It's unlikely that the Kings will have an impressive performance in the playoffs. At least, I don't expect them to be able to of getting past the second round. By the way, it's worth noting that the Kings haven't reached the playoffs in the last 16 seasons. So the fact that the Kings are now in fifth place in the standings and have a good chance of reaching the playoffs is already a great achievement for both their current roster and for the Kings franchise as a whole.

Let's not conclude the ending like it's already written in the Bible.
Sacramento Kings have a chance and that beam will be lit. I do hope we have more fans of the Kings here to vote for Sabonis and Fox for the All-Star. They are not underdogs anymore, they are one of the elite teams in the league. They are not a duo to be messed with, Sabonis is even playing with an injured thumb.

We are almost halfway through the season, I hope they can be consistent to secure a spot in the playoffs. They were indeed a big surprise this season, Fox is an upgrade to fit playing alongside Sabonis and Barnes. The playoffs maybe a bit different for them, but I believe to could win at least the first round. If they will have to make another surprise in the post season, they'll beat everyone in the West (which is kinda difficult for a team who have never been in the playoffs for quite some time) and compete in the Finals lol, who knows.

Consistency, well Sabonis have it and Fox is a scoring machine.
My only issue is Malik Monk and Kevin Huerter. They are like the Joe Harris of the Nets equal to Huerter and THT of the Jazz for Monk.
The duo needs help but it comes in parts. Sometimes Huerter is hot and Monk can make the game-winner, that is not a winning team.

Somehow, we as basketball fans would like to see again Lebron James playing in the post season, but we cannot just get ahead because their current roster will not probably get the chance to play at the playoffs considering how inconsistent they are, and players aren't that willing to step-up if there's a situation that needed them to be at the best version of themselves. So far, they are making an improvement, but I still doubt it.

They needed to make a move in this upcoming trade because if they won't then it's best to assume that they won't going to reach far enough, if they will get lucky, they will just probably get eliminated in the 1st round or worse in the play-in tournament.

At least they are showing some signs of life. We are still halfway through the season, so if they can get a move for a key player that can help them, there is still a chance that we will see them in the playoffs. Schroeder, Westbrook, Bryant, and Walker are really showing some improvements. They are just a key player away from being really good. And if AD and Lebron stays healthy, their bid is pretty much alive.

I believe Anthony Davis and the rest of the injured players can return within this season which means the Lakers are still alive. But I also doubt their ability to reach deep in the playoffs. They really need a change before the All-Star period if they want to compete with the likes of Boston, Denver, Milwaukee, and the other title-favorite teams. The Lakers' approach this season though is conservative when they were reluctant to offer their future first-round picks. Lebron on the other hand seems to lose his magic spell in recruiting other players and convincing them to accept low salaries.

Zach LaVine had himself a night in the Bulls win over the 76ers. He shot 11-13 from 3 point range on his way to 41 points. One of the better performances of his career.

I believe the issue inside is already fix. Zach Lavine now are playing like a real superstar, him and DeRozan are very efficient.
These bulls could be in the playoffs, who knows... They are winning games and beating strong teams, unlike in their past games where they struggle a lot.
It's a reborn bulls for me.

Before the start of the season, I was expecting their lineup to be strong enough to compete with the other good east teams. However, the absence of Lonzo Ball is one of the reasons they are not performing well. Lavine was dissatisfied, contemplated a trade, and he was targeting the Lakers. However, he might stay if he can maintain the form he has shown in recent games. This would put them back in the winning column. The Bulls have many games left to enter the playoffs.

The Nets beat the Pelicans in a game that wasn’t so pretty. Durant scored 33 in an uncharacteristically inefficient night. It was Kyrie down the stretch who brought the game home for them though.

If Zion was playing, the result might be different.

I cannot wait to see the Pelicans in full force and see what they can accomplish. They do not have Williamson or Ingram, but McCollum and the rest of the team continue to play at high level.

The Bulls were an odd lineup I think even with Ball, but having him out definitely left a hole in their defense.  It seems like DeRozan and LaVine are somewhat similar players who like to create shots with the ball in their hands.  That usually creates tension when things aren't going well as the other will always want to be the guy taking the shot.  Even when they were all healthy, the Bulls struggled against teams over .500.  I think they're a great regular season team, but don't see them ever doing anything in the playoffs with their roster.  I also don't think DeRozan or LaVine will be there much longer.  Their window closed as quickly as it opened.

It was an incredible performance, I haven't seen him play this well in a long time. In fact, he is a player who could always play with such a high performance if he did not face injuries, but he is not very lucky in this regard.
They played very well in the 3rd period of the match, otherwise they would not have won this match. I don't think it was a good night for the Nets, Durant played well in the third period. Irving's three-pointer at the last minute ended the game

I also agree with this kind of thought, I confess, this season the Kings are playing very well, I have no doubt that they will reach the playoffs in this season, but unfortunately for them to be able to advance in the playoffs, they still need to mature and improve his level.

They played one of the best defences I have seen in a while, the fast breaks after the turnovers caused so much scoring for them, it was really an insane period.

I would expect Bucks to have some bad days, that's normal and nothing weird with that, but to have Hornets play this well? That's very rare and not going to see that again for a while. So, when you have one of the best teams in the league, playing against one of the worst, and the worse one dominates? That becomes something seriously good.

The Hornets blasted right away in the 1st quarter and gained the confidence to play hard more. They established 51 points in just 1st quarter and that is something unusual for them. With the Hornets maintaining the large lead the entire game, the Bucks seem didn't plan for any comeback attempt and just allow their bench players to play.

The majority of the Bucks starters were only given limited minutes of playing because of that large lead. A wise decision as losing that game won't really affect their current position on the standing. It also prevents unnecessary injuries on their key players while the game is already considered as settled.

In other news how boutique my NY Knicks with a big win on the road against Toronto who has been playing better of late.  Nice string of wins they are putting together.  They need to try to close the gap on the top 4 teams, they need to rip off another 4-5 games here.  They are looking good so far.

Agree with this. Actually, in the case that there's no such thing as a trade will happen involving the Los Angeles Lakers before the trade deadline, their fans can bet that their improving role players especially Bryant, Schroeder, Walker, Nunn, Reeves, etc. will do their very best to help the team bounce back from their current standing.

However, these fans should also accept the fact that the chances of the Lakers getting into the playoffs is really critical at the moment. They are even in a tight spot to qualify for the play-in tournament. Anthony Davis is really the missing piece for them to improve their current position. The Lakers should always be at 100% healthy status to remain alive and kicking on their playoff attempt.

I don't really like what Mike Brown did back in Cleveland, he used Lebron way too much like he was a horse, and that ended horribly, as he was always exhausted. But he did learn a lot being the assistant of Coach Kerr, now we can see those changes in Sacramento Kings which is now 5th in the West.

True, Sacramento Kings are a big surprise this season, it's the same lineup but they have a better season. What we want to see now is consistency, and as long as their system works, I think they'll be in good shape in the playoffs. We never know, they could be a surprise in the playoffs as long as they remain to have a good standing, especially if they will earn the home court advantage. This team is still young but the coach is experience enough and had learned some good techniques from his coaching job with the Warriors. It's nice to bet on the underdog knowing they know how to play hard and Kings will certainly give that to us in the playoffs.

Career high for Lamb scoring 22 points at the first half and then 4 more in the second. Wiggins and Iguodala's return didn't end with a bang. They are both in restricted minutes, so I guess it's just okay. Warriors last home game will be against the Phoenix Suns, after that they will be in 5 road games, and I wish Steph will be back because they don't have a good record without him when they are the away team.
Kings versus Lakers is the most entertaining of all, Lebron putting numbers with 37 points but the highlighted player is Thomas Bryant making 29 points and 14 rebounds. He should continue that type of a hustle game.
