Enjoy your luck to be alive like if you had a chance on a trillion of quadrillions to be born, since those were more or less your odds. There is no such thing as luck and odds. Everything was caused by something else according to the mandates of whatever caused it to be the way that it is. Every particle and wave of energy in the universe acts as a reaction from something else acting on it. And the something-else acted as it did because of yet some other thing acting on it, etc., all the way back to the Beginning. Everything operates by cause and effect. There is no random, odds, or luck. Make the most of life like if it was a single drop of water tumbling on your lips on an infinite desert.
And the best way to do this is to seek the Creator Who set all the cause and effect actions in motion. When you seek Him, He will reward you for looking for the truth of Him. He will let you find Him when you seek Him with all your heart. Value every day of it as if you were on a death row waiting for your turn, because you are; you just have a wonderful cell.
And do it by seeking the Creator... the One who made everything and upholds it through cause and effect. Life is scientifically impossible, except that it is here. Even so, the resurrection from death will be made possible by the Creator, the One who made this impossible-to-exist life in the first place. You think your real life is going to start with your death? Really?
From death, better expect nothing more than nothing, eternal.
Repent, believers, turn atheists, before is too late!
Repent, you atheism believers, and look at the fact that science proves God exists. Call to God, and He will answer you. Join with the Christian believers to be raised by God to life everlasting. Do it now, because if you die, you will not be able to change yourself to faith in God afterward, and eternal life will be lost to you.

Interesting how the cash of the poor always ends up in the coffers of the religion keepers - the sophisticated wealthy ones who 'act' as gods themselves with their insatiable lust for more and more, while preying on the emotions of the 'lost' poor and draining them till all is gone and they die.

Religious people like to make false analogies... like the coca-cola can having a creator means humans must have a creator... no it doesn't I don't even understand the part about, "Could it be that the atheist can't find god for the same reason a thief can't find a policeman?" That's an even worse analogy... I don't understand why a thief would have trouble finding a policeman... and nobody has "found god"... atheist or theist... god is very good at hide and seek... he's the best... he's been hiding since before time, and nobody has managed to find him

In America, among Christian religions, money is not generally taken from the poor by force. Rather, the poor donate it to God, to continue the work of spreading God's word. This doesn't mean that the money is always used in a right way. But the point is that God's Word is spread, and along with it, salvation. God rewards the poor who give, in all kinds of ways for their generosity and love. And, they will end up with eternal life, which is way more important. Those who spread Gods Word directly - the religious leaders - are doing a great and wonderful work. They deserve to get paid just like anyone else who works. And since this work is saving souls for eternal life, it is the best work there is, and should be rewarded accordingly. It's too bad that some religious leaders are drawn away towards the things of wealth and this life, and start to use the wealth improperly. If they don't change, they will be punished for this, by God.

All problems are human problems, even the religion ones.In medieval times church [Christian] and state were so fused, you couldn't divide them on a hair breadth. Guess what happened then? Enlightenment happened.... lol Scientific breakthrough after breakthrough. So church authority diminished as science showed flaws in church [Christian] worldview. State gradually became sole official tax collector (because of separation of state and church) (but not solely in actuality; church continued as well (but now on its own), more cunningly, I would say). Church "authority" kept on diminishing as science kept on progressing more and more. The God-of-the-Gap type of belief system is in grave danger if you ask me. Better revolutionize God concept, and thereby revolutionize spirituality and piety than cling to something that will never ever be the same again - thankfully, I might add. All problems are human problems, even the religion ones.

Better revolutionize God concept, and thereby revolutionize spirituality and piety than cling to something that will never ever be the same again - thankfully, I might add. All problems are human problems, even the religion ones. Actually, it is science that is in grave danger. Science has produced many of the conveniences of life... through scientific engineering, of course. We would like science to remain so that it can produce many more good things for us. Science is at its pinnacle, however, and beginning to crumble. Why? Simply because scientists had no way to disprove God, and the more they tried, the more they proved His existence. Scientists don't talk about this very much. But the fact is, the more science attempts to discover the great, hidden wonders of the universe, the more they prove the existence of God. This is why science has turned to theory. In science theory, scientists put together a bunch of science facts (and sometimes non-facts) as a new way to look at the combination of facts. Then they develop a conclusion about the theory. Often this conclusion suggests that the theory is fact, even though it is not proven to be fact. People are seeing through this science deception. They are realizing that often the so-called science fact is based on what the scientists would like rather than on the truth. Graham Hancock is one of those who has discovered this in the field of archaeology. Donald E. Scott, Ph.D., and many others are finding out that stars are electrical in nature, and not atomic. Brian Cox has shown that Quantum Mechanics is pure probability, and that it can give no proven answers answers to anything alone, because it can give completely contradicting answers to everything. And there are many more. Science as we know it is breaking down as the source for all knowledge. Why? Because many famed scientists have built and explained science according to their hopes and dreams rather than according to the truth.

As meaning-making creatures, humans often tell stories to shape the meaning they create. All meaning for all humans is narrative in nature. Religion stories are usually quite good in the meaning it creates. The meaning is created when it is read as words, sentences, paragraphs and chapters - all in ink on paper but nowadays also on digital media. Important though, to remember, is that the meaning is created because it is told as a narrative. We all love stories - in fact we live by stories every single day.

Is a vocation a religion in your idiolect? No point to argue with this imbecile. By his reasoning, study of bridges is a sect of civil engineer's religion. Never mind cosmologist studying black holes... He redefines common English terms to fit his skewed worldview. He is delusional and he knows it, but he tries to convince himself that he is not by inventing "new scientific" terminology and attacking people who point out obvious holes in his "biblical science". How silly you have become. Don't you realize that anybody who studies bridges, and then adamantly believes stuff that is blatantly not true about the bridges he has studied, especially in the face of being shown that it is not true, has a religion going for himself? His religion might not be a dangerous one, he may not be harmful to himself or others, and people would not even recognize, generally, that he had a religion going. But according to the definition of religion in the dictionaries, that is what he has. Since you like to express faith in meanings of words that are not dictionary accurate, and then pick on people who use correct definitions, everyone can tell that your formal religion must be totally wrong, just like your informal anti-dictionary religion.
