Just saw this. https://theplayoffs.news/en/updated-la-clippers-roster-for-nba-2025-26-season-after-signing-bradley-beal/Revamped LA Clippers Boast Two-Way Depth What do you guys think? Is it a Championship caliber? IMO, if healthy. That's the main problem of the Clippers. A healthy roster. When I remember the health of players, it's always Kawhi Leonard who comes to my mind. Why? Well, despite having 2 rings, that dude has been in and out of the hospital. Without him, the Clippers are a big-small lineup. Harden makes the play, and either he shoots the ball or plays with a big man, Zubac or Lopez. Is Beal really a good addition for them, or will it wreck their offensive plays? I think Beal needs to become a legit shooter who plays outside. Become like a wingman for Harden, and maybe it will work out for them. Yeah, if health they're a good team but we always get to see these good teams with all of these transfers. But when the actual season has come, we'll never know if they're the same team that we'd thought that's good until the end. With these big men that they have, I don't know if they won't dominate in the inside and they have to utilize this line up very well.

Damian Lillard is back at Trail Blazers now where everything started for him after playing at Bucks for 2 years. His statistics generally downgraded after signing for Bucks. It can be related to his getting old as well of course. He is 35 years old now. But we will find out next season. However he is still suffering an achilles injury if I'm not wrong. Will he be able to catch up with the new season? Pat Bev said on a post that Dame isn't wrong. Not gonna chase rings anymore but he's back where the love is and that's where he has started, the Portland Blazers. Well, they've got Jrue there that he can play with and also the rookie center, Yang Hansen that he can mentor. Indeed, he will be playingi in front of those people who cheer him the most! For players who loves playing the game, it's really enjoyable when you know you are been watch by those fans who loves to see your performance game after game, the reaction of the crowd when it's Dame time, for sure it's different when he's in Blazers uniform. Welcome Back Dame, just enjoy and make that comeback worth for those blazers fans who loves and idolize you! It looks like Dame has decided to give up on trying to get even one ring in his career since he decided to return to the Blazers. Even if Dame performs in a Blazers uniform, just like he did in his prime, he still won't win the title, as the Blazers are a relatively weak team and clearly not a title contender.

Honestly, I’m that Ben Simmons is still active despite no presence at all on NBA. Technically, the current roster is the same roster minus Powell on the last season good run by Clippers. I think this still good on actual with minor adjustments. They have a full year to make this line-up work. Actually Clips just need to improve their bench team to make this work properly since their core players still the same.

Seems that he will just enjoy his remaining years to play, with the inuries he got chasing ring might no longer a mission to him, just play and keep moving forward, not unless blazers will find ways to equipt him with decent support, we can't conclude yet as the next season yet to start and they've got till the trade deadline to push for good players who can support Dame if they still wanted to be competitive in chasing the ring.

He just got unlucky with injuries, but it’s all good. He earned well during his career thanks to that max contract, and retiring with the team that gave him that deal would be a great way to end it. Of course, he still has the skills, but his body isn’t the same anymore. even so, just having him on the roster can draw in fans and help boost viewership.

It is true that smart is a player that would help them on defense, and on offense they have enough players so they do not need another offensive guy. They already have what they need and because of that they should not really focus on whatever they lack, and that is defense. If they could also get a decent big, who can grab boards and protect inside, then they are going to be contenders for sure.
However, so far they are not doing that great on that part, and that is going to cost them a ton. Hayes isn't enough, they need someone who is much better there, I am not saying go get AD back, but they need someone who could be good enough and be playoff level player at least, otherwise they are not going to get any good results.
Smart is there for defense not offense so its okay, also its the same position for him when he is on boston, you are correct when you said they need someone like ad caliber, but currently they got the multiverse version of AD, ayton probably will show some brilliance if he can adapt with luka, but if there is going to be drama like what he did in suns, that would be another problem, adding to the lebron management issue, which we are still waiting what will happen, although were not sure if they are going to trade lebron and focus on luka and lakers future.

Hahahaha lmao. Marcus Smart is a good defender but he is a liability on offense which he frequently taking too much error. But seriously this might work too considering that Lakers has a lot of good attacker. Smart should adjust to defensive position only just like what Caruso doing on OKC. He will be tossed by Lakers immediately if keeps messing with his poor offense. With Luka and LeBron on the team, it will already take a long time for Smart to get the ball on offense. When you add Reaves and Ayton into the mix too, nobody's really expecting Smart to carry any major scoring load. If he just hits his career averages which is 10ppg, that would be more than enough. As a guard, he doesn't even have to carry the ball, because Luka and LeBron handle that most of the time anyway. He just needs to do his job in defense. During his stint with the Celtics, he had Tatum, Brown and White on his side that's why they don't need him in terms of offense, and he can just do what he usually does which is to defend, and defend. Now with the Lakers, like you said, they have offensive-minded players like the ones you said, so he can flourish there IMO because he doesn't need to do some offensive stuff, but he can focus on defense only. I don't think that the Lakers get Smart because they want him to help the team offensively. They got him because they just lost their best defender in Finney-Smith, and now they need an exchange to that hence, they got Smart. He might be a liability on offense yes, but he's still one of the best (for me) when it comes to defense. The problem lies when he's also a liability on defense and decision-making as well then they might just waive him mid-season or end of the season.

Lakers expect him to contribute on defensive ends and he will replace the spot of Finney Smith. He can be a tone setter on defensive ends that's why he's really great addition on Lakers especially they need people can defend the perimeter and make the life of teams front court hard. There are rumors that he will play as starter on Lakers and wonder on how he can blend together with two ball dominant superstar in their team. So lets just see what adjustment they would made, but I really think Smart is good to be their six man or came from bench since for sure he could deliver more compare if he come together with their big stars.

The Lakers are already solid on defense, their real problem is offense. Outside of Luka and LeBron, they don’t really have consistent shooters. Compared to teams like the Pacers or OKC, almost everyone on those rosters can shoot, even their bigs. That’s a big reason why they made it to the Finals. What the Lakers need is a better balance between offense and defense, and honestly, they lost that when they traded Davis for Luka. It’s not that easy to find a center like AD who can do what he does. Finding a Luka-type playmaker is actually easier than finding a dominant big like Davis.

This problem mainly because most of their roster is composed of young players which is not given enough playing time since their rosters revolve mainly on their starters. Unlike team that you mention OKC and Pacers which they are rotating their rosters quiet well that gives their benches a chance to shine and improve. They have a great coaches for trusting their bench do the work when their starter is resting.

I just remembered their last few games while watching them live. It's mostly Harden to Zubac kind of play, and it worked pretty well for them. Zubac is growing, and he is now 28 years old, the right number for a prime basketball player. I think he is becoming better at doing his job below the rim and also becoming an offensive weapon for the Clippers. Zubac's stats during the series against the Denver Nuggets were phenomenal. Double-double in 4 out of the 7 games and just below 3 turnovers. With Lopez there, he will get some good rest and avoid a tiring 40-minute game.

Do you think Rockets have a chance for their 3rd NBA championship in team history after a really long break? I mean whether they have a chance next season.
Those 2 titles were achieved by a back-to-back in 1994 and 1995. Ever since they couldn't win anything. Signing KD is a good step taken for it. After filling Jalen Green's space too maybe they can fight for it next time.

That's a huge upgrade for them. Considering KD's age, this season might be their only real shot at a championship. Alperen will be even better this season. Thompson, Eason and Smith Jr. are all more experienced now too. I think they have a good chance, but there are a lot of teams with serious potential in the West. It'll be an even tougher fight than last season. If they finish the regular season in a good position again, they'll have a more experienced play-off run this time.

He will still get some teams but it's completely different setting but with Blazers, he's confident with them.

Rockets have strengthened their team even further with the addition of Kevin Durant. I'm confident they’ll finish near the top next season, but if you ask whether they’ll make it to the NBA Finals. I don’t think it’ll happen this season. That’s because their rivals have very strong squads and most of them managed to keep their core players. I believe the Rockets can become even stronger with one or two more solid additions, and maybe then they could have a real shot at reaching the Finals. But those additions need to be high-quality players.

He might be a great player, but for whatever reason it doesn’t seem to translate to team success. Maybe Houston will have the secret sauce, but I doubt it.

The small Japanese star just got signed by the Bulls. Breaking: Chicago Bulls Sign Fan Favorite Yuki KawamuraAccording to ESPN's Shams Charania, the Bulls and Kawamura have agreed to a two-way contract for next season. Kawamura posted averages of 9.6 points, 6.6 assists, and 2.2 steals across five Summer League games coming off the bench. While Kawamura could've signed anywhere, he's staying put in Chicago. His numbers probably came from garbage time since he barely gets used, maybe because of his size. But this little guy’s got talent for sure. He got some attention during the Olympics when his team pulled off a few upsets. Hopefully with the Bulls, he’ll be used more effectively. Good luck to him.

Yup, and with more good publicities and a winning game under his name, viewerships coming from old and new fans can boost their profits, Just like you mentioned he already earned decently from those max contract that he got from blazers managements, now that he got few seasons left due to his injuries, he can enjoy playing with the team who gave him the chance to become what he was known now. Still another season to play his best and continue giving his fans reasons to watch out and support him and the rest of the team.

He's sure got some talent and I am happy that he's signed by the Bulls. The Memphis has wasted his talent when they've got him already and just let him go. He's actually a good substitute when Bane was no longer with them. But then, we have to move on and wherever he is right now, it's the Bulls that took care of him and given him the chance to showcase his capacity even in the Summer League. If it's not with the Summer League, he would probably go back to Japan and just go on with the B League but the risk and time he's put and taken is worth it.
