Do you think Rockets have a chance for their 3rd NBA championship in team history after a really long break? I mean whether they have a chance next season.

Those 2 titles were achieved by a back-to-back in 1994 and 1995. Ever since they couldn't win anything. Signing KD is a good step taken for it. After filling Jalen Green's space too maybe they can fight for it next time.

Instead of an inconsistent and reckless scorer, they got one of the best shooters in basketball history. That's a huge upgrade for them. Considering KD's age, this season might be their only real shot at a championship. Alperen will be even better this season. Thompson, Eason and Smith Jr. are all more experienced now too. I think they have a good chance, but there are a lot of teams with serious potential in the West. It'll be an even tougher fight than last season. If they finish the regular season in a good position again, they'll have a more experienced play-off run this time.

Well, they've got Jrue there that he can play with and also the rookie center, Yang Hansen that he can mentor.

We're just happy that the Blazers still accepted and offered him a contract. Because if it's the other teams, they might take him anymore and with that injury that he's got.

He will still get some teams but it's completely different setting but with Blazers, he's confident with them.

I'm confident they’ll finish near the top next season, but if you ask whether they’ll make it to the NBA Finals. I don’t think it’ll happen this season.
That’s because their rivals have very strong squads and most of them managed to keep their core players.
I believe the Rockets can become even stronger with one or two more solid additions, and maybe then they could have a real shot at reaching the Finals.

Kawamura posted averages of 9.6 points, 6.6 assists, and 2.2 steals across five Summer League games coming off the bench. While Kawamura could've signed anywhere, he's staying put in Chicago.

His numbers probably came from garbage time since he barely gets used, maybe because of his size. But this little guy’s got talent for sure.
He got some attention during the Olympics when his team pulled off a few upsets. Hopefully with the Bulls, he’ll be used more effectively.

Seems that he will just enjoy his remaining years to play, with the inuries he got chasing ring might no longer a mission to him, just play and keep moving forward, not unless blazers will find ways to equipt him with decent support, we can't conclude yet as the next season yet to start and they've got till the trade deadline to push for good players who can support Dame if they still wanted to be competitive in chasing the ring.

He just got unlucky with injuries, but it’s all good. He earned well during his career thanks to that max contract, and retiring with the team that gave him that deal would be a great way to end it. Of course, he still has the skills, but his body isn’t the same anymore. even so, just having him on the roster can draw in fans and help boost viewership.

Yup, and with more good publicities and a winning game under his name, viewerships coming from old and new fans can boost their profits, Just like you mentioned he already earned decently from those max contract that he got from blazers managements, now that he got few seasons left due to his injuries, he can enjoy playing with the team who gave him the chance to become what he was known now.

Still another season to play his best and continue giving his fans reasons to watch out and support him and the rest of the team.

He's sure got some talent and I am happy that he's signed by the Bulls. The Memphis has wasted his talent when they've got him already and just let him go. He's actually a good substitute when Bane was no longer with them. But then, we have to move on and wherever he is right now, it's the Bulls that took care of him and given him the chance to showcase his capacity even in the Summer League. If it's not with the Summer League, he would probably go back to Japan and just go on with the B League but the risk and time he's put and taken is worth it.

He's sure got some talent and I am happy that he's signed by the Bulls. The Memphis has wasted his talent when they've got him already and just let him go. He's actually a good substitute when Bane was no longer with them. But then, we have to move on and wherever he is right now, it's the Bulls that took care of him and given him the chance to showcase his capacity even in the Summer League. If it's not with the Summer League, he would probably go back to Japan and just go on with the B League but the risk and time he's put and taken is worth it.

Yeah, at least he was given a contract to show his talent again. Admit it or not, he is a fan favorite because of the manner on giving passes or assists to his team mates. He is small but he can read plays and again a good passer. CP3 and Lillard story, they are going back to their previous teams, and it might be historically good for them as they could retire for good for their old team and most likely their jersey numbers are going to be hang in the rafters. And who wouldn't forget about the Lob City with a prime Blake and those posterize dunks? Love to see CP3 with the Clippers, although I don't think that he will get the minutes as they got Harden. Although I'm thinking if there is still a beef with those two? I mean when they are team mates with the Rockets, it was said that Harden was the one who tells the management that they should get ride of CP3 because on how they've lost the Warriors that time.

He's in his way to becoming a perfect guard. We know that there's some bias and culture difference if the player is an Asian but I'm happy to see an Asian man, from Japan that's able to sign a contract with the Bulls. If Yuta didn't chose to play in Japan, there will be few japanese players that are active there including Rui. Yuki sure is a good addition to the Bulls and he's one to be awaited for every game they play because of how he's a likeable guy and very athletic despite his height difference, he's proving that anyone even with that lacking can make a difference per play.

No doubt Houston is very solid with addition of KD now that Amen Thompson and Sengun are already developed and very consistent with their performance.

Jalen Green is the only reason why they fell short last year since he didn’t perform well while the team is expecting good coming from him. I’m sure KD will be the best player to replace him due to consistency and reliability of KD.

My main concern about their team is their bench. They have no solid bench when their first 5 will rest especially for KD rest time.

I'm guessing the Suns benefit far more from that trade than the Rockets, but we'll see.  I feel pretty confident if you compare the wins of each team from last season, the Suns will improve quite a bit while the Rockets win total will be flat or down, even with Kevin Durant.  I'd love to be proven wrong because I actually like KD, but experience seeing these sorts of trades go down in the past has me thinking that KD will continue to chase rings while catching disappointment.

Good point, it all depends on how all those known stars will blend their chemistries from each other and how the coach will rotate them accordingly, like you said they've got deep squad with those known names, together with their role players they can established a good and competitive squad to chase for the title, more on how the coaches will blend them and create that trust to one another.
