So now the dream match up, Djokovic vs Nadal in the finals. I will go with Nadal, this is his surface and just in time for him to peak. I will say Nadal by 2:0, hope there's no more rain delay.

Nadal is the favourite base on the betting odds, and Djokovic could be tired as well because he has to go to Tsitsipas and then comeback to beat Sonego in three sets. So my prediction is that Nadal will also win in 2 sets, 6-4, and then 7-6.

I am going against the popular opinion on this one. I watched Djoko yesterday and he was unbelievably good in some patches of the match. I believe he has more than enough to take at least one set and it pays better than Nadal victory. I even have Djoko to win for small stake, Nadal is not his usual self so far on clay. Should be a good match however it ends.

I'm tailing you on this one mate, ML is very attractive for Djokovic @2.75 so I'm throwing a small bet as well so let's see how it goes.

To be honest, I haven't watch any games because of time difference, but him coming back on the brink of defeat against Tsitsipas? that's unbelievable, I'm also not buying that Djokovic will be tired because of back to back matches. He has been in this situation before.

It should be an enjoyable match because the level is close, the challenge is high, and the competition will be for the Roma Masters Championship title.
Nadal have a chance equal the number of Djokovic Championships in the Masters and the bookies think that Nadal left hand is going to help him in the clay ground that he prefers, it have been 25 meetings the two and 18 of them won buy Nadal.
and yes i think that Nadal will win in 3rd set.

The women's section final, it looks like Swiatek will easily win the match against Pliskova, the first set winning 6-0. Their first meet was last year on clay and it had to last 3 sets but apparently not for this game.

Wasn't able to watch one of the matches in this tournament, but also placed a handicap bet on Djokovic based on your input. Not a fan of Djokovic, but will, for once, be happy when he wins lol  .

I wanted to play on Swiatek but odds were very low so I skipped, I guess bookies saw it coming. You don't see bicycle every day and especially against player Pliskova who is usually very solid on her serve.

Big congrats to my fellow country men Pavic/Mektic on another title, they really took doubles tour as their own playground this season. Nobody came even close to their results. I was always wondering why they aren't playing together before.

And now starts the main event, players just worming up while I am writing this. Hope for a 3 setter and lots of good tennis.

I also think and hope that nadal wins against djokovic. Both players are absolute legends and without a doubt in the top 5 of all time greats (Federer is No. 1 obviously) but i think on that surface nadal should still have the advantage. I also have to say that i did not really like the way djokovic behaved in the last few weeks and months on the court with his complaining all the time. So i would indulge it nadal more.
1-1 so far after two sets.. Momentum should be on Djokovics side now after he won the second set with 6-1.

Big congrats to my fellow country men Pavic/Mektic on another title, they really took doubles tour as their own playground this season. Nobody came even close to their results. I was always wondering why they aren't playing together before.

6 trophies and 3 master trophies this year, and still very likely to increase because there are still about 4 more masters tournament, and of course it will be more complete if they can win the GS, this is a great achievement for them.

Every time one of the big three wins a title there will be a new record, and it will be even more difficult for a young player to surpass the big three records.

Both really play great tennis, I thought that there will be an upset when Djokovic took the second set and it seems that Nadal doesn't have any answer. And Djokovic made the match more exciting to me, although I lost my bet.

Nadal is still at his prime, maybe it will take years before someone can really challenge him in clay court.

I had a strong feeling that Iga would win the encounter, especially after she dismantled 2 great opponents in Svitolina and Gauff in straight sets. I was expecting better from Pliskova though but Iga's defensive prowess and the ease with which she moves around on clay surface definitely came in handy. Pliskova anyways, is a tall hard court player who likes to hit winners by going for corners, not that easy on clay but surprisingly, she did it consistently enough to reach the finals. Too easy for the current French Open champion though.

Since Leicester won the EPL in 2015-16 season, the bookmakers have regressed when it comes to giving out massive odds. Even though the actual odds of that even to happen would be about 60-70x, the book makers are giving at best 36x for 6-0 scoreline(from what Ive seen). You will never find the odds of 5000x that was given for Leicester to win the league after that season. they have reduced max odds to hundreds instead of thousands. Which in a way discourages gamblers to put money on very unlikely events.

French Open will be a big test for Swiatek now, but with the strength of her winning this tournament, she will be one of the favorites together with Rafa.

The young generation is coming closer and closer but they need to take the next step. If Thiem could reach the final of the French Open again and win it against Nadal, than the turnaround is really started.

Oh yes, both Swiatek and Rafa had super games, cant believe Pliskova had two Bagels,
her service wasnt working well at all. Swiatek though was very very strong, great performance.

Rafa had a tough one though, I really thought after the second set that Djokovic was in
the ascendancy but Rafa fought hard to get back and win.

While on the ladies side we have Iga Swiatek who was the 15th seed won Karolina Pliskova 6 love 6 love close to a reverse scoreline against her twin sister,

for a final this was a ruthless score line perhaps lack of respect to some degree from the teenager, i guess age is everything in a game of sport.

Wow, nice win of Swiatek! This must be one of the one-sided finals of the last few years.

That's the worst result for a tennis player and this at a WTA 1000 final -> unbelievable!!!

As clearly as Djokovic won the second set, so stronger Nadal fight back in the third set. Nadal is simply a class of its own on the sand, also Rome has Nadal won 10 times.

Maybe the bookies favorites Sinner's to win in this match based on his ranking, Sinner is higher than Karatsev, at their first meeting Karatsev won 3 sets on surfaces hard, like you said this match very likely for 3 sets Karatsev is a pretty tough opponent for Sinner.
