Don't trust BFL just because they are willing to refund you your money. Refusing refunds would make the scam too obvious. The largest ISK scam in EVE Online history would refund your money if you asked for the refund. I got my 500 million isk back from them just days before they decided to take the money and run.

BFL has scam written all over it. Look at how long it took Avalon to get their shit together and look at BFL. BFL is either a complete scam or is ran by people who have not even the slightest clue what they're doing.

My name was simply a play on "Blue Engineer" from Team Fortress. I am not affiliated with Microsoft or the Azure project.

Maybe they just need to do some more testing before mass production starts.

Or maybe they launched pre-orders too soon.

So I'm guessing it would be better now to not buy one or at least hold of on getting one.

With all of the 'issues' they are having it is surprising they are still open to pre-orders.

It was a bit scary to submit a pre-order, glad I got in in before they raised prices. If it is a scam, I hope my wife doesn't find out  Wink

hahahaaaa.

at the end of the day, ive never known a pre-order where they take your money first.
except if they're building you a car by hand.

i mean who's NOT going to want one of these, so what's the point in taking the money before shipping?
THATS the thing setting alarm bells off.
then when i inquire about shipping numbers...BANNN!

and address....
the shipping address given for trade-ins is an AL Huber contractors office.

(no idea if they're still doing this)
then you got the second method of upgrade from FPGA-ASIC which they promoted whereby you give them 20-500 BTC to hold onto while your FPGA`s are in the mail.
[dont even understand that one]

then under the jobs section;

We're currently seeking applicants for the following positions:
Engineer - Mandarin language skills (Must live in Asia)
Engineer - North America
Communications Director - North America
--------------------------------------------

i cant even find the company registered in WHOLE of north america.

I don't think it's a true scam but they have absolutely no way of meeting demand right now.  Everyone's always impatient but they've got thousands of preorders and they don't have a ton of employees.  I'm sure these things take awhile to build and stuff.

They won't turn down preorders since they're getting $ obviously but they probably should; they're likely getting more preorders even now then items they can ship out.

There definitely is a chance that the orders now never get filled though.

Exactly, posted this a while ago how it is crazy how they are still allowing pre-orders.

I'm guessing that it is a Jalapeño?  If you can find out his order date, that would be great information for us.

With regards to it being complex to set up, is he completely new to bitcoin?  It should be very easy to get going with any of the miner software that currently supports it.
