Thiem will play the come back at Madrid to be fit for the French open, I'm curious whether he could recover well after the last low and the injury. I hope he find his way back to his old strength.

i would try to stay away from betting on him to win, at least for now in Madrid, i've seen a lot of player who comeback from an injury or a longtime rest get eliminated on the first rounds, i think avoiding him would be the best, and why not bet on his opponents.

At least he won his first match after coming back from injury, it could be a good sign for him, even more Clay is court which suits him.

his next match would be against another youngster, Alex De minaur, i am guessing he could cause some troubles for thiem, it won't be that easy, he's good fighter in every point, his defense skills are really good, i think he can win a set easily.

Alex De Minaur is a A-ok player, so I think he will give Thiem a good fight here.

But I don't think there will be an upset here, Thiem's favourite is the clay court, so probably he will take this 2 sets. But still a good game in the making. This is a good tournament as more rank players in the men's side are advancing, top seed vs top seed going into the finals.

I have some juicy odd wins last night:



Thanks to Karatsev and Medvedev who didn't allow any upsets on them.

Nice and interesting match, let's see if I can manage to win again with more attractive parlay odds.

Good win for you mate, you are lucky that Karatsev and Medvedev is mentally though, even though they are down 1 set, they manage to comeback easily Karatsev against Schwartzman. Although its noticeably that Diego is now inconsistent, while Karatsev is really showing good tennis in the last couple of months.

Karatsev will be facing Bublik next. Thiem and De Minaur will be fun to watch. Another one is Tsitsipas vs Casper Ruud.

So I wouldn't be surprised if he enters the quarter finals and be the giant killer again.

Bit of a top tier slaughter house today in the mens games, lost on my Rublev bet.
Medvedev and Tsitsipas out also, I was thinking they would be too close to put bets on
but I really thought Rublev was safe, looked like a close match with 2 Tie Breaks.

Beretini and Zverev came trough in the late matches but both had some scares, could have easily been 3 sets. I watched Tsitsipas and he was good today but made a couple of unforced errors in key moments. Ruud was very solid whole match and his serve + forehand combo was working flawlessly.

Looking forward to see if Thiem will be able to break Isner tomorrow. I'll probably take Isner on some handicap, I don't see him loosing the serve more than once in the match.

Thiem is looking good and gaining more and more match fitness from the couple
of 3 setter matches, and gaining more and more confidence and positivity,
he is on the up.

Well done to Isner too after a tough one with Rublev, that match was not easy.

I agree, I doubt that anyone who survived will have a chance to win against Nadal, it will be a big test for Zverev.

I took some risk, most concern on Berrittini vs Delbonis match, I thought that Berrittini will blast Delbonis early and I was wrong. So when I saw the score is going to a tie break, I said to myself that I have a good chance to win my bet. Over 21.5

I will give Barty to won the Madrid Open in 3 sets as well, it will be a tough match but I think Barty has the tools to defeat Sabalenka. Both will be coming from a good rest, so they are fresh, so Barty being the stronger of the two to win.

Yup, I spoke to soon, Bublik really played superb here, no more comeback from Karatsev as he broke early in the second set.

And to be fair with Karatsev, there are a lot of upsets last night, Nadal survived but the rest, Rublev,Tsitsipas and Medvedev are packing their bags.

Casper Ruud and Berettini will be the huge underdog to win this tournament for me.

For me also a surprise that Rublev lost, I'm also curious how Thiem is doing with Isner. So far, Thiem has won his games confidently after the break. The match between Zverev and Nadal will certainly be interesting, but assume that Nadal will win the match in 3 sets.

I don't think that Zverev can win a set against nadal. Zverev also has not lost a set yet in this tournament but that is not so special to me because both of them only played 2 matches so far  . If zverev has a good day than he can beat everyone but nadal on clay is something different to me. If he reaches a good form or even only a average form then there is not much that other players can do against it on clay. He is already 34 years old so maybe the gap between him and the other players is already getting closer but as of now he is still ahead of them.

Yeah, Zverev pulled the biggest upset so far, it ruined my parlay as it started on Nadal winning 2:0.

I think Zverev becoming the favorite against Thiem is due to his performance today. And this is good though, we can put a beat on Thiem with that attractive odds.

Good call on the Berrettini match, it was over 21.5 so a win for you. I have Berrettini 2:1 with good odds as well, so still a win for us.

We are completely wrong in our prediction, on the contrary, Zverev won 2:0 against the best court player in Nadal. I don't think that Nadal is losing step, it's that that Zverev really played a perfect game today.

So it's Thiem vs Zverev, I still leaning on Thiem to win here, next to Nadal, I would say that he is the next best player. So let's see if Zverev can continue his winning or Thiem will stop him here. 2:1 for me - Thiem.
