BCCI earns alot from IPL still they keep an eye on associate nations share which is not a good thing. BCCI dont want more tests teams since that will destroy the supremacy of BCCI in cricket. We need more nations in cricket, BCCI must help its neighbor Nepal to join as Test team.

Rather than adding more nations why not focus of increasing the quality of cricket among the nations which are already playing cricket?
Even the old teams like Bangladesh, West Indies , Zimbabwe performances are not as they should be and we have only 3 to 5 teams which are considered to be strong team in world cricket.

I think ICC has nothing to do in this regard. But if their nominated persons are aware then some progress can be expected in this concern. The condition of Bangladesh, West Indies, Zimbabwe is like that, but in recent times, Zimbabwe cricket has come up in a better position than before. It can be said that their cricket has improved a lot.

That is correct - although they managed to take the Butlers wicket at early stage - later they tried to build some pressure but in the end stokes took the match from their hand. Sam  also performed well. But yesterday was not Pakistan day. It was the golden opportunity they missed after approx 30 years.

Well, why do you think that only Pakistan had the dream of winning the title and becoming champions? England was also playing for the title and they played better cricket and deserve this title.    They held their emotions in this big match and were well rewarded.

Pakistanis and Indians are very emotional by nature and they are crazy about cricket too - there is no doubt about it.
But loosing the match is very heartbreaking incident for Pakistani fan but they are happy at least their team came so far.

It was mixed performance from the Pakistan team. Before the tournament started, Pakistan was one of the favorites to win the world cup. They had a terrific triangular series in New Zealand, where they whitewashed not just the hosts, but Bangladesh as well. But then they lost the match against India in the Super-12 stage. The lowest point was when they lost a close match against Zimbabwe. In the initial stages, both Babar Azam and Rizwan failed to get runs, and it really impacted the overall team performance.

Pakistan should be happy with what they got. Given their unpredictable performance (for example, the loss against Zimbabwe), they were quite lucky that some of the other matches went in their way (big thanks to the Dutch  ). Coming in to the tournament, they had perhaps the best batsmen and bowler in T20 cricket (Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi). But then, they couldn't keep up with the expectations. The good thing was that Babar regained his form when it mattered the most. But in the end, England proved to be a much better team (even without Mark Wood).

And then Babar regained his form when it mattered the most. But the team balance was not there. One or the other component was always performing poorly. Pakistan has been playing extremely good cricket before world cup ,recently Pakistan won triseries against Newzealand and Bangladesh and before that Pakistan won in T20 series against England  and before that Pakistan was the runner up in Asia Cup (Sirlanka won) . So no one can say that Pakistan is a weak team and its batsman are not performing, yes there comes a time in all cricketers life in which they perform badly or you can say out of form so that is their time now. Some of the pacers, such as Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf can bat a bit, but they can't be considered as all rounders. This is one component where Pakistan have been lagging. They need someone like Cameroon Green of Australia.

Furthermore as we discuss about Pakistan’s cricket it’s pertinent to note that PCB has started issuing legal notice’s to former player’s who have said harsh stuff about PCB or the team, so what do you’ll think about this move by PCB.

Why can't these guys just focus on the game? I have massive respect for Rameez Raja. He completely changed cricket setup in Pakistan ever since he took over as the PCB chairman. Obviously there are some jealous people who suffer from sour grapes complex, and they have made very disparaging statements about Rameez. Anyway, now Kamran Akmal need to reply to the legal notice. And this may get bigger. From what I have heard, Rameez is planning to send legal notices to a few other ex-players, who made defamatory remarks against him. BTW, was Kamran Akmal a part of a world cup winning squad at least once?

PCB first motive should be to work on the improvement of their players overall and their health and diet conditions,  recently all of us know Shaheen Shah Afridi suffered a knee injury and according to sources he covered his all medical expenses himself along with his treatment procedure in London which was somehow responsibility of PCB to own its players as they are people who bring pride and medals for you from all over the world.
