This test match between India and Australia is evenly matched at the moment and it's still anyone's game to win. I was right about Australia making 450+ runs and like I said Smith was the key to Australia making 451 along with a great innings by Maxwell. Today will be an interesting day in the test match as now Australia need some early wickets or else we could see India make 500+ as the current Indian batsman look comfortable at the crease so Australia need to bowl well and restrict India to around 400 runs, remember Australia is without their key strike bowling in Strac so it will be interesting to see if his replacement Cummins can step up and take a few more wickets.
If India makes 500+ runs in this innings, then most likely match may end in a draw because to score another 400 runs India has to play today whole day and maybe tomorrow as well. For the second innings to play only left with less than two days. If pitch turns to support spinners, then it may be a different story otherwise mostly match may end in a draw.

New Zealand is struggling in the second innings with 106 and lost 5 wickets and they now have a small lead of only 15 runs and with plenty of time left in this match it looks like South Africa will win the match easily, what a turn around in this match after South Africa was struggling at one stage in the first innings.New Zealand has to bat for longer periods if they want to save this match and with five wickets gone it is looks like SA will win by the fifth day.

Yeah it's actually looking like it may well end in a draw as India don't look to be in a hurry to score runs. Pujara has faced 74 balls for his 19 runs and Vijay 135 balls for his 50 runs so this shows they are in no hurry at all so it's looking like a draw to me unless Australia can get some quick wickets and put India under pressure and then maybe it won't be a draw. Also depends on how well the pitch plays on days 4 and 5 if it starts to break up and be difficult to bat on.

Kohli has come out to bat which is a great sign for India but he must be careful because as VVS suggested he may cause major problems for himself if he doesn't take proper rest . This match will end as draw according to me as both teams aren't rushing things and Indians are playing way too slowly.

South Africa won the match against New Zealand in three days,Keshav Mahara took 6 wickets in their second innings to fold them for a mere 171 runs and leaving South Africa to just need 83 runs to win the match and chased the score easily just losing two wickets. India is still trailing by 245 runs with 8 wickets remaining as they lost both their openers and with Pujara and Kohli in the crease i think they can build a good partnership.

When today's session ends we can conclude the match result. Because in the final session of the days wicket fall takes place in most of the innings. Already India is trail by more than 200 runs. Losing wickets at this time too is an advantage for Australia to take the match under their control.

Kohli is back in the dressing room as he holed out in the second slip and Cummins took his second wicket. The pitch could be different in the final two days as it might help the spinners a lot and they are playing really well at the moment as we need to build some good partnership and reduce the lead and a really bad session would determine the fate of the game and so they have to bat sensible.

India still trail by 183 runs but they are trying to build a good partnership with Cheteshwar Pujara nearing his century and Ajinkya Rahane in the crease and if they could put on an amazing performance then it will be a good match as the pitch might wear down later in the innings which will make it difficult to bat later on.

South Africa won the test match within three days which was rather surprising as i thought New Zealand would play better in the second innings and they fell short to a spinner in this pitch. India vs Australia looks like they are playing in a flat wicket after having three terrible wickets which is not at par with international standards and now they offer a dead flat pitch so that no result is achieved .

Sri Lanka seem to be struggling against Bangladesh. Not only did they concede the first innings lead, they have lost wickets in a heap in the second innings. Current score is 200/6. If they don't set a target of at least 150 runs for Bangladesh, it will be a gift to Bangladesh on their 100th test match.

Indians are catching up to the huge score and I'm so happy to see Pujara score 100+ and the team is able to give The Aussies a tough fight. Virat should have really stayed back and let another player take his place. I knew that he couldn't perform but he just gave away his wicket for 6 runs. Only if they manage to make the 125 required runs, they can again put up a score of 100-150 for Aus to defend and then chase down their runs in the next innings. Since time is less, I wonder if they can have 2 more innings.

It looks like Bangladesh has an upper hand in this test match and if they could restrict the Srilanakan team pretty soon and i hope they could chase anything in the fourth innings which is within 150 runs,Srilanka is just having a lead of 83 runs and four wickets remaining,Karunaratne is still in the crease with a century and he is playing brilliantly, despite all this facing Herath in this pitch in the fourth innings is a difficult tast but they can win it if they fight hard.

Day 4 session 2 changed everything around in Bangladesh v SL , great bowling by Mushfiqur and Shakib which put them in the driver seat . If SL can't survive till lunch break then Bangladesh will take this one away from them . Odds for draw is 8.2 and I am gonna take risk and place on it.

I would suggest against doing so because Srilanka cannot survive the morning session with tail end batsmen in the crease and the only possible result will be Bangladesh could win the match from this situation or Herath would bowl a dream spell and bowl them out and the morning session will determine how the match will end but i am sure it wont end up being a draw unless there is a weather intervention.

I second that. SL has only 2 wickets left and with bowlers batting, they won't be able to add even 50 more runs and then Ban can easily chase down those runs (which may be 175-180 max) and win the match. Draw possibilities are very less as only if the weather is bad or the SL team continues to get over 100 runs (which is almost impossible at this point), the match would have a result.

So we have to wait and see on the 4th day of the 3rd test, it is going to be very crucial for both the teams.

Yeah, the wickets of Ashwin and Rahane were really silly ones and Rahane should have let go of that ball but instead chose to play it and get out. Even Jadeja doesn't seem to be in form to score runs and with Pujara being alone on the field, 451 seems out of reach but if they play well and Saha helps in scoring runs, we can expect them to reach the target as getting extra runs is not possible. We still have 2 days so there is enough time for both teams to manage to have 2 innings.
