And this is the same reason why this championship is so sweet for the organization. They have been battling injuries, and then Durant left them to join the Nets. Last year they try to comeback with Curry having one of his best statistical seasons and yet lost to the Lakers in the play-in. But now they are back at the top. And with their 4th championship in 8 years, they are not considered a dynasty in the last 20 years together with the Lakers, and the San Antonio Spurs.
You should not include Kevin Durant in the topic even he's part of the Golden State Warriors organization before. The Warriors are built from a scratch and can win a championship even without Kevin Durant and they did that twice already. The notable one is their current Championship as they are composed of young players. Both Steph Curry and Klay Thompson came too from a big hiatus too because of their injury after being rested at their Finals appearance. I can say that on all their championship, the first and fourth are special. Congrats too for Steph Curry to finally achieving the NBA Finals MVP that takes several years in the making. If we hear what Steph said after they win, they hear the chatter and that includes Durant leaving them because he thinks that this is Steph team and whatever he does, (winning 2 ring with them and 2 MVP), he won't be a Warrior by heart. And there are arguments that they won because of KD. But Steph proved his critics wrong again, and adding the MVP finals. So as much as we don't want to include him in the discussion, many analyst or shall we say, not a fan of Curry, will always have Durant's name.

There's a rumor that Andrew Wiggins might be potential trade due to increasing salary wage of Warriors. They need to trade someone to resolve this and Wiggins has the high chance rate to be trade since Warriors will not gonna let go there Big 3. I don't know if this will commence but I believe this possible since Warriors has really have a high salary cap right now and this is not healthy to there franchise.
I won't be surprised if there will be an actual trade for him. He's now going to get the attention after they've taken the championship this final. We don't know what it will be I guess this is an early expectation and we just have to wait for a few more weeks or a month to see such news like this.

KD was definitely instrumental last time GSW won championship as the team was dealing with injuries and needed some impact from a few crucial players, that KD provided. Can't deny the fact that KD did in fact help win championship. GSW has done it without him and then a couple of times with him. This time, it did help the fact that Wiggins pulled up his socks offensively and was immense defensively.

Yes Wiggins definitely did help the GSW especially in round 5 where Curry didn't managed to make any threes and missed most of his shot but we should also not forget Looney, Payton and Moore they also did a great job in helping the GSW especially in their offensive and lastly Green which is really a good defensive player and game creator.

Wiggins is one of the most important players for this team, we have seen his influence in the last games. One of the players who helped them become champions and leaving the team will not be good for the Golden State Warriors. I think the team needs to find a different solution for this situation, you don't want to spoil it when you have a good team that won championships

But he is a very important player for the team. There may be 2-3 players who can join the squad instead of Wiggins, but I don't know how efficient players will be. The number of quality players in the team is high and the Golden State Warriors can do something to become the champion in the coming years with the new players to join the squad

For sure there are plenty of players out there who are willing to play with the Warriors as this is a championship team. Wiggins already earn a championship, so he will be more useful to whatever team that will acquire him through trade.

I won't be surprised if there will be an actual trade for him. He's now going to get the attention after they've taken the championship this final. We don't know what it will be I guess this is an early expectation and we just have to wait for a few more weeks or a month to see such news like this. Yup, rumors will circulate and with his performance this last season, interest to bring him in will flow. It will depend on the Warriors team owner if how they will handle his case, if Wiggins will be after for the money, Max contract or a good long-term deal should be on the table. Unless he will be wanting for more rings, staying inside Warriors and adjust to the amount the team can offer him, just like how Tim Duncan did when he still playing for the Spurs. He adjusts to meet the salary cap.

Well, the management will decide and for sure it will be for the improvemnet of the team.

Though they won the championship but we show their weakness on some games, good thing they have Curry who are always willing to show his greatness when it's needed the most.

For me, that's stupidity. My apologies for my word but for me, why would they trade a player that is a perfect fit for the team? Wiggins played a big role this whole playoffs and in regard to their increasing salary, they will just do something but not trade Wiggins. For me, this will not happen, and they will let Wiggins stay with the team. Even Coach Kerr was surprised on the rebounding ability of Wiggins in the Finals because he didn't expect it from him and they need a player who is athletic and can rebound because their roster is kinda small compare to other teams. Well, if this happens then there is nothing we can do but the chances of it to happen is low to zero for me.

I beg to disagree though, many analyst predict that GSW might sweep the series or most 4-2 against Boston and that was the final score in the series. They just caught the Warriors in game 1, and then won at home in game 3. But after that the true championship pedigree was at full display, specially Curry having a monster game 4 to tie the series and that's it. They got into their zone and won 3 games in row. Whoever predicted the Warriors will sweep the finals isn't an analyst, he's a clown. Everyone knew that this series would extend to at least the sixth game. Had Boston won one of the two games they lost at home, the series would have been extended to game seven anyway. The detail that determined the series was that they played so badly in those two games. They gave back the advantage they had gained in the first match by losing at home. They have done nothing offensively in the last three games. You can tell this from the fact that they have been under 100 points in all the matches they have lost. No matter how well you defend, if you can't score on offense, you have no chance to win a match.

They aren't trading Wiggins, if the Warriors are worried about the luxury tax I think winning the championship trumps that. Over the course of the last coue years the Warriors franchise has to be worth 1Billion+ more than it was 10 years ago. Why would you break up this team just for cap reasons. Every team waits to get a squad built like this. And next year they get Wiseman back.

Warriors were favoured for the championship by the majority of people and they proved these people right by making it to the championship by 4-2. I still believed that Celtics can win this too but their performance in Game 6 was really bad. I didn't see the usual Celtics in this game I mean. They weren't reliable in defense and offense both. In offense, especially Brown and Horford did a very good job but the rest of the players didn't impress me at all. I hope Celtics learned their lesson from this and can come back stronger next season.

He was a key factor in the Warriors winning Game 5. I can see someone like Andre Iguodala being traded or retiring, but I feel like Curry, Wiggins, Poole, Green, and Thompson are coming back. The luxury tax isn't a big deal when a team brings in 15 million + in revenue at their home games.

Yes, he was but later on, Durant choose to depart from the Warriors who gave him a chance to have his own first title back then and they even got a back-to-back win. He was a big help that time because he's versatile in offense and sometimes plays defense as he's much taller than the usual Warriors roster. Bottom-line is that KD thinks that he can have his own team and lift them towards the championship that's why he left for the Brooklyn Nets. But Steph Curry proved that they can get a ring without him while Durant and his team was swept on the 1st round by the Boston Celtics.

No sense, right? For sure they won't really be minding on spending more if they do know that they could get the championship yet this one is the most projected goal for any team out there.Whether if it's needed for them to have big 4 or 5 it wouldn't matter yet they do know that speaking with possible revenue or something correlated to this one won't really be that much of a problem and just like everyone been saying mostly that Wiggins is someone that should be traded and you could definitely see on his contribution for the entire Warriors run until this very moment in finals.

Curry and the rest of the Warriors roster and coaching staff make it happen but the support they get from the fans was the thing they treasure to keep them going. Looks like Klay's rehabilitation for years wasn't that for naught and their move to get Andrew Wiggins bore some fruits too. Much respect from the Celtics too for giving them it all, they give the Warriors some tough time there. You should have seen the performance of Robert Williams on both offense and defense, the guy was suffering an injury but decided to give it his might to defend their home, much respect to this lad too.
