I believe that weapons should not be available for sale. It is bad when it may even buy children. The government should prohibit the free carrying of weapons
Already the case, and we see the violent criminals' utopia/dystopia that results.

No, thank you. After what Hitler and Stalin and many others (over 6) did after the gun control method, I prefer not to do it..... It's the way I'm at least sure I have my self defense assured. Taking my gun is like taking my armor off. Do you really think terrorism will disappear after taking our guns? No. It's just them still being there and us without protection.

Sell them 3-D printers so they can make their own guns. After all, nobody will bother to look at the printers coming into Europe until everyone has one.

IMO, people should be given the choice whether whey want to own a fire-arm or not. In places like Texas, where home invasions are very common, the possession of a fire-arm can save many lives. However, the government should make it impossible for people with a criminal record, and those with mental issues from obtaining fire-arms.
Crazy to give weapons impossible. And criminals do not use legal weapons. Free people have guns. Where citizens have weapons crimes less.

Shouldn't the Presidential Debate Ask About Guns We Already Have? One political party—the Democrats' party—is champing at the bit to win the election, so they can go about outlawing firearms they don't like, which is basically all the good guns we already have. The ones police and the public prefer because they're the best for everyday decent legal use.
Outlawing firearms that are legal is infringement.
There, it's out in the open.
You can't declare property Americans have and can own, and just get away with it. It doesn't matter how much you justify it and rationalize it or lie and call it common sense or safety. It is none of that.
No matter how much you want to reduce crime or rid the world of hate, banning the public's property, when it comes to guns, is infringement by its very nature, and won't work. It's what King George tried to do that set off the American Revolution. Do Democrats really want to go there? What do you want to achieve? Prohibit free carrying of weapons won't stop terror or crime. Yes, but don't we need gun control to help keep the population down? If you check the records of the 20th century (the 1900s) you will find that probably more than 200,000,000 people were killed by their own governments. If this hadn't been done, think of how large the population of the world would be today... 10 billion? 12 billion? More? So, we need gun control to keep the population down so that there will always be a small enough number of people in the world that world agriculture can support us all, right?

Gun control?
You should use 2 hands.
As soon as the Americans will lose the right to weapons, dramatically increase the crime. Only Colt equalize their chances. Remember that only a free person has the right to arms. A slave has no such right.

I love when criminals get shot by people protecting themselves. Like that restaurant manager this week, killed one of three robbers. So I'm all for guns, the problem is that for every story like that, there are more people who kill someone accidentally, or because of a fit or rage that would have just simply passed by. Other than that, we still need it for those who did end up protecting themselves.
The problem with unsafe, accidental shootings is that people don't practice safety. The reason they don't practice safety is that guns are not the accepted standard as they once were. If guns in the hands of all people were the standard, there would be much more gun safety after a hundred years of it. So, lets all get more guns, and wear them open carry all over the place, so that we make gun safety the priority in life. Personally I don't think it matters how knowledgeable of gun safety people are, all it takes if for one really stress out person to lose it and shoot someone in a moment of anger.

Having a gun is really not a must unless you're a police or in a military force. I just can't imagine why most of the people specially those who have money and connections need a gun, for what purposes do they need it? For self protection? I don't think so. Most of the people having a gun nowadays is not just using it for self protection basis only instead they are using it for them to be fear by other and the most unwanted thing that can happen when someone have a gun is that he might use it for shooting someone just because he have a grudge on someone or he can use it for illegal use, I mean those people who have a license on carrying a gun something like that even though they are not in the military or something. It's also true that many people nowadays have guns in an illegal way that is mostly being use in a bank robbery, killing innocent people and etc.

Having guns is a MUST. The threat of people having guns is part of what keeps cops and the military in line. EDIT: Robbing banks and killing innocent people is unlawful. But if there isn't any statute or code against it, it might not be illegal. Is there such statute or code? For example. Cops are not illegal when they kill innocent people. If they were, they would wind up in prison or executed. The reason that they are safe from punishment is that people try to prosecute them for doing something illegal. But there isn't any statute or code against them killing innocent people, so they are not doing anything illegal, and you can't win in prosecution for them doing something illegal. On the other hand, if folks would prosecute them for doing something unlawful, even the cops would be in prison. But as it stands, the people don't even know the difference between illegal and unlawful.

And all it takes is 1 to demonstrate the proper defensive response to the commission of a capital offense (no matter the tool used by the aggressor), but "gun control" ensures the number of defenders is 0 "by law". Having a gun is really not a must unless you're a police or in a military force.
You really shouldn't incriminate yourself by advocating the #1 prerequisite for genocide, where the ICC can see you.

I am a European. I cannot understand why Americans want to have so many people owning guns.
The biggest massacre involving guns happened in Europe. It occurred in a country, which is having one of the toughest gun control laws (Norway) in the world. A lunatic called Anders Behring Breivik was single-handedly able to mow down a total of 77 people, and the policemen present at the scene could not do anything, as they were not armed. Guns do not kill. Kill the people who sent this weapon. Enough idiots everywhere, but that doesn't mean that banning weapons will help. On the contrary.

Gun rights enables people to protect their lives and property. It is impossible to restrict this right even though it may hurt at least one person.

It seems to me that no one will tighten monitoring of compliance with gun regulations. They're just so attracted to the voices of those who are against weapons, but they lose the voices of others.

I strongly agree that the use and possession of weapons should be regulated. not everyone can be accountable for his actions. social inequality will happen if the weapons are not controlled centrally and integrated.
