Luka definitely got it done tonight. They’re saying that’s one of the greatest stat lines of all time. The shocking thing to me is that he’s able to do it in spite of not being the quickest or most athletic guy. He just seems to get the ball in the basket no matter what. Besides the crazy numbers, he did it on 68% shooting from the field. Extremely efficient and impressive. He’ll be an MVP in the next couple years.

They're saying that if he has some star players in their team that could ever help him on the court, it would be easy for him to get that MVP award or might even climb the ladder to be an NBA champion but Luka is still young and he is not prone to injury guy, he has lots of room to dominate the league and might be one of the greatest players that ever plays in the NBA because of how talented he is. Let's just hope that he keeps doing this kind of play throughout his prime he really needs to care of his body because when he returned from a major injury, most likely he wouldn't be the same anymore.

Yeah, I agree, it's one of the greatest numbers we have seen in recent years. And I think that's what Luka's strength is, he is not the quickest he admit that, but he was able to take advantage of it and somewhat confused his defenders. And so it became a advantage for him, unless players like Ja Morant for example, very explosive, but sometimes he is predictable, (going to his left), that's why his guard can defend him very well. Unless Luka who yo don't know because of his speed that he is going to pass or not. And so far this season, that is the biggest single point in a game we have seen so far.

Yeah, just one hell of a performance from Luka in this game, those 3 they made really put the dagger on the hearts of the Knicks. But it was all Luka, so what can we say, the numbers he put was one for the ages and we don't know if somewhat can a beat it this season although we have seen 50 point performance already, but this performance is very special and yeah this is history and put his name on the MVP discussions again. It was  a great win by the Dallas, they are supposed to lose the game but Luka's concentration on that last shot was just insane. The crowd was also a big factor on that win, cheering for Luka and the team inspired them even on a game that is already impossible to win. IIRC, less than a minute and the Knicks are up 9 points and yet Dallas did not give up.

Yeah, I consider myself lucky for watching the full game on television live. That was one heck of a game and I doubt I could easily forget this day.
Also, I don't think it will be broken in years, if there is one maybe Jokic could, but it will be a difficult and tiresome feat.

And have you seen how shocked he is when the reporter said he made 60 points? Luka asked, 60?  He didn't even know. He just kept working his ass and never looked at the stats line.

Luka is a phenomenal athlete. Even though he is not particularly quick, he has incredible timing and precision. But Luka won't ever bring home a championship except if he gets some assistance. That is the new normal of the NBA. For a team to win, you want to have no less than two stars in the group. If Luka doesn't get help from the Dallas Mavericks, he will accept other tempting offers from other teams when his contract expires.

Yes, Luka could be 100% healthy, but the question is with his team mates, they need to be very consistent to help Luka in the offense. Last year they were all hitting that outside 3's, specially Luka penetrating and then kicking it out to them. But this year, it was a different story. And it seems they can't find a perfect fit for Woods, in my opinion.

I think it's the competitiveness between the two teams, so it will be interesting to see them match up against each other in the playoff this season and see if they can adjust to Luka's Magic or Luka will still have the numbers against Booker. Not only is Booker trash talking Luka, I think everyone is the league that he is match out against, he will clearly uses his mouth to get the edge.

But I guess the big story is Memphis losing again to a team in the West, so much for the comment that he is fine with the Western conference, two top teams have beaten them in their last 2 games, even without Booker. I guess Morant should learn when to shut his mouth during interviews.

What an amazing rally in the last seconds of the 4th quarter, and yeah I believed that the Knicks are shell shocked to see that massive comeback and when they thought that they have the longest winning streak at the road, suddenly the Mavs was able to execute a perfect comeback and then Luka, first time in Dallas history to score 60 points, what a great achievement for him. And yeah, he is very hard to guard at this point, you really have to double or triple team him and hope that who he passes misses the shot, otherwise it will be automatic.

A 9-point lead by the Knicks in regulation with 33 seconds left in the 4th quarter. Mavs trapped them every play, tied the game and they took it to overtime. That last shot by Luka was so unbelievable it will probably be in the best highlights forever. (including his reaction)
Overtime was mostly Mavs, they won it there.

Two weeks ago we saw Jokic join the legends with 40/27/10 and now here is Luka 60/21/10. A new record in NBA.

It was an unbelievable game yet very impressive, after all it's Luka Magic.

The Dallas Mavericks intentionally let the New York Knicks dictate the game and own the whole 1st half while Luka and the others was just tailing closely and answering every shot that the other team made without taking the lead. It's like they are letting the Knicks thinking that they will own the whole game but the Mavs took the lead in the 2nd half up until the overtime.

Historical game. Can't really imagine that Luka is still a 23 years old.

I can say that it was very good for the Los Angeles Lakers to beat Orlando, who was in great shape. Lebron took the instrument again and when his teammates accompanied him, the victory came. They won with a score of 110-129. My other championship contender team, the Boston Celtics, defeated Houston 126-102 at home and we can say that they started a winning streak again.

I also want these teams to meet again in the playoffs. That's where the Phoenix Suns should make their last playoffs exit revenge instead of calling their first win against the Mavericks this season as they already got their revenge lol. I will side again with the Mavericks because Booker talks too much although he really has that skills and no doubt about that.

The Mavericks though need some good supporting role players for Luka Doncic. In terms of roster comparison, the Suns for me have a better roster compared to Mavericks. It's not that Mavericks will trade their current players but rather, hope their current role players to do some improvement.

He will surpass Kareem, there's no doubt about that but stat padding is not on his bucket list. I just don't see it.
About defense, well he had a history of being bad at it even when he was young.

He is not Westbrook, so he will not do that... What Lebron wants now is to win another championship as he is already fulfilled with his individual records, but on the discussions of the greats, winning a championship is his best weapon to be considered as close to the greatest.

LeBron James is prioritizing more to add another championship trophy in his closet, at least 1 before he says goodbye to the league, but I don't think that he can do that this season. He could've carried the team if he can but that is not the case anymore and right now, he is becoming a liability to the Lakers defense. Breaking another record like passing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to the all-time points leader will come, so there's no need to prioritize that as he only needed to be consistent on his contributions per game.

I am pretty sure that he's still aiming for another title before closing everything, but yup, that title can't be done for this season,
a lot of competitions who are much more capable of winning the title.

With Lakers, LeBron can make more points and achieving in breaking Kareem's record is not
by far anymore, with his healthy body, he can surpass that record and lead the NBA in scoring
title. An individual achievement that can be added to his supremacy.

No doubt and for that, the Lakers should prioritize to do some valuable trades this season if they want their rankings to go higher before the post season commence and participate in the playoffs because their current situation will really be having a hard time climbing through the ladder. And if they will get lucky to have a spot, that won't go for long because surely they will be the first ones that will be eliminated in the first round especially if Davis is not that around always to help the team.

As a die-hard fan of the Dallas Mavericks for a long, I was impressed with the recent win that almost cost them to lose it but got saved by Luka's magic.

My concern is, the fact that Luka needs to average 50 or 60 points per game to win is something not good for me in the long term, especially that with the stats like that per game, they are only winning by a small margin or the worst, they are losing that game. I know he's getting more points like that as he's the main guy for the team but still, he badly needed some help.

As I always said, Mavericks can always rely on Luka's consistency but I do hope that his teammates will also do their very best.

Ja Morant do have some talent and I know he do know that fact but he is not yet there. Someday, we will see him what he is like on the peak of his prime and by that time, surely he will carry the whole team on his back. Although, from what I observed, his performance will likely get him some serious injuries.

I am observing the same with Ja Morant. He could be great but he needs to put in the work, prepare his body to be less injury prone. It is nice to see athletic players but too much might get him long-term injury. If he keeps at it, he might end up like D Rose.

Yes, exactly. Ja Morant might end up like Derrick Rose and become a less known player throughout the years because he can't do the same tricks and performance anymore. Ja Morant is a better version of D-Rose but that's still the same because a torn ACL will indeed give a player some nightmares. Only few who got out successfully, but their performance is never the same anymore. For that, Ja Morant should be extremely careful.

The Nets are starting to look like they’re firing on all cylinders. They’ve quietly won 9 straight with Kyrie and KD both scoring more than 30 in their last outing. KD looked a little frustrated at times yelling at teammates, but maybe that’s what they need out of him as a leader because whatever they’ve started doing seems to be working. They’re now the #3 team in the East and looking good.

They've won 9 straight games but surprisingly, nobody is talking too much about it, or I'm not updated only .

Nevertheless, it's good to see the Nets starting to get some wins already after that awful start and a lot of drama that went on. Looks like their new coach is a perfect fit for the team. It seems like the yelling that KD is doing is firing all of the Nets roster and performing way better than what they are. KD and Kyrie are expected main offensive players for the team but what's better is that they are getting enough help for their role players and Simmons is slowly getting his rhythm already.

The Nets are 3rd in sportsbook before the season in which team has a higher chance to win. With their current roster and their current performance and if they will continue to play like this and there will be no injuries, they are formidable team to deal in the Eastern Conference.

With the way they are trusting each other and how the role players are performing, I can go with that statement, without any injuries
and with a complete squad moving to the next round, Nets is one of the good contender from the east.

9 straight winning streak and both of your superstars are playing hard. They are boosting the
role players to act and play the way they wanted.

Good to see that we are really seeing KD as a leader, with that yelling something that he needed
to bring his competitiveness with his teammates.

I can't help but think that Kevin Durant's intention to force a trade after what happened last season became a big help to the team this season, it seems that all of the them have straighten up and stepping up almost every game to help KD and Irving from carrying the team.

Aside from that, Ben Simmons has been a big help as well lately and later on became a part of the Nets Big Three.

Later, they have a game against the Atlanta Hawks. They have a good chance to continue their winning streak as they are already approaching towards their 10th win in a row, if ever.
