Hmm, what will I do with my Bitcoin's?

I think, that when they are worth a whole lot more they will sponsor my first car Cheesy
Like a Golf GTI or something...

Let's hope all the people who don't dare touching BTC will get burned to death when we are all rich people!

Let's not, and just be happy.  Smiley

Self-Custody is a right. Say no to"Non-custodial"

I need more BTC... trying to buy a little at a time.. Wish i got in 3 years ago when they were cheap Smiley
They weren't cheap then either. $1 per bitcoin was seen a crazy high price.

Yes, it is most prudent to make our current calculations about what we should do, and how much we should invest, and how much risk to take based on the current situation and current market conditions, rather than wallowing in what could have been or speculating about how we could have made better decision(s) in the past.

In any event, many of us now still believe that bitcoin remains a very good investment, we also recognize that there are quite a few "earlier adopters"  who got in for a lot lesser investment, and also there are some people who got in early, but they made mistakes and spent their profits and/or got out too soon.

In the end, there are going to continue to be a lot of challenging times ahead of us in terms of attempting to calculate our investment strategy(ies) in respect to our own risk-tolerance(s) and financial abilities.

1) Self-Custody is a right.  There is no such thing as "non-custodial" or "un-hosted."  2) ESG, KYC & AML are attack-vectors on Bitcoin to be avoided or minimized.  3) How much alt (shit)coin diversification is necessary? if you are into Bitcoin, then 0%......if you cannot control your gambling, then perhaps limit your alt(shit)coin exposure to less than 10% of your bitcoin size...Put BTC here: bc1q49wt0ddnj07wzzp6z7affw9ven7fztyhevqu9k

Me too but I thought Bitcoin was just silly gaming shit.

What do you mean? What sort of gaming did you think it was? Gambling or something?

A couple years ago this is what some/many in the gambling community thought the primary use of Bitcoin would be (maybe the only use besides buying drugs). A way for US citizens to circumvent their country's draconian gambling laws.

And yet there are something like 13 million millionaires in the world..being a millionaire is now commonplace and doesn't make you important.

Owning a single bitcoin one day will mean you are a magnitude more wealthy than today's "millionaires".

Bitcoin may not suceed, think it will but it may not, it is good not to be too unrealistic

655$ on Bitstamt at the moment so maybe we can get excited? Grin

It will be back at $1k by year end.
If history proves anything it will be much higher then this by year end. Bitcoin went up 100x~ last year, and it ending the year at 1k would mean it stayed roughly even for the whole year.

Where did you get this number from? The maximum supply of bitcoins is 21 million so wouldn't it be more correct to say there will never be more than 21 million individuals with 1 BTC?

Bitcoin has increased every year but some years were much better than others. 2012 was a very poor year ($5 to $13 or 3-fold increase) while 2013 was an extremely good year ($13 to $1,000 or 80-fold increase). 2011 was also a very good year ($0.20 to $5 or 25-fold increase). Personally, I feel that the increase in 2013 was a bit too much, and it might be a while before we see another spike. I wouldn't be surprised if 2014 turns out to be Bitcoin's worst year. Sad

Not true.
Bitcoin sets anyone free from the fiat system by providing a valid alternative. You can start with your new found freedom at any time even if you are not a "wealthy elite" person.
