The Jazz have insisted there’s no issue and that Bailey will be in Utah when the summer league training camp begins. Plus of all of this you have to be very cautious about this statement, most of them only receive mansions where they live but they dont receive the property itself for them, i mean is more like a rent mansion and not one for them actually.

Nah, he really didn't want Utah to pick him, and he even rejected their work out offer too, he knew he would be to picked anyway, he is the number 5 draft pick, so even if Utah didn't, someone else would, he wanted to go to Nets, or Wizards, and not to Utah. And in the end, Utah still did drafted him, even though he made it clear that he didn't want to be there.

So in the end, we should remember that while teams do have the advantage and could draft whoever they want, if they do, then they are facing the issues of player not wanting to be there, and it's up to the team to convince the player to come play. Sure the player can't just get to another team, but they can decline to play, and not take the money and just sit out and wait. He is young enough, he will force them to traded him if he wants to, or ask them for stupid stuff like this.

Reaves is more talented than Schroder also he's 27 years old so he has many things to offer.

I don't see any update yet towards possible trade or teams that are willing to sign Reaves, but let the latest updates about this since its interesting to see if Reaves would also perform the same as what he did in Lakers.

For sure that this is huge loss for Lakers since Reaves could step up especially if Bron or either Luka would struggle.

It’s time for Reaves to be tested, let’s see if he can still put up great numbers with another team.

As for Schroder, he’s already proven himself. He’s played for several teams and was always heavily used. Back in his prime with the Atlanta Hawks, you could really see his scoring ability and how solid he was as a point guard.

But with Reaves, I’m still not fully convinced. We’ve only seen him shine with the Lakers. For me, the jury’s still out on how good he really is.

Hopefully it won't messed up for his future as we all remember what happened to Schroder after declining that offer from the Lakers, he got struggled and needed to keep finding the right place even the contract is not what he's aiming, I guess it's a gamble that Reaves is staking right now, he needs to have a good handler who can sign him for the contract value that he's aiming or ight be close or better from what he's demanding.

Very brutal, but this is the world they live in. Just imagine that you take part of the draft and not knowing that the owner already had his plans in mind that after the draft you will be fired. But I guess he is man enough to accept it and maybe another team will pick him up with his experience as he is the one who brought the Raptors 1st championship in 2019.

Since the Raptors already won a championship, and I’m sure the goal is to get back to the finals. But it’s been a few years now, and IIRC they haven’t even made it past the second round since then. Maybe it’s long overdue ,we just haven’t been paying close attention.

The Raptors' championship was very important, I was sure that they would never be able to perform like that again. Anyway, looking at the years that have passed, they never reached that quality of players, there was always something missing in the roster. They didn't succeed in the playoffs anyway.

With Kawhi Leonard and Kyle Lowry, they showed that something can be done without having a big superstar on the roster.

If Yang Hansen performs well he might get the same hype as Yao, but he will be a different player since because his game is totally different. The way he moves, spreads the floor and everything he is likely more close to Jokic. Yao was a straight up center with a strong post game. Looking at some highlights from Yang Hansen you will see that his game is much more flexible than just putting him in the zone and give him the ball.

Well, if he had trained and honed his skills only in Russia, I wouldn't have expected anything outstanding from him because basketball training there is at a rather weak level. It's much weaker than in Europe and the USA. But as I see it, Demin spent the last few years in Spain playing for the junior A team and Real Madrid B, and then moved to the US to play for BYU. In other words, Demin may have some potential, given his experience in Spain and the US, although his stats for BYU aren't particularly impressive.
By the way, if you look at past seasons, you'll notice that some Russian players have already tried to play in the NBA many times, but as a rule, they usually didn't perform well and didn't stay there for long. The only exception is Kirilenko.

If Yang Hansen performs well he might get the same hype as Yao, but he will be a different player since because his game is totally different. Well, the fact that France fought US in the FIBA World Cup Finals a years ago is just a proof that they're improving. They're producing quality players, and we've seen it in Wemby, Robert, and maybe we can add Batum, and Yabusele as well. The future of France national basketball is bright.

I have no idea with that Egor Demin, and Hugo Gonzales, but as for the one that the Blazers drafted, he's being called as the "Asian Jokic" because of his capabilities to pass, rebound and score, but looking at his stats in the CBA, he's more comparable to Alperen Sengun than Jokic... at least for now. This for most is the most surprising draft of this year because he's projected to be in the 2nd round. I wonder why the Blazers choose to draft him knowing that they already have Ayton, Robert Williams and Donovan Clingan as their big. Maybe they'll try and trade Ayton for more young role players? Whatever the case is, the Blazers took this risk because they have high expectations towards the kiddo.
Anyway, a player swap happened as Lonzo Ball has traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for Isaac Okoro. I can't see who's the winner on this one because the Cavaliers might have the biggest trade steal in this off-season, or worst trade as well. It will all depend on how healthy Lonzo Ball will be once we enter the regular season again.

He really deserve more bigger contract since he show quality performance and have promising feature.

Although some critics says that he is a good role player but we can't deny the fact that he have star potential if given a chance. His stats on 2024-2025 is 20+ pts  4.5 rebounds and also 5.8 assist, He is lethal shooter from 3s and that's really huge and make him eligible to get more bigger contract for another team.

So let's see what he can get from another team and hopefully he won't became a Schroder 2.0 since its really a huge waste of money if that happens.

It’s already proven that developing younger core player with potential to improve long term is much better rather than choosing a player with high salary that is not consistent at all.

Lakers can squeeze a lot of young core in exchange for Austin from team that still doesn’t have solid star player. They already have Luka so I believe every player now on Lakers is already disposable to build around Luka.

The basketball player who caught my attention the most this season is Khaman Maluach. He had a very difficult life, he struggled with poverty and war. Despite that, he will play in the NBA now and he even made history as the highest drafted African player. In the trade involving Durant and other players, Maluach is also included.

Most player that came from poverty and manage to play in NBA always humble and eager to play 100%if given the chance to play more time.

I think Siakam has same background that’s why he is monster and never get tired unlike the typical US draft player that always so proud of themselves.

Cavs will probably push for a championship and take more trades and sign-ups because they really played well last season, taking the top spot in the East with 64 wins.

Lonzo Ball is trash IMO. He has played 287 games and missed 211. Who would want that type of player on their team? Someone who is available for half the season at most and comes with a ton of baggage and a sense of entitlement that is nuts. Cavs are basically praying the guy is available and will likely be disappointed because he's made of glass.
