well that would be ridiculous for everyone that has funds in a form of crypto no matter how huge or small it is, then the fiat will also vanished and that might be a good topic for another 'what if'. lol.
1997  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance’s IEOs keep Dumping, but why? on: December 21, 2019, 08:02:24 PM
There have been several issues with Matic and I don't think it would be wise to blame binance for it. Binance can't just always carry the tokens to a better price. When the project does some mistakes, it's bound to fall. Most of the IEOs in binance are still in positive ROI and matic is one of the exception.

Totally agree with you. I have no idea why people think an exchange is cause of dumping. I mean isn't it a regular matter in trading world. Some investor invested their money on that project now some reason they sold their asset. So what is problem with that..?

And i don't think it's good idea to investigate traders data for that. Binance already loss their reputation for couple of reason. So if binance take such a step like this then traders will not show their interest any more to trade there.
Yeah absolutely true dumping is just a result of investors getting what they have invested on a certain project, I mean it is rge nature of newly introduced market for altcoin which is the  dumping. Well talking about binanc there is so much to argue about but not just its capability for listing new coinw in the market. IEOs im binqnce are still great to have these days since they are a lot profitable than any other IEOs from other exchanges.
1998  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the difference? on: December 21, 2019, 07:21:56 PM
Governments may just imply blockchain and improve already existing digital currency systems. But of course this new system will be centralised and even more cabalistic.
Governments are really against with the cryptocurrencies but let us not expect for them to welcome the cryptocurrencies as a whole but rather the blockchain technology that bqcks it up. Let us be real government does not any decentralized syst overcome them as it will result to uncontrollable freedom to the peoplr that would cause an economic confusion. It is good to see great news abput cryptocurrencies let us not expect a lot from it.
1999  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which logo is best for BitcoinSOV (BSOV)? on: December 21, 2019, 01:24:51 PM
Number 1 looks like a 3d art work which looks bogus for my liking. Definitely not number 2, it is tasteless. Number 3 looks good, the triplet rhombus in a circle looks more like it. So I prefer no 3

I like simplicity, so I'll go for number 3, all the successful coins in the market, has a simple logo, people can easily relate and can easily spot if you include the so many logos in the market, but if you go for voting and number 3 did not win the voting, you should still consider simplicity, so far number is winning.
I'll also vote for the logo #3 but it reminds me of the bancor network logo although the design itself is quite far than what it is but the color way is almost the same. The logo #2 also, the one that has the fire above is very unique I guess since I never saw a logo that has that design. Perhaps you guys can mix that all up and came for a new bad ass logo could you?
2000  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: to be able to get a large profit in today's trading is very difficult! on: December 21, 2019, 11:16:20 AM
Honestly daily trading is profitable but  not as much as long term trading. If you do daily trading you need to choose right coin and right site to trade because all we know that there are so many site offering a good trading activity but in the end you will get break even income or worst loss. So it is better to make some research before you engage to trading.
Let us be realistic here, Market that has a high volatility rate does not have the same rate of effectivity on trading in daily trading, It means you don't have the same chance as yesterday even if you have chosen the right coin if the market is not that profitable then it won't work. Regardless of what coin, what you need to have is a perfect timing to maximize your profit so you'll be lose proof.
