With Powell out for the Clippers, they expect Beal to be their 2nd scorer besides Harden. Beal averaged around 18 PPG last season with the Phoenix which for me is still helpful, but doesn't equal to the amount of money that he's getting. It's good that the Suns bought him out already because his contract really is a big mess (shoutout to the Washington Wizards for giving him a contract like that).
The Clippers are lowkey winning in trades this off season as well. I mean they got Brook Lopez as their supporting big, and at the same time, they also got John Collins which is a good defender and can stretch the floor as well, and they got Beal as well in a friendly contract. As long as both Harden and Kawhi will be healthy especially during the playoffs, I will not be surprised if they will reach the NBA Finals TBH despite the stacked Western Conference. They still have a good depth and in today's era, the deeper bench players that you have, the higher your chances of winning a title.
That's the important thing, as long as Kawhi and Harden are healthy the chance is nit by far, knowing how those two scorers shared the court they've got a good blend of chemistries, theyjust fell short last season but now that Kawhi being kawhai again, together with Zubac, Collins and Beal that's a decent core it's more now on the side of the coaching staff if how they'll be playing those stars together and what system to run that will going to be fit on both defensive and offensive sides. Looks like they're trying hard to get Chris Paul to come back as well. They don't have much in the way of bench players for their guards. I think they only have one reserve guard who can actually play... Chris Paul seems like an obvious fit to come back to LA. Then there's the fact that LeBron has always wanted to play with Chris Paul, and Chris Paul went to the Finals with DeAndre Ayton, so there's an argument to make that CP3 should finally make his way to the Lakers (they traded for him when Kobe was on the team but the league reversed it) for a final season for him and Bron.

Is the Big3 League really that big in other countries? Just curious because I am getting some notifications from it. I guess if you want to watch your favorite players which are now veterans, the Big3 is where you should watch. Anyway, I like to see some good rumors and what-ifs while the NBA is in hiatus. Just like this one. https://www.sportingnews.com/ca/nba/denver-nuggets/news/anonymous-execut-nuggets-threat-land-215-million-lakers-star/71263dd3ab40ac36f2ff8537Anonymous executive names Nuggets as threat to land $215 million Lakers starAccording to a recent report from Benedetto Vitale of ClutchPoints, an anonymous NBA executive believes the Nuggets will have an opportunity to find one in the near future with current Los Angeles Laker star Luka Doncic. What if? This will actually be the recipe for another Nuggets championship. Luka with Jokic, and Murray as the shooter, without MPJ in the roster anymore. It's actually a strong roster with the 3 stars healthy. The NBA type of game doesn't play defense anymore, so yes, they could get a ring with that. The Nuggets played 7 games in the playoffs against the OKC. That means a lot, and adding Luka will get them a big plus.

LeBron James is expected to announce his retirement after the 2025–26 season. He’s made it clear that he wants another ring before calling it quits. And with how things are going between him and the Lakers, it’s obvious he won’t be with them for his farewell tour. An insider even mentioned that the Lakers are prioritizing the 2027 season over 2025 and 2026.
So, the best possible landing spot would be the Cavs. Honestly, it makes the most sense for him to return to Cleveland and end his career there. LeBron on the Cavs just hits different, it’s the team that drafted him, and it’s where everything began. Who knows? Maybe he’s the missing piece they need to win a chip.

He's got his chips there and I agree that it will make sense if the Cavs take him, make his retirement there and retire his jersey too. From being a rookie, to a star with that team might really take that chance if possible. He's been out in Cavs and then made a return and then out again, it won't be bad if he comes back there for the 3rd time.

I also don't think the Nuggets have enough pieces for doing such a trade. This rumor doesn't seem very realistic to me. Of course, anything can happen in the NBA. Considering how Luka left the Mavs, you can't rule anything out.

But I would agree that everything is possible now. Before there are only a few teams that can make a big 3. But now, it's totally different, of course, there is the salary cap, but teams are smart enough to go and maneuver around it so that they won't go over. I think the Nuggets are still a good team even without MPJ. They already developed Braun to be their next MPJ that's why they are wiling to trade MPJ already.

Luka will probably stay with the Lakers. He’s a big draw, and the team makes more money when he’s playing alongside LeBron. I think the Mavs have already moved on, they’ve got a new roster now and even landed the first pick. Who knows, maybe that guy ends up becoming the new face of the Mavericks. Just imagine how dominant they’ll be in the paint with Davis and the other bigs. It’s going to be huge if they can also lock down the perimeter on defense.

As for the Nuggets, they cant afford the value for Luka they need to go out huge loss for this. MPJ is a good thing to trade and get more players. I think Nuggets will be stronger this coming season than the previous one.

They automatically have chemistry together and imagine how dangerous they are when Luka play on point then you have Jokic can dominate in the point also could score on perimeter. But sad to say its like this will not gonna happen for now since Lakers would provably lock in Luka and they try to secure him for long time. But if it happens that Jokic want to be traded in Lakers for sure that the management would find ways this trade will happen. This will be great in Lakers if they could able to get Jokic since this will be huge for them on market also on their championship run.

Can Cleveland win a championship? I doubt it. They'll lose in the playoffs before too long. If he wants to win a championship next season and win another ring, he'll need a better team. He's still very athletic and a true superstar, but he can't win a championship on his own; he needs a few more players. LeBron and Donovan Mitchell could make a good duo, but I definitely don't think they'll be enough. He could win a ring with a team like GSW, but even that would be tough

They lose on playoffs against Indiana because they don’t have Garland which is one of the main scorer of Cavs together with Mitchell. Assuming they will have complete roster and in addition with James which provides leadership through experience I think Cavs will have a good chance for Championship.

He could win a ring with a team like GSW, but even that would be tough Yes they can. They lose on playoffs against Indiana because they don’t have Garland which is one of the main scorer of Cavs together with Mitchell. Assuming they will have complete roster and in addition with James which provides leadership through experience I think Cavs will have a good chance for Championship. I am still looking for CAVS retirement year with LBJ. this is not possible. After the last contract for the LA, King will go back to CAVS for the last ride. They can still do it. even the King is old, He is not showing it on his stats, he can still shoot, 3, he can still dunk. Lebron can still do it!

Well, if LeBron wants to win another ring in his final season, I think he should look at a more competitive team instead of the Cavs. Earlier, there were rumors that LeBron might move to the Mavs, and I think that would be more or less the optimal option for him.

I’m impressed that Kawhai is not injured on the playoffs despite having a tough battle which normally sent him to injury zone due to his intense physical game when he is playing. I have no doubts with Kawhi capabilities but Harden is always choking on crucial games especially on playoffs. He is only good on regular season or in playoffs matches that they have clear advantage against the other team. Harden always choke when he is needed the most. He almost got that shot to the finals if he didn't choke against the Bucks, that season playing for the Nets with KD and Kyrie that's decent opportunity they almost makes it to the finals, and like you've said in terms of Kawhi there's no question as long as he's healthy the chance of Clippers is decent though it's a team efforts and everyone needs to contribute to whatever role they've got, let see if how they gonna maximize their rotation to give Kawhi decent rest and not to push that much preventing him to get injured while still in the early season.

The problem is, unless LBJ agrees to a significant pay cut there is not team that's competing at the moment that could afford him and his 54 or whatever it is million per season. Many teams already struggle to stay under those set aprons, taking the risk of taking an old superstar on is just too high. I don't understand why any team would want to get him anyway. He most likely brings Bronny, which is already a waste of a roster spot, he brings distraction and the productivity is not what it's supposed to be as well, for obvious reasons.

LeBron and Donovan Mitchell could make a good duo, but I definitely don't think they'll be enough. He could win a ring with a team like GSW, but even that would be tough The Cavaliers can win the Eastern Conference since both the Pacers and the Celtics are undermanned for the whole season, and the only competitor that I'm seeing is the Knicks. However, I don't see them winning against either the Thunder, and TBH, even the Nuggets. Le-GM and Mitchell can be a good duo, but we haven't seen it. As for him going to the Warriors, I don't think that it will happen because he will just be added to the list of old superstars alongside Butler, Curry and Green. Lebron landing on the Cavaliers? That's possible, but only after his current contract since he will become a free agent at that time. The question now is, will he really retire after the 2025-2026 NBA season? I mean for real. If he wants to win a ring, he must join a team where they're established already to be a title contender like the Thunder, or the Nuggets, or maybe the Rockets. He can join into a team where they can win a title even without him. That is if Le-GM wanted to accept veteran minimum or low-salary contract.

I believe his contract will be much lower now since he knew he is already near for retirement. You’re correct that there’s only few team is willing to pay 50M per year on a player that is not already on his prime. They merely just paying for a premium that doesn’t have an equivalent output for the pay grade. In addition to the deal is Bronny might request a contract too. So good luck.

Well, I kinda agree with you about GSW, but they would be way above the salary cap. The question is, are they willing to go that far just to get James? but that would be lit. Imagine Curry and James playing together as Warriors and during a farewell tour at that. I can already imagine ticket prices skyrocketing, especially at their home court. But he could also win with the Cavs. Aside from Mitchell, they have Garland, Mobley, and Allen, all three averaging double digits. Plus, they acquired Nance Jr. and Lonzo Ball as well. Just because they choked in the playoffs doesn't mean they're not title contenders.

It's a business if GSW can take that risk and in return they can take the advantage to sell on LeBron's few more time in this league, and like what you've said, they can enjoy the ticket price and still be having huge amount of profits, it's just a matter of negotiations if both teams agreed then we might see LeBron and Curry playing alongside each other, they might got a chance to win another ring if the combination blends well.
