Why do Atheists Hate Religion?

So I see 2 threads of why islam hates people or why people hate Islam. I dont see the point of such a mundane debate based on religion any debate for or against religion would be stupid. Either you are stupid to believe what a prophet / god / divine entity said or you are stupid enough to believe you can change the minds of the bleak minded people who follow such a prophet / god / divine entity.

But since its fun let me initiate my own brand of 'why do' topic.

WHY DO ATHEISTS (like me) HATE RELIGION ?

Seriously what has to happen in a person's life for them to seriously give up hope on the one true everlasting brand (of religion) which their ancestors have followed for generations.

Everyone has their own story even I have mine, so lets hear some of it.

i am athiest, i do NOT hate religion
but you should NOT make assumptions that athiests HATE
as this clearly shows what athiests disagree with

People that follow religions are brainwashed to accept what is written,
or worse accept what they are told by man which usually differs from what is actually written.
There is no HATE towards anyone of any religion, HATE only comes from religions. (religions = wars)
If you want to be religious and live your life how someone else has told you, then that is your choice,
there is no hate towards you.

As an athiest i believe in myself only, if i have questions, then i find the answer by myself.

Now just because i am athiest also does not mean i am ignorant to religions, it just means i do not follow them.
i am not a fanboy of any religion.

all religious books do have some part in history IMO,
but the books are misinterprateted and have been misused by man in order to take control of populations.

too many discoveries that pre date religions are now uncovered and will soon need to be accepted by mainstream scholars,
which will contridict many religious beliefs

Actually, I have seen 3 Big Bang Theories that are different enough that they can't fit together. In addition, none of the 4 major Black Hole Theories fit in any of the Big Bang Universes described by the BB Theories.

Further, until someone can actually come up with a real time viewer, even if we came up with a hundred working BB Theories, they would all have to remain in the realm of the unknown until we could actually prove one of them to exist.

In addition, if all of those BB Theories were actual, potentially real universe beginnings, we still couldn't accept them until we could rule out everything else.

The scientific facts of cause and effect, universal entropy, and complex universe, combine to prove that God exists. We would have to rule out God, or definitely determine that He used Big Bang, before BB could be accepted as fact.

Worship the Big Bang, which is neither here nor there regarding our lives. Rather, forget the stupid thing and focus on something we have scientific proof for... God.

Besides, what truths aren't factual, and what facts aren't truthful?

- televangelists - need I say more?
- bible, quran, talmud - read those books to see what ridiculous shit they say

If your saying that everything has a cause then you mean your god has a creator too, and if not then your argument does undergo special pleading. It somehow contradicts your statement that an uncause cause should exist in your argument everything has a cause.
