They've signed Myles Turner and then waived Damian Lillard to give space to the salary cap. I’m really hoping he ends up with the Warriors or at least a legit playoff contender.. just not the Lakers, please.
I don't think that we'd see Giannis go. But too many funny rumors about him going to the Warriors because he's seen wear a jersey, I'm not sure if that's a real thing or another AI image. Not gonna believe with all of those BS images and such but will wait for the official announcement if he's really out of the Bucks.

I don't think there is a problem with Damian Lillard because the Milwaukee Bucks will pay Lillard's remaining $113 million in 5 years. The only thing I don't know is if he signs with a team, will he still get paid that much?
Milwaukee Bucks signed Myles Turner to a 4 year, $107 million contract. I'm really surprised to see Turner on a team other than the Pacers.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander signed a 4 year, $285 million maximum contract extension with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander became the highest annual salary player in NBA history.

Fans are welcoming him with joyful comments. Knicks Fans Delighted To Sign Jordan Clarkson Following $14.2 Million Jazz Buyout: "Desperate Need Has Been Filled"Jordan Clarkson, the 11-year veteran in the NBA, reportedly intends to sign with the Knicks after he clears his waivers with the Jazz. He was expected to earn $14.2 million in the 2025-26 season, but both parties have mutually agreed to part ways, and now Clarkson is headed to New York to join the Knicks. Good news for Jordan Clarkson then. I thought that no team would like to take him because with the news that I've read. No team wants to trade with the Utah Jazz for him. So, the New York Knicks got more firepower with him coming from the bench.

And they waive Dame Lillard on top of top. I'm more on the Pacers, why the hell they didn't resigned Miles Turner? For sure Haliburton and Rick Carlisle are mad about the Pacers management not getting back Turner. Crazy moves in the last 24 hours, there could be more coming that's for sure. I haven't check Giannis social media though if he is happy with the Dame situation and the Turner signs up. One thing that I remember is that the Pacers hates the Bucks and now Milwaukee has to rub it in with them as they got their center and I would say one part why the Pacers reach the finals, at least when Turner is healthy. So it's going to be Kuzma, Porter, Trent Jr, Giannis and then Turner for the Bucks starting five.

The moves are coming fast now. Jordan Clarkson is going to sign with the Knicks. A good pickup for them. Kevin Looney head to the Pelicans with Jordan Poole. Brook Lopez heading to the Clippers. There’s even some talk that LeBron could be on the move as crazy as that sounds…
Clarkson at Knicks. Wow! Fans are welcoming him with joyful comments. Knicks Fans Delighted To Sign Jordan Clarkson Following $14.2 Million Jazz Buyout: "Desperate Need Has Been Filled"This is great news for Knicks man Clarkson is quality addition for their team. Now they have solid 2nd unit player and for sure that he can contribute a lot for Knicks. JC made a lot of good contribution on Jazz and became vital player on their rotation. So provably he can do the same and make Knicks more dangerous team to defeat.
Also a sad day for Warriors, Looney is departing on their team and he sign on https://bleacherreport.com/articles/25142790-kevon-looney-reportedly-agrees-16m-pelicans-contract-won-3-titles-warriorsThis is crazy and I thought he would last for more long years in Warriors knowing he's so useful on their rotation. But this already happen and now Looney and Poole team up together again on Pelicans. I don't think it's unexpected though, Looney's name has been floating around, I even thought that he will be involved in the Butler trade before, but it was Wiggins who they eventually let go. And you can see his minutes goes down because of Post and Jackson-Davis. On the other hand, there were reports that they are going to get Al Horford from Boston Celtics in replacement of Looney. Duncan Robinson to the Detroit Pistons, 3 year $48 million deal for this shooter. Perhaps the Pistons needed a outside threat, not really will give him enough minutes to play. But if he inside, expect him to spread the floor because he is a 3 point specialist.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander extended his contract. 4 more years with Thunder. Wise move. Bucks waived Lillard to get Myles Turner. Understandable as Lillard won't play next season due to his injury. After Nuggets got rid of MPJ, they get Valančiūnas in exchange for Šarić. Win for Nuggets. Jokić finally can get more depth.

Yeah this money is owed. Doesn't matter if Lillard signs somewhere else, he will get those millions every year for 5 years until the whole contract is paid. I mean, he will not find a new team now anyway, since he won't play the whole 25/26 season. Maybe Portland will give him a contract cause he was with them for a long time, like a sentimental gesture. Of course not to have him as a player, but to help him with his recovery. He could also help with mentorship.

This is unexpected, Looney has been with the Warriors but it's just pure business. We saw Klay leave the team where we thought that he'd retire with but no. Agree to that, business as usual and if they can use that slot and the cap in trading Looney then we should not be surprise, let see if how they'll be able to maximize the use of a past prime veteran compared to a more familiar with how the system works for the entire team, more trades are expected. Clarkson at Knicks. Wow! Fans are welcoming him with joyful comments. There are reports that the Golden State Warriors have already reached out to Dame to see about possibly getting him signed to the Warriors. A backcourt with Steph and Dame would be interesting. How can you cover two guards all the way to half court? I’m sure that would create some memorable moments.

MPJ leaving Denver isn't good at all, and Cam will not be good enough for them at all. I understand the logic and the desire to see Denver do great again, but I agree, their run is officially over. Not just because MPJ is gone, but because what that trade tells us.
It tells us that the ownership do not want to deal with a lot of money issues and all they want is to make sure that we are seeing how things could change for the long term on how to get better results with time. Denver ownership realized, their run is over, so they are jumping ship. Hell they would trade even Jokic, for a lot of first round picks if they could, to start over. Because having Jokic only, won't give you titles, so Murray is still a key piece to keep, but even then, just those two, won't be enough.

[/quote] I will share a short article for the Filipino player, Made specially for him by Peanut Gallery MediaJordan Clarkson is reportedly on his way to New York—and when the ink dries, he’ll make franchise history. According to multiple reports, Clarkson is expected to sign with the New York Knicks in the coming days, which would make him the first Filipino player in the team’s storied history. or a city with one of the largest Pinoy populations outside the Philippines, this isn’t just a roster move—it’s a cultural moment years in the making. And if the deal closes, Madison Square Garden is about to witness puso on full display. Clarkson, born to a Filipino mother and long regarded as the face of Philippine basketball on the global stage, brings not just buckets, but a legacy. He’s the first full-time NBA player to suit up for Gilas Pilipinas and has consistently represented the Filipino identity on and off the court. Now, he’s taking that same energy to the Mecca of basketball. Let’s not gloss over what this means culturally. New York City is home to over 80,000 Filipinos—one of the largest Pinoy communities in the U.S.—yet they’ve never seen one of their own wear the blue and orange. Clarkson’s arrival isn’t just a signing; it’s a statement. It says that the Knicks are finally opening their doors to one of the most passionate, loyal, and hoops-obsessed cultures in the world. On the hardwood, Clarkson offers the Knicks what they’ve sorely needed: shot creation, playoff experience, and a swagger that doesn’t shrink under the lights. Coming off a strong stint with the Utah Jazz, where he averaged double-digit points for six straight seasons and snagged the NBA Sixth Man of the Year award in the 2021 season, Clarkson enters a Knicks system that thrives on toughness, depth, and versatility. Off the court, he’s a walking brand. With his unique fashion sense, multicultural charisma, and Gen Z appeal, Clarkson is a marketing dream—and exactly the type of personality that thrives in a city like New York. Expect Filipino flags waving courtside, jeepney murals in Queens, and chants of “Puso!” in MSG before long. This isn’t just a feel-good moment. It’s a milestone. For decades, Filipinos have been some of the NBA’s most passionate fans—organizing watch parties, buying league passes, and filling comment sections with heart emojis and "Laban Pilipinas!" chants. And now, one of their own is finally repping on the most iconic court in the league. Clarkson is no longer just a representative of Filipino talent—he’s a bridge. A bridge between Southeast Asia and the NBA, between immigrant families and mainstream media, between Filipino dreams and global stages. So to every Filipino New Yorker who’s ever felt unseen in the stands—this one’s for you. And to the rest of the league: welcome to the era of Filipino fire in New York.https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=122157908618392503&set=a.122125774004392503

Holy crap! In an unexpected move, Myles Turner has signed with the Milwaukee Bucks. They are really trying to keep Giannis around I guess, or maybe this is part of the rebuild… Either way a great signing for the Bucks and totally unexpected. The Lakers and the Pacers have to be unhappy about this.
Damn, that's a surprise! After Brook Lopez signed with the Clippers I already said to myself "well, that might be it for Giannis" cause not only didn't they seem to get anybody yet, they also are losing valuable assets. Signing Turner of course is a great sign basically telling the rest of the league to not sign off on the Bucks yet. Obviously more things have to happen since Dame will be out next season and they definitely need more production. Yeah, the Milwaukee Bucks would at least need to strengthen some part of their roster while Dame is gone . If they cannot afford a mid-star guard anymore, then a center will probably be a good choice. Myles Turner is just like Brooks, but younger. He can also shoot threes and actually have a mid-range shooting. Giannis will have a good option if he needs to pass that ball. Milwaukee wasn't a team with cap space. The franchise created the necessary room to sign Turner, the top free agent on the market, by waiving future Hall of Famer Damian Lillard, an All-Star in his two seasons in Milwaukee who was owed more than $110 million over the final two years of his contract. https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/45636299/nba-free-agency-2025-ripple-effects-myles-turner-damian-lillard-newsRisky and expensive move, but it could be worth it. They need to maximize Giannis' usage while he is still young, and if they badly want another ring, this is actually a great move.

Signing Turner of course is a great sign basically telling the rest of the league to not sign off on the Bucks yet. Obviously more things have to happen since Dame will be out next season and they definitely need more production. Well, the Bucks have decided to waive Damian Lillard and Giannis is not happy about it. Dame is coming off injury and probably won't be the same guy, but the way they released him is going to seriously hurt their future. They still owe him so much money and they're spreading the salary over the next 5 years. That basically means they aren't going to have money to sign anyone else after Turner... That sure makes it seem like this is a rebuild move and not a move to keep Giannis... I wouldn't be surprised to see more trades ahead for the Bucks. And it was said that Lillard was caught off-guard, but in any case he will be very happy to choose which team he can play now. He can even just signed for a mid level contract and he will still be good. I don't know about this report, but him in the Warriors? That will be crazy with Dame and Curry playing all together. But Dame is injured so teams that are going to take him will have to accept that he will not to rehabilitate for long months. In another crazy news, after Jackson sign a massive contract with the Memphis, he suffered a toe injury while playing off-site of the team’s facility and will require a surgical procedure. Damn, another set back for them. How about Dennis Schroder playing with the Sacramento Kings? We don't know how many teams Dennis have in his career, but we all remember him as bouncing back in the league after declining that huge offer from the Lakers years ago.

He's really good, Damian Lillard will get this money even without playing and I think he'll sign a new contract with another team after a year. He'll get double income.
Jarren Jackson Jr. and Memphis Grizzlies are renewing their contract. He'll earn $240 million in 5 years.
NBA teams continue to give away money.

Future is uncertain with Lillard in this situation since he's 34 years old now and provably that he need long time to recover from his severe injury and provably that there's no team would take a risk to waste their resources waiting for injured player to comeback. Also we are not really so sure that he perform the same after he recover from his injury that's why his situation is really bad right now. But hopefully Lillard can still sign with good teams and we can see him doing his dame time thing on the court. We just don't know his what will be his salary but for sure this will get affected on these bad situation happened to him. If he just choose to stay on Portland maybe he won't get waived and this team will wait for his return.

I think we should be used to this trend by now. Most likely, cases of NBA team management easily trading their key and role players will become increasingly common. As for the Nuggets, I think that Porter's trade will have a negative impact on their results next season.

I was reading about the M.Beasley detention and how he was involved in gambling activities.
When i always read something like this in any sport i really cant believe, how you cant be this idiot?
I mean you won a ton of money in your normal job as a basketball player why do you need to gamble? Are you sick or silly?
His case is still that of allegation as it's under investigation whether or not he's guilty. With the investigations ongoing we don't know if he's going to plead guilty just like Toronto’s Jontay Porter, but only time would tell if he is innocent of the charge or not. It's very saddened to hear about sports athletes that are being paid such huge wages as salaries still have to indulge themselves in such dishonourable behaviours that is capable of dragging their career to the mud.

As for the Nuggets, I think that Porter's trade will have a negative impact on their results next season. Its been started by players and now the management became more wiser for retaining their players now. If the stars would just have good relationship on their management I guess this kind of situation will not happen. But I think this one will became normal now especially that for sure their management would pay more attention on their business side rather than thinking about the status of their player. Also somehow Porter jr is a big loss for Nuggets. But since they acquire good players and for getting Bruce Brown on their team I think they are still fine. They just need to work out adjusting their rotation so that they can work everything well.

Exactly. It turns out he’s having financial problems. But he’s already earning a decent amount of money, so maybe he’s really been into gambling for a long time and his losses got bigger and bigger overtime. That would explain everything. A guy earning that much shouldn’t be in financial trouble if he’s managing his money properly. If he’s proven guilty, that would probably be the biggest regret of his life.

How about Dennis Schroder playing with the Sacramento Kings? We don't know how many teams Dennis have in his career, but we all remember him as bouncing back in the league after declining that huge offer from the Lakers years ago.
I honestly thought he was already set to retire, so I was surprised when I saw the news that he signed with the Kings, and with a pretty solid deal too. Three years for $45 million isn’t bad at all. At least he secured a good contract before eventually hanging it up. I believe he still has a lot to offer and the Kings definitely need someone like him. ever since Fox got traded, the team hasn’t looked the same. Maybe with Schroder’s playoff experience, he can help bring stability and leadership to the roster.
