Dear Developers:

Sending BTC which consists of multiple wallet deposit transactions numbering in the hundreds is problematic.

I'm part of this new-ish (i.e. I'm gonna make tons of money from you latecomer suckers) ponzi investment scheme whose payouts consists of hourly amounts. So one day means 24 deposit transactions to mytrezor wallet, one week is of course 168 of these hourly transactions and so on and so on...

So I let this thing pile up for around two weeks mounting to like 2.5 BTC in total. Then the problem is when I try to transfer this entire amount at one go. I try to send 2.5 BTC to my cex.io account. Mytrezor initially looks fine, the trezor device looks fine too gears turning, signing, preparing, over and over for the 300 plus individual transactions that is my mytrezor wallet.

Well, the whole thing hangs right after mytrezor says it is sending after the warning "Fees over limit, press to confirm" (or words to that effect, and yea, the TX fees totals 0.0046 BTC) But no transfers take place. Luckily, my BTC is still there after I refresh the webpage.

How I try to hack around is make several smaller BTC amounts so that the transfer fees displayed is under 0.001 as at that or above that amount may hang things up as described. I don't know if the fault is with the mytrezor website or the trezor itself (I suspect the former) though it could be both.

This is such an irritating BUG. Please fix it...
You should use a Bitcoin wallet to collect your ill gotten gains then move them to your Bitcoin safe for safe keeping.  It is silly to use your Bitcoin safe for this.

Our family was terrorized by Homeland Security.  Read all about it here:  http://www.jmwagner.com/ and http://www.burtw.com/  Any donations to help us recover from the $300,000 in legal fees and forced donations to the Federal Asset Forfeiture slush fund are greatly appreciated!

Don't want to hijack, but everyone should know that getting 3% returns EACH DAY is a ponzi. So where is the "ill gotten-ess"? We're all enjoying it while it lasts and are having tons of fun...

Eventually I plan on leaving Amerika and the Trezor is an important piece for my future plans. I've identified a bug in the trezor environment and hopefully the developers will be listening and fixing...

Last time I did that you scolded me.

Don't you think there are thousands of eyes out there, listening to how you react to a user of your Trezor device, who themselves are on the fence as to whether to buy one or not?

They are listening to how you respond to a problem, how you intend to deal with a problem and how the problem gets resolved (or not.)

You can't buy this kinda advertising. Why would there be any need to resolve this privately?

I think your use case is flawed, not the Trezor.  The Trezor is not designed to be an everyday wallet it is designed to be a very safe place to store your larger amounts of BTC.  Using it the way you are doing is like driving to the bank to make a small deposit every time someone gives you a small amount of cash.  Instead, get a wallet and use it to collect your ill gotten Ponzi gains and then make one larger transfer per week or two to your Trezor for safe keeping.

If the Trezor was presented as a limited use device as you are implying, then I would never have purchased it.

Are you part of the Trezor development team by any chance?

Email as a tech support communication methodology is piss-poor, especially when there are multiple people conversing and responding non-sequentially. We use perldesk (free-ish) that we customized for use as a tech support ticketing scheme.

And yippee for me as with this post, I went from newbie to jr member!

Nope.  That is just my opinion.  Take it up with them by email as they asked.  I am sure you will let us know how it goes.

If they reply fast it's a great way to communicate. Why should they scan online forums non-stop?

It doesn't matter how fast they reply. Soon from a single email becomes multiple threads, each quoting things out of sequence. Been there, done that. That's why there are ticket systems like perldesk. Have you ever run a tech support ticketing system before? I have and am. I've also heard good things about Zendesk.

They should be looking here "non-stop" because they are professionals who know the true value of public forums for advertising and marketing you think? And they know the value of market research and customer satisfaction?

Support email is tied to our ticket system, so don't worry about it ...

Guys, please stop hijacking this thread by discussion what platform is better for customer support.

support@bitcointrezor.com creates new support ticket in our system. There's webpage for monitoring and managing curomer's tickets.

If anybody have any difficulties, please report it directly to support@bitcointrezor.com. There's dedicated team watching this support system closely and it's more likely to get relevant response there. It is impossible to monitor all discussion threads and channels and provide sufficient support for all of them.

Thank you.

As far as my earlier objection to the firmware upgrading procedure for handicapped people...

One can use their mouths to hold on to the USB cable, then using ONE HAND they can depress the two buttons on the Trezor and then push the USB onto the Trezor using only their mouths. Yes it is undignified but they would be doing the same to simply plug in the Trezor in the first place.

Not something Stick would want to take a pic of for marketing, but then again, maybe he would.

Arthritic users would have problems still.

But original objection modified.

We already know that Trezor cannot be used by handicaped people, for example blind people cannot benefit from Trezor because it has no Braille support. Unfortunately we needed to do some compromises at current product design. I believe firmware update will be more like rare event, not something what will be needed on daily basis. I hope that even handicaped people will be able to pass over this somehow, for example by asking friend for little help. We'll definitely think more about this stuff in next development.

If one can not confer upon another a right which he does not himself first possess, by what means does the state derive the right to engage in behaviors from which the public is prohibited?
