The bitcoin can replace the dollar but only with the help of the banks other wise its not gonna happen.
I think we just have to hold our bitcoins and wait till the time for it, it will take a lot of time if you ask me.

The main reason why it wont replace is because the inflation has to drop the same as fiat or even better and stay at zero.

And in this case it wont ever happen because bitcoins inflation right now is at 8%, if you do some homework you can see the stats including the circulation w. missing coins included.

And the us dollar is a stronger fiat which is why you see still noticed globally, unlike smaller countries.

A commodity I think. That will be a big part of the world of investment. In line with Gold, oil and copper that is a great move if that will happen and be accepted by the community. But for now, we need to establish the good side for it have been bad in the past.

No that will not happen soon. I hope later that more people will of course use Bitcoin, but many people doesnt even know what Bitcoin is.

Even if it gets more popular in future, we will always find many users that will use dollar only, as dollar is more popular then bitcoin and it is accepted everywhere.

But the major fact is we don't know whether bitcoin will survive that long or not, as dollar is concerned we are pretty sure that it will exist still many years to come, So I don't think that bitcoin can replace dollar.

Well said it won't happen as above mate said. Only way to overcome dollar is just keep on growing as the dollar grew slowly. Dollar took a lot years to reach this place. So bitcoin will need atleast half the time of dollar to reach the level of dollar.
