My team Bulls with another important victory that keep them in last play-off spot and if they will keep it like this , I think play-offs are locked in for now and only a big mistake from them could out turn this result.

Lakers ...well...it's been a long time since I saw LeBron doing a magic night last this one as he had 47 PTS, 10 REB with 9 AST on 61% FG exactly on this birthday and I must congratulate him and the stats as well because is not easy to perform like him at his age.

5 straight wins for the Pelicans.
After defeating the 76ers today, they just had their 5th winning streak, we saw how they struggled two weeks ago and even had a 4 losing streak but now they are back on track.
Even without Brandon Ingram back yet they still manage to win. CJ McCollum stepping up his game way above the expectation of many, Zion Williamson's offensive stats is still growing and their bench players contributing on the defensive end.
This team really has a deep roster and now they are on the top of the Western Conference again tied with the Denver Nuggets.

The Pelicans are starting to cash in on Zion's contract. He is fit and totally carrying the team with the help of CJ McCollum. I was doubtful when the Pelicans offered a max extension to Zion but now, I see that it is worth it. If he stays healthy (thanks to the weight addendum in his contract), they will totally dominate the west. The addition of CJ was a good move too. It provided the necessary veteran leadership this young team needs.

The Pelicans really have a case to go deep this season and its roster is not just depending on a single player. Together with Brandon Ingram, they are very dangerous with their offense. Zion is still very young and he continues to improve. Although the weight is an issue with Zion, somehow he knows how to take advantage of it. He is too strong and it is very difficult to stop him. I really cannot wait for the playoffs although we are still far from it and rankings may change hands knowing how competitive the NBA teams are nowadays.

They have solid young rooster already so hopefully their management will not think about trading them since for sure there's a lot of potential for them to get more better each year. And Zion need to take care of his weight since if he really want to stay on the league for long term he needs to get manageable weight so that he will not get hit by a serious injury that can possibly ruin his career.

His weight is okay, that's where he is very effective, if that's an issue, then it's easy for Zion to reduce his weight because they have all the trainers to make it possible at a soonest time. Injury is the problem of Zion, but as he learn to manage himself well on the floor, things will be brighter for his team.

He put up 47 points on 66% shooting from the field and 75% from 3-point range to go along with 10 rebounds and 9 assists. To be honest, I bet against the Lakers as I think that the Hawks are going to win at their homecourt. They even take a good 10 point lead if I'm not mistaken in the first half. But suddenly Lebron has that one of the nights wherein he is on the zone, almost a triple double.

Still though the record of Kareem is for Lebron to break this season, the way he is scoring and playing at high level even at his 20th season, could be the one of the greatest achievement in NBA this season.

I don't see that coming too. I was in the impression that Hawks will protect their home court crowd, but LeBron comes out and bring

What a nice gift to himself in his 38th birthday, I see in him that he's really aiming to break Kareem's record and that's not by far with

Well, the Hawks are extremely agile at the beginning of the game and keep the pace until the Lakers have taken the lead in the 3rd quarter for me the Lakers have transitioned from the worst team to a working properly team they surely came and destroy all obstacles that they have faced, for me Lebron James really and badly wants this championship this season and if he can continue the wins and can elevate the teams into the play-offs I think the Lakers now deserves a title shot, but surely it is pretty much hard right now to say because there are pretty much many teams that are great this season,

Right now I really like what the Pelicans are doing and because of that I am putting them on my favorite list beside the Utah Jazz, Boston Celtics, and the Golden State Warriors, but I am not saying that they can go beyond the play-offs, I think they aren't ready for a championship because for me the Golden State Warriors will still take that, but they will enter the play-offs for sure,


Change Topic I have seen the play of the Golden State Warriors right now and for me, they are a complete team now, they got high offensive players that are consistent on the deep, players that have high IQ and defensive-oriented players, and new players of the Warriors I think some are showing their potentials in their games were Stephen Curry is absence, and this is Ty Jerome and Donte DiVincenzo for me these two are a catch for the Warriors, Ty Jerome has a potential to be a great Shooting Guard, While DiVincenzo is an all-rounder that can steal the ball and both have adapted the Warriors way in getting passes and giving great passes incorporate with the play of the Warriors,

Yes, their road record is very disappointing, that's why I'm just happy when they are playing at home as their winning rate is very high.

His weight issue is more like an injury issue and not in game issue. Which means that if he is not injured then his weight becomes a positive instead of negative. It would be weird if he just walked around but he is super athletic and he can run and he can dunk very well and his agile compared to his weight as well.

I guess that it would be very well for them and serves them greatly if he keeps his weight and not get injured at all. They have plenty of great players right now, and could do very well on playoffs but there are other great teams as well so I am not really entirely sure if they could win anything, maybe a second round exit at best if you ask me.

Just as expected. LeBron won't get enough help with the guys who shoots with a much lesser percentage than last year, and last year's roster was also a mess. I really can't shake off of the thoughts as to why the Lakers have disassembled the 2020 Champion Laker team, when they were having a good offensive rotation and defensive hustle. They feel like it was never going to be enough to run another championship, because they are all a bunch of veterans, but the Lakers immediately turned the other way around.
LeBron clearly can't carry a team anymore. Sure this current Laker team is better than the 2007 Cavalier team.

The source of his injury is his weight. The Pelicans already acknowledge that and placed a clause in his contract that he should maintain a certain weight and have his body fat monitored. But even at 284 lbs, he is still a tank and unstoppable inside. Hopefully, with the help of his weight control, he will be able to remain healthy for the rest of the season. The Pelicans need him to move past the playoffs or at least past the first round.

Lebron will break the record no doubt. Doesn't matter when, but I think records should be broken down by decades or changed when new rules are introduced. Kareem had played 3/4ths of his career by the time 3 pointers were added in the NBA not that he would have shot many, but Lebron has shot and made a ton.

I think his weight and his likelihood of injury are part of the same issue.  He moves so fast and has so much weight to throw around, it's not like he has superhuman bones or anything.  He can break things or tear tendons extremely easily when he's up around 300lbs and jumping from the free throw line.  So while he may be more dominant with a bigger size while he's on the floor, I think maximizing his time on the floor will require him to slim down, even if it's not what is best for his game.  Otherwise he'll be out of the league much faster than I'd like to see.

Surely, we haven't got any thought about Nash's lack of experience as a head coach because we're too focused to the three drama queen that has been making headlines ever since they teamed up, after all, it was just Nash who can't control the superstars in his stable that he was once under his watch. I'm just glad that the Nets management managed to have the correct choice and keeping Durant in-exchange of freeing Nash. Made some sense why KD has been quite after firing Nash.

I still think Steve Nash is a good coach, maybe the Nets is not for him with veterans all over their roster. If given one more chance to lead a young team he will surely learn more on how to keep everything under control and maybe that will also add to his experience on how to manage them.
KD and Kyrie, two stars, veterans in the league, they want a respected coach or someone who will just stay silent if they both want the game to be in their shoulders when it's needed.

Why isn't Steve Nash considered a respected coach ?  I don't really know how he is viewed / perceived by the league overall, but lets say he's not a respected coach, then I'd certainly agree with you that they need to hire someone whom is.  However, hiring a coach who will stay silent and just let the superstars play and do whatever they want, I don't think that is the right way to go about getting this team closer to a championship.  If they don't respect the coach, then that will ruin the entire teams chemistry.

I understand what you're trying to get into, I know you're just trying to say that these superstars should learn to respect whoever their coach is rather than letting them to dictate the whole game while running wild and loose, also, they should control their ego once they have any misunderstanding with their coach. But I'm also thinking that maybe that's not the case here, Kevin Durant is probably not that fool to make the management choose if there's really no issue. Maybe, just maybe, former head coach Steve Nash doesn't know how to control the superstars and to guide them properly. Because what we're seeing right now is that the Nets are in a much comfortable situation without Steve Nash in the equation.

I already commented here about the situation of the Lakers, without AD and the team without chemistry, they will hardly be able to advance in the playoffs, that is, if they manage to qualify.

That was an important victory but too early to be worried if they will be able to be eligible in the playoffs. Even at the current 10th position, the Eastern Conference is not that heavily stacked and even the worst can make it to the Top 8 spot.

Zach Lavine just previously put up big numbers but rumor says that the Bulls want to trade him.

The reasons might be inconsistency or maybe, since Lavine is currently valued as a decent player, the Bulls will have the chance to acquire top-level role players if they market him. Besides, DeRozan's consistent performance should be accompanied by consistent teammates too.
