There's always been talks and intrigue about these 2 teams since the Mavs made an upset and knocked the Suns out in the playoffs in 2021. It seems like some Phoenix fans and maybe even Booker himself hasn't moved on yet.

That's why when these two teams meet again early in the season and the Suns won it after a big comeback, the celebration is like they truly got revenge on the Mavericks lol. They should really be bitter in their last year's playoffs exit as just imagined having the best record in the NBA and up by 2 wins in the playoffs against the Mavericks but still choking and losing it. And the worst, they allow the Mavericks to give them as much as 46 points behind, a literal choke.

I hope though that they will meet again in this year's playoffs to continue their rivalry, with no injuries and in a healthy lineup.

But this lost though, I mean no Luka but still the Dallas were able to escape and get that needed win against their rival. So this could be another huge lost for them mentally and it's worst for them.

Let's see about the Warriors hosted the Raptors, if the Curry incident is over now because as I have said, I didn't like this gestures here with his team mates and it might crack their chemistry this season.

Milwaukee Bucks and Indiana pacers went off huge tonight. Between the 2 teams there was 272 points scored. That's pretty high IMO. Bucks got the win 141-131 and Giannis was the top scorer with 41. We see a lot of scores in the NBA in the 100s-120s range but 140 points in a game is just amazing.

Ya, that was a crazy high scoring game. We’re seeing more and more of those this season as the pace in the NBA continues to quicken. I’m sure we’re only a few years away from seeing a 200 point score in a game.

The Splash Brothers also went off tonight in a pretty high scoring game. Steph Curry especially had a great shooting night and nearly a triple double. Safe to say he’s feeling healthy.

Injuries are obviously a big problem in the NBA. I wish I could see Luca play a little more time in this game. He played only 3 minutes. I really hope that he was taken off because they wanted to make sure he doesn't get injured. In this game, Dinwiddie was great for the Mavericks. He scored 36 points for his team. And it was honestly a great match between both these teams.

It is going to be really great to see if they face each other again later. Because whenever these two teams play, the neutrals get their money's worth.

I forgot about that but these players look like they will never forget. So, that is the reason why the competitive aura between the two teams is still high despite the undermanned game when Doncic was injured in the first quarter and no Booker on the other side.
I thought it was just Phoenix Suns' nature when they are playing their games. More trash talking less showing their skills.   They do this too against the Warriors and just recently the Grizzlies where there's so much heat happening on both sides. IIRC, it was Dillon Brooks who got the flagrant 1 swiping Cam Johnson's face.
I don't what happened to the Suns but this is not how they were when they built the team Paul, Booker, Ayton, and Bridges in their first two years.
Back then, it was fun to watch a Suns game until it got dirty.

Warriors dominated the Raptors after first quarter, then win the game with double digits lead. They are all pro and coach

Look at the minutes of all three cores of GSW, they are all got 30+ minutes inside the
court, very nice to see them playing with a smooth game play and produce good numbers.

Antetokounompo absolutely went big in this match. He dropped 41 points for the Bucks. And of course, this was a very high-scoring match. For the Bucks Giannis went really big butt for the Indiana Pacers, the whole team played really well and it was a good all round performance from the Indiana Pacers. The only thing they needed after that was a great individual performance like Giannis did for the Milwaukee Bucks.

Well, the Suns don't have Booker as well. Since he got injured, the Suns played not that good. Well, they got a 4 game winning streak before that lost and that shows a sign of adjustments, but still, many are expecting that the Suns will be the same team as they are 2 years ago when they are at the top of the standings. Now they are 25-25 and currently 9th in the league. Nowhere near the expectation of their fans and other people who have high expectations to them.

Will they enter the playoffs? Yes for sure. The question now is, where they will land. The worst thing that can happen to them is if they will end up at the play-in tournament.

Because him and the Nets organization has some issues in the past and so with that I have a feeling that the Nets will not give him that huge contract extension.

And it happened, Phoenix Suns make a name and were able to dominate the Western Conference for two consecutive seasons finishing 2nd and 1st in the 2020-21 and 2021-22 seasons respectively. That's also the start of Devin Booker's turning from being silent into trash talking person. I thought of him as a humble player before but maybe because of his game improvement, his behavior also changed thinking he was a solid Superstar.

The Nets are a power house, they could've become a champion if they were not bugged with injuries.
But I'm not really sure why they struggled with Harden in their roster. Not really a huge Nets fan, but this year, if they can be healthy, they'll have a good chance for the championship.
Kyrie and Durant will be enough for the Nets to go to the Finals, the current Nets roster has depth.

There's a lot of players rejecting huge offers, like Fred Van Fleet and now Jeremi Grant. All I can say is that hopefully they don't get "Schrodered", Lol. I am a big follower of Jerami Grant since his Nuggets years. That's when I saw how good he is specially combined with Jokic with a passing ability. He can always score deep on the paint as long as the passer can see him. He may not be the normal forward who can fill the stats in rebounds but his scoring ability is one of the consistent ones in the Trail Blazers. Plus, he can also shoot threes which help to spread the floor more.

True, after that loss in the play-in tournament in the bubble even if they won all their games, that's when I started following the Suns' team. But it all changed and I don't know why. It's not about injuries but I think it's because of loads of drama in their team. Jae Crowder not playing and asking for a trade because of  Mikal Bridges, then Booker, CP3, Ayton's contract, and their coach who doesn't even handshake anymore after the game.
Maybe lack of sportsmanship because I still like players to be a sport even after a competitive game.

Grant is averaging 21 PPG, I think that's good enough to be called as a consistent player, and with that huge contract, I'm sure he will not say no. He'll surely stay with the Blazers and help Lillard in the playoffs. This team has more room for improvement, Grant is quite new to the system, it's his first season with this team, so let's give them more time to create their chemistry, and that way they'll be able to win more games.

I would say yes.

We know almost everything is costly now. The price of everything went up because of the recent inflation. So it is not going to be easy to get a player who is averaging 21 points per game for anything less than that. And I do not also see any reason for the player to not agree with this deal. Because this is certainly a good amount of money.

The Grizzlies' performance really hasn't been impressive lately, but I don't think they're desperate because of their current losing streak. As you said, they're still in second place in the Western Conference standings, and they still have an advantage over the Kings, who are currently in third place in the standings. I mean, the Grizzlies coach still has time to analyze and find the reason for the team's poor performance and make adjustments accordingly.
