Just think about 15 years ago there wasn't even normal internet, we connect through dial-ups for 56k. 15 years is a very long time considering how fast technology changes. Bitcoin is the new form of money so it might not replace but it become a very good alternative to dollar by masses soon.
There is no way to believe bitcoin could replace a giant fiat currency dollar.
But I could agree with your opinion about bitcoin possible to be a good alternative for dollar.

agree for now only matter, bitcoin has become an alternative way to pay for something. so bitcoin just need more well-known to be increased exist. no need to remove or beat fiat, to survive.
bitcoin could be beside fiat

May be in future it can replace dollar, but the chances are very rare, as dollar is more  popular in compare to bitcoins, but anything is possible in this tech advanced world.

It cant! Bitcoin needs to be physically seen. Just think of what is happening now. We are not growing as a full blast community. And why is that. Because people wants something that they can touch. Something they can hold on to.

Yeah, that is correct, people will have more faith in bitcoins if they can touch it, hold it in their physical wallet, but I don't see it would be happening in any time.
You can't touch the money in a credit card. I don't see why we still use it then. Hardware wallets are as close to physical as you can get. Then there are the people worrying about hackers. Credit card accounts get hacked all the time, amirite? You wake up and every month there's "credit card infos leaked" on tv. WAKE UP, PEOPLE.

Yeah, but the reason is people are used to credit cards and they find it more easy and convenient to use it and the other reason is people don't know about bitcoins and how to use it.

After all bitcoins will be mined, and no bitcoins would be lost, there would still be only 21 million. That's not enough for a world economy. Something fundamental would have to change and if there would be more bitcoins, their value would drop. Still no good.

I think it will take a while for bitcoin the replace the dollar.
It can surely happen, but would take a lot of time, many aren't ready for such a change, bitcoin can't handle the world economy.

I don't think that bitcoin can replace dollar, bitcoin still needs a great support from the community across the globe and if that happens then it can replace dollar in future.

Yes I think the dollar will be replaced by the bitcoin but it will take some time and the bitcoin needs to get bigger.
Although its gonna be very difficult because the banks are hating the bitcoin because its untraceable and self controllable.

Yes banks will never stand in support of bitcoins, as bitcoin is the toughest competitor they are facing and would be more hard for banks to survive in future if bitcoin gets on the mainstream.

Ignorance is not an excuse in this case. I guess the major factor behind credit cards sill being top payment method is that 'old habits die hard'.
Sometimes I wish bitcoin were backed by a company - this way everyone would be familiar with it by now because TV and media would be filled with bitcoin's ads.

I do not see this happen at all, you have to keep in mind that the bitcoin is now still dependent on the global currency's, I do not see it happen soon maybe in about 5 years its possible.
The bitcoin is a good currency's but has some downsides as a example the bad name it has and also the thing that banks are hating on it.

Nope that cant happen. Maybe after 20 years or something. Many people doesnt even know what Bitcoin is and that is difficult to replace it.
First you must learn them how Bitcoin works and than you can replace it. So maybe later in the future.

That's not possible dollar will always rule the world even if the value of bitcoin reaches the moon, majority of the population would still go with dollars as they are using it since a longer period of time.

I don't think bitcoin will ever replace the US dollar.  That doesn't mean that I don't think bitcoin will last, I just think there's a place for both of them.

That's true the traditional and older generation would always prefer to use dollar and the younger generation would start using bitcoins, both will survive and both holds a great future ahead.

Yes but dollar is more popular and it will continue its stardom in future too, as I don't think that any crypto can replace a strong currency like dollar, hard to believe.

Yeah dollar is more popular at a moment and in future it will never loose its shine the people who are using dollar since long time would stick to dollar for sure.

Maybe the bitcoin will become very popular in the future,
But replacing a very popular fiat currency is really hard.
I believe that both e-currencies will be used online but no replace in the near future.
