Bruce Brown helped a lot in the last quarter of the game. He was actually 4/4 in the 3-point line until he missed two but never gave up and tried working his game in the paint.
Porter Jr., is getting better, the rhythm is there but lots of mistakes still happening like that one time where Jokic was having a mismatch against a smaller defender, it's an easy decision but he let it pass and took the shot.

Eventually he will be able to make the right adjustment, he has been with this team for so long already, so he already know his job. Maybe he got excited to shoot because his 3 points shooting is getting better, and not only that, his defense on Tatum was remarkable, he did his job pretty well.

Jordan Poole has the talent but he is not as clutch as Curry and Thompson, the splash brothers really are the reasons of the success of the Warriors. Poole getting added as a talent, he can be a good 2nd unit so they will not run out of offense. Once Curry will come back, no way Poole will be able to get his numbers now as the offense will be focus back to Curry.

Poole is not yet on that point, but I know soon, he will be named as one of the clutch players too. It's just that Curry and Thompson are the ones who are in the spotlight for now because they are the ones who are much reliable when it comes to clutch shots. I'm just glad that he's stepping up in the games and helping the team bring a win in the times that they needed it the most while Curry is not yet around and Thompson is not that consistent as well.

When Curry steps back into the court, Jordan Poole will relegate back to his old position. Curry will be the first option and Jordan Poole will be third or fourth but that should transition in the future since Jordan Poole is the young core. If they are to train and raise Jordan Poole right, they have to relegate some clutch moments to him in order to develop him more. He also needs to develop his leadership which the team will need when the current core retires.

They have taken the Celtics out of their comfort zone. They limited their 3 points and exposed their defense. The Celtics were just able to make 9 out of 33 shots behind the arc. That is quite a poor performance for a team that is so good in making 3s.

Gordon is always impressive in the regular season but let's see how he will perform in the playoffs especially when they are up against the Warriors. IMO, the only players that are reliable for the Nuggets are Jokic and Murray, the rest may just choke, I hope I'm wrong but just saying my honest observation.

He used to play harder even when he doesn't have anyone to help him but still, he successfully became season MVP twice now he improved a lot, and this year's NBA team's ranking is truly unpredictable and anyone can really win the Championship due to their lots of improvement. After the NBA all-star games, we will see lots of changes because every teams will work hard to protect their spots in the NBA playoffs tree.

Makes sense. The GSW's current ranking is still affected by the absence of some key players of the team, particularly Curry. Even still, Klay and Poole are doing good work by being solid at home, and obviously they need to do something about their on the road games because it's looking to bleak with their recent performances.

If playoff experience is what the odds are based heavily on, I'm surprised that the Clippers fared better than the Nuggets and 76ers. I think it's a mix of experience, current performance, and how well some key players are performing for the oddsmakers to come up with this current ranking.

And I agree that the playoffs is where most of their trump cards are activated. In the off season you'll see players pop off that are usually not that noisy, and then those same players disappear when it comes to the regular season. Usual high scoring games during the off season becomes not so common during the playoffs. Teams don't want to give too much information during the off season, they just want to condition themselves on the possible form of the enemy when the time comes.

Just to summarize, Bruce Brown was a great addition to the Nuggets and now it's being magnified. The same with KCP, now they have an outside shooter and it proved to be worth the trade with the Wizards. He is playing well and I think he loved Denver now.

I won't be so sure about that. Their home record is still good even without Steph Curry. How great will it be when he is around?
Their only problem is their road games but Wiggins will soon be back and so does Curry which I think only have 1 more week rest needed for his return or even after the All-Star then can still handle to enter the playoffs.

Back to the topic, it's funny that Pop tried to control Luka's points and that they are aiming more to control him so that he won't be scoring 50 points, and the funnier thing is that Luka gave the joke back by scoring 51 points.

Great numbers from Luka but what's more impressive to me is how coach Pop kinda guessed how things will play out. They would have won that game had they managed to bring Luka's score to 49 hehe.

I don't know about best roster but I do hope they get to the West Finals this year at least. It helps build their confidence if they perform better than their previous achievements.

In todays NBA, you build a team for a title or you don't have a team at all. This means that many teams either get one year free agents that will give them something and leave, or they pay huge amounts of money to players who would be terrible by the end of the contract, but could get them a title early on.

This is the cause of the trouble, like yeah Warriors won last year, but have you seen what they are paying to their players? They have no room for one more good player and that means if someone gets bad (draymond for example) then they have to keep him on the books for a long time. Which causes them to be amazing at first, but then start to go worse and worse.

No way picking championship predictions can be made yet.  Way too much left in the season.  Injuries will shape the second half of the year as well as the trade deadline.  A fringe team can become the frontrunner with a blockbuster deal at the deadline.  I like to wait until at least March to start looking at who might be the frontrunners.

I expect a more comfortable Memphis win tonight. Even though Kings had a good form they hardly won their last matches. Their defense has problems and they concede too many points. Morant is on form and Jackson and Bane also help him scoring. Adams is a big threat in the paint. I'd pick him over Sabonis.
About handicaps I see +7.5 for Kings. I think Memphis can easily get a two digit difference win. So I don't agree with your post at all.

Jokic is just too powerful and when he's in bench to rest Nuggets struggle a bit. We saw that again Yesterday in Celtics game. They still managed to win easier than expected. Bones Hyland made a difference when he shot 3 threes in a row. Aaron Gordon always play with a good standard.
BTW the game stopped for almost 45 minutes after basket bend, probably because of Robert Williams' dunk. Nuggets field management failed, they should have fixed it much faster.

I'm actually frustrated when the Nets freed Steve Nash but somehow, it turns out that it's like what the team truly needed because they are going on a straight line already ever since the season started. Although, they still have some struggles, but they are bouncing back impressively after every loss they've got. These new Big Three of the Brooklyn Nets will definitely bring the team to the playoffs and with its role players, together they can achieve much further than what they did last season.

I agree that when I've first seen the news that the team has released Steve Nash, I'm a fan of his during his career, I'm also disappointed.

But looking at their current situation, they're doing better and it's all thanks to the change that has been made.

The Nets didn't have a good start but at least, they're having a good run now.

They should, considering how good their roster are. Some NBA players maybe good when they're still out their playing, but terrible in coaching.
What we have known is that, the best PG can make a great coach, because they are the ones who's making most of the plays during their professional basketball career. But, Jason Kidd and Steve Nash terribly fail at coaching. I think they still need enough experience as an assistant coach.

They know how good their roster are and that's why they're now at the top, 2nd to the standings. But before the year ends for 2022, they're at the bottom just like the Lakers.

I also see the good improvement with the Nuggets, and with Murray again playing, the winning chance is good to move forward to the playoff and a possibility of chasing the ring.

They've got good role players who can help Murray and Jokic, hopefully if they manage to work their way
to the West finals again, it will be a success. Though too early for assuming we need to way till the All-Star
as we will see more improvement, especially on the west side.

I do not know where you are basing that comment, but GSW still looks solid even with their poor start this season. They are 19-18, which is above 500. They are currently on a 4 winning streak and 5-5 on their last 10. All that was done without Curry and Wiggins. They are currently ranked #9 which is still okay since they still have 45 games to play. Last year, I think, they finished 5th in the West and were still able to take home the Championship. As long as they are able to get into the playoffs, they still have a good chance of winning the chip. They are a different beast in the playoffs, especially if they are all healthy.

Those are homegrown talents getting on to their prime. They need to get paid, or they will take their talents somewhere else. Draymond is maybe on the decline right now, but he is still a vital piece on their original core. He helped the Warriors get the 4 chips in the last decade, 6 finals appearances, and help make GSW from a million-dollar team to a billion-dollar organization.

They are 3rd in the West last season, behind, Phoenix with their 60+ games and then Memphis and the Warriors. So you can say that they are in the top but obviously since they have the championship DNA, playoff is a very different thing for some teams.

Like Phoenix, they were upset by Luka, just imagine that, only one player tested the whole Phoenix team and yet they can't win. But Warriors lock down Luka and didn't let him have that kind of games with them.

So the top 3 r ight now are not assured that they can go to the finals, those are inexperience teams and yeah, come playoff time, who knows, with a healthy Curry and Wiggins, it might be a different Warrior team, upping up their level.

The final seeding is not that necessary as sure experienced teams will unleash their best once playoffs come.
