1061  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who are buying all these bitcoin on: December 29, 2020, 09:34:35 PM
The most sensible answer to the current face of the narket is to sell, or else you'll be the stepping stone of the people rampaging when the price drops. Although this is ironic, this is the most efficient way of saving your money as the current face of the market is far from stable, anytime price correction may come in and cause all sorts of shenanigans. So yeah.
1062  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin price start Falling? on: December 29, 2020, 08:44:23 PM
I speculated the price to dump in January, where the price correction will kick in. After this, the price will continually fluctuate low to high until a certain point where we would definitely know another bullish run is coming. That's how bitciin has bedn in the past few years it has gone mainstream. It's pretty much predictable at this point. But then again, it's still better to do a little bit of research than base your claims in past price trends.
This time the market is very much stable. This has made the cryptomarket to be much more stronger than other forms of investments. No need to think of market getting crashed, it is believed that the market will gain momentum to be above specific price forever. If that happens we can expect the price to be stand without any massive downward movement.
This wouldn't be for too long, remember the fact that we still haven't reached price correction yet. So this value's not the endgame value of bitcoin, January 2021 most likely will see the deumping of the coin, which will then give people the chance to invest in it.
1063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: prediction betting platform pros and cons? on: December 29, 2020, 07:55:45 PM
Prediction betting has got to be the most tedious and boring gambling game there has to be. You literally sit there for hours waiting on something with a pretty low chance of winning. That's why fantasy drafting was made in order to liven the prediction gambling scene by giving you the illusion of control. And even then it only worked for a short while. So yeah, I pretty much listed the biggest drawback of gambling on prediction betting.
1064  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are people buying BTC @ $27000+ idiots? on: December 28, 2020, 11:34:36 PM
In the words of a wise man, "the best time to invest is 10 years ago. The second best is now." So don't ridicule them just because they got in here later than us. If anything, we are like them in the past. Only we have been there far too early for the market to move, and so we reaped the benefits. Don't call them idiots or anything. Instead cheer them up and tell them to do what we did so they can earn as well.
1065  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Be Excited about the rise, be wary about the scams, and loss on: December 28, 2020, 11:14:51 PM
A really good heads-up and reality check for people who are into cryptocurrency for a quick buck which in theory is something that can be achieved. However, few are only able to take advantage of this. That being said, knowledge still would beat anything, so arm yourselves with it, and you're sure to thrive and survive in the cryptocurrency industry.
Scams can't be stopped 100%, there will still be some newcomers that aren't aware of all the scam methods these scammers have plotted. Scam like the ones on twitter are looking more legit, people now buy verified twitter account to post scam link. Such is very easy to believe.
I also received an email with a phishing link from a fake ledger email. I'll make a post on it
But people who get scammed can be lessened. As I have mentioned above, knowledge beats anything. Including scammers. So if you're a newbie to the industry yourself, please arm your selves with knowledge so you don't do the same mistakes we did in the past.
1066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: December 28, 2020, 10:48:53 PM
There are pro gamblers out there who make a living out of gambling in more ways than one. So many pros have been earning more on their fame than in their winnings on gambling, because being a pro only takes experience and ample game knowledge to put you at a little advantage over other players. But once lady luck stops being on your side, you're sure as hell screwed.
Haven't meet one, but i have lot of friends who loves to gamble but turned out to have a miserable life in the end. What my perspective if you're living through gambling, i think everyday is living at the edge for you. That path maybe full of hardships and loss, i can't imagine how one can feed their family through that lifestyle.
Cause no one is supposed to ever make a living out of gambling. Gambling is something you do to relieve yourself of the stress from the outside world, and not something to replace a regular job.
1067  Economy / Economics / Re: My bank account's got robbed by European Commission. Over 700k is lost. on: December 28, 2020, 10:29:40 PM
So you got taxated by the country you live in under circumstances you may not have been aware of. You may as well try to file a case because that is a big loss in my opinion. Athough what boggles me the most is how this works. Is Cyprus a Socialist country? Why is the rich being made fo pay for the country's tax like you're their mom or something?
1068  Economy / Economics / Re: All people in the real world still think everything is fine !!! on: December 27, 2020, 10:36:52 PM
If you're just telling people this and that without factual evidences, nobody is really going to take your claims seriously. In this world, evidences and proof is king. If you wanna be believed in, you gotta prove yourself first. This is also the case for these claims you may have been making this past few years, we understand your concern but mkae sure that your claims are at least backed with an evidence to support it.
1069  Economy / Economics / Re: Value Today of $1000 Invested 5 Years ago (Bitcoin and Stock) on: December 27, 2020, 10:22:20 PM
5 years is a heck of a long time and not everyone would have the chance or the liberty to keep their investments for that long. Let alone $1000 which in some countries are a huge sum of money. A volatility chsrt would justify the things I mentioned above. Although it does feel kinda bad that I hadn't held on to my coins and assets which could've raised me to the upstream by now. We do miss all the chances we do not take.
Comparing Bitcoin and Shopify,

If you had 1,000 USD 5 years ago, and as a person who seeks security, Bitcoin wasn't a viable option.  I'm basing it on an average person who works 8 hours a day.  Bitcoin was very volatile during those days and also, people don't know how it works and it was very new, immature.

But Shopify was very promising since day 1.  Because of the proof their competitors had and was most likely raised a lot of people to poverty
than Bitcoin. And on the other side, Bitcoin really is rewarding, but only for those who believed and knew the potential.
This too! Not everyone had the chance to even know bitcoin way back in 2010, and $1000 is a big amount of money, so they would most probably have used the money for something else.
1070  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can you really 'Sell High and Buy Low' in this 2020 BITCOIN Bull Run? on: December 27, 2020, 09:39:08 PM
It's because you are thinking ahead of the market. Foresight is definitely a good skill in trading but in some cases, especially like this. Predicting too much wouldn't do you any good. It's just cool that you were able to enjoy it since that is still a couple hundred dollars you might've lost. As most of the people say here, buy the dip and sell when high applies in the present stature of the coin, you only buy when it's relatively stable on a dip, and you sell when it is high.
I think its gonna be a while before we can buy at a low price again whales and Instituations are freezing their funds in their cold wallets so they are holding and with the price only going up some investers will start buying even at 28k so the demand is increasing day by day so i think we can even see the price at 40 or 50k.
Price correction is on the way, people should be able to get back in the bitcoin boat not too soon. Aside from that, us investors may get impatient and synthetically dump the coin perhaps at the 30k mark. Then again, we can't really predict what will happen.
1071  Economy / Economics / Re: David Rosenber: Bitcoin is in a 'massive bubble' on: December 27, 2020, 09:08:16 PM
A lot of people in the past have said thatbitciin is a bubble, but several dumps and crashes yet bitcoin had never even reached a critical point whereas most commodities did in the past. Heck, it even went down to $7000 and jumped right back in to itsregular pricing last March and not a lot of people batted an eye. That's because the real bubble is the vibe of the people towardsyour asset. If they are in for a quick buck, then best believe me that your coin is not gonna last long.
1072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Effective tips to maximize low wager slot games on: December 27, 2020, 08:23:12 PM
I'd, suggest sticking with it, farming on the same slot that you feel comfortable with. Although I wouldn't really suggest looking to earn on gambling sites as most of them have house advantage even in slots. But then again, if you are confident with your odds and is not worrying about losing too much money, I stand with my earlier suggestion, though keep in mind to always gamble in moderation.
1073  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin for “Fake Rich”? on: December 26, 2020, 11:51:07 PM
Bitcoin is not a status symbol. It is not meant to be something you'll be flaunting to people's faces everytime you got to a date. It is not something you'll be bragging your friends about in a bar. If anything, bitcoin is a means to earn more money for people who are wanting to get out of their tiresome 9-5 shifts and on to something that offers more potential to earn and be financially literate at the same time.
1074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What sites offer FREE Plays, FREE Spins, Free Bets - Lets make a list on: December 26, 2020, 11:37:49 PM
Most of the time these sites who offer free spins are set to ensure that these guys who don't spend have no chance in winning a good prize, sometimes even winning at all. But if you're still interested in getting those free spins or rolls, then I would, suggest either FortuneJack, or Riobet, which apparently is not a ripoff of Roobet despite the fact that it was literally dumped upon by people from this forum.
1075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk on Bitcoin: "Bitcoin is almost as bs as fiat money" on: December 26, 2020, 11:19:01 PM
Guess he was trolling yet again. A shitpost if you will, but it does have its own way of incurring impacts to the people investing in bitcoin. We even made a thread here just to talk about it.
Well, some free publicity from a celebrity of his caliber will boost the price significantly as it did already. We know he does use his Twitter to promote things in a very subtle way... like he did with his girlfriends band.  Roll Eyes

I doubt that he would bash Bitcoin for no reason at all, because he was a keen supporter of Crypto currencies a while ago and he even admitted that he received some Bitcoin from a friend. (He did not buy any... based on his previous social media statements.)  Roll Eyes
Hmm. You may also be correct in this, some form of ulterior move that urged him to tweet this or something. Whatever it is, it's working, not long ago we reached 25k and it's not showing any signs of stopping right now. We may as well ride on this wave to shake off the price a little just to correct it. But I digress, Elon is a very calculated man.
1076  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No price correction for bitcoin? Did it already happen? on: December 26, 2020, 11:01:32 PM
The market is yet to be completed as technically we are still in a bull run. That would be the reason why there is no price correction for bitcoin even as of late. But as soon as the market wraps up, we should see a significant fall on bitcoin's price but not something that would fall under the ranks of $10-13k. So let's just wait for it and everything will follow shortly after.
It depends on what time frames you are looking at but along the way there were some few small corrections thou right now we are still in an uptrend, if you expect a major correction, it will come afterwards, maybe after nearing or hitting $30K. Just make sure you are ready when it comes.
Precisely. OP may have been expecting the dump way back in 24k but we're already at 25 and still going strong. It's bound to happen guys, bitcoin is not omnipotent anyway. The signs are already there.
1077  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans are cheap good time to use loans for Investment in btc on: December 25, 2020, 09:11:51 PM
Bitcoin might be in a good spot right now. But you have to remember that you'll be paying that loan for at the very least 6 months after bitcoin's price settles down and drops in value. Weigh your decisions out before making a drastic move like that as it might make or break you. And ifyou can, stop using loans to buy bitcoin as it is as risky as it gets, you have little guarantee that you will earn mad bucks.
If the value of Bitcoin is low then it is a good time to invest. Many traders cannot invest due to lack of capital when the price is high, so if they take a loan, they will suffer a lot when the currency price falls. There is nothing to regret later. I have never taken a loan. It would be better to take a loan and invest according to my ability by setting the price of the currencies according to the market conditions. There is no fear of repaying the loan and there is a guarantee of a lot of profit if the price goes up.
You are partly rught but im my opinion taking a loan just to buy assets is a bit unconventional and may even become unhealthy for OP, remember that it is not your money you are using so the losses you incur will give you more psychological damage than having it from your own wallet.
1078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The biggest 10 countries that gamble the most. on: December 25, 2020, 08:29:56 PM
I'd say that the second graph makes more sense than the one that came before it. It shows US, being at the top considering the amount they pay for sweepstakes, and thr number of prestigious casinos in that country cemented their name as the gambling capital should give the graph justice. Although if it were for nationality we are talking about the first graph would also make sense. Really it's all about giving full context so we can give a more educated guess.
Would also be interesting to know the top 10 countries where people would gamble with bitcoins. only quite difficult to figure out. if gambling were regulated in america, you would see much larger numbers there.
That would be really hard and risky since it's basically selling your people's IP addresses. Otherwise how would you know if this person betting with bitciins, one of the most secure currencies in the world, is betting in Guatemala?
1079  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC next target 😉 on: December 23, 2020, 11:48:22 PM
Another ATH has been broken, and quite possibly, in the near future a number of ATH milestones to be achieved. I just don't see it happening this year or 2021,bitcoin will need time to recover, and with an expected price dump that will happen this year after the ATH, much like the one that happened last 2017, we can expect bitcoin being on a two to three year sleeping period before it breaks the market yet again.
1080  Economy / Economics / Re: genius idea to fix all economy best idea on: December 23, 2020, 11:18:30 PM
OP must have little knowledge of how supply and demand works, but to give you help, I'll put in an analogy.

You have kool aid as your people, and ice cold water as the money.

When you mix these two, you put in parts of water in relation to the number of packets of kool-aid you have. And that being said, there has to be a certain balance between the two to get that sweet taste that we came to know and love. Otherwise if we put too much money, which in this case is the water, it will make the taste bland and unenjoyable, you see where I'm going here?
