OK thanks for helping.

I will say, that this is my personal computer at work, nobody else here even knows what bitcoin is, definitely no one else has a Trezor and nobody installed a plugin on my computer before I get to work today!

Only chance is, if extension was released some weeks ago then I might have installed it and forgotten about it... But 100% nobody installed between me recieving Trezor on friday (at home) and arriving at work with it this morning at 0800 (I am first to arrive at the office and it is locked over weekend).

Finally, if it is relevant, despite being able to display trezor name and account 1 (and first recieving address of account 1) in web window, clicking transactions also brings me to an infinitely loading page (standard browser window, incognito mode and standard tab with all extensions disabled).

If you need any more info on my setup to help me out then please let me know.

Thanks

Now that I know that this is installed I am still stuck at the same point: device name is brought up with balance showing as 0.00BTC in account 1...

Also, the three bar progress bar next to "account 1" name continuously spins as if it is still loading.

Have also tried all of these steps in incognito mode (so no other extensions running) and still no luck (did tick "always allow" for trezor extension in about:plugins)...  Huh

EDIT:
How my screen looks now:

This is exactly what I see too. Firefox on archlinux .. gonna test with an empty new firefox profile when back home

Sounds plausible. The plugin 1.0.5 was out for quite some time now. You might have visited mytrezor.com in the past and installed it ...

clicking transactions also brings me to an infinitely loading page

This supports my theory. Will report back when we have more info or even fix. Smiley Meanwhile, could you please report which browsers and which their versions are you having problems with?

Ah OK, this is the most likely explanation then!

Look foward to hearing updates. Thanks again.

In case it's relevant, my Chrome browser is "Version 34.0.1847.131 m"

We're reindexing blockchain on one machine. It seems that there was some problem which should indirectly resolve also your issue.

BTW.. that device works great ... I figured from python-trezor that litecoin and namecoin are already available from the device .. only thing missing is the webinterface (bop service).

Could you set up a tutorial on how to setup your own mytrezor page (including backend) so that we can set up this service for different coins, aka doge, protoshares, peercoins etc....

btw. BIP44 (when I remember correctly) is in draft mode only .. any idea of how complicated it will be to add other coins to BIP44?

You can't they use a backend that is not open source.

Right. Same for the firmware (trezor-mcu) that runs inside of TREZOR.

Could you set up a tutorial on how to setup your own mytrezor page (including backend) so that we can set up this service for different coins, aka doge, protoshares, peercoins etc....

mytrezor sources are here: https://github.com/trezor/webwallet - installation instructions are in README

backend (bits of proof server) is not open-source at the moment. you can ask tamas whether he has any plans to support altcoins.

btw. BIP44 (when I remember correctly) is in draft mode only .. any idea of how complicated it will be to add other coins to BIP44?

That's just a matter of defining that e.g. Dogecoin is coin type "2".

The myTREZOR back end is available as a service, binary or in source, as is or with custom extensions. PM or e-mail for a quote.

I would support an alt if the development for that fork was funded by that community or the prospective operator of the service.

Is there any chance to get Dogecoin implemented?
That's the question for Dogecoin developers. Do they already have a block explorer server with stable API and BIP32 support? If this requirement is fulfilled it is just a matter of few minutes to add new coin to TREZOR as it is more-or-less coin agnostic.

Good grief, we constantly get technical requests for coin features that don't make sense, and no-one mentioned this?!

Consider this a personal priority, even if not for the other devs, as soon as plastic Trezors hit general availability.

Dogecoin Core developer, ex-researcher, trader.

Unless stated otherwise, opinions are my own and do not necessarily reflect that of other Dogecoin developers.

Not quite as portable but perhaps I just keep this cable at home for now...  Smiley

I am waiting as well. If you look on the website they are suppose to send out emails and keep you update on where your package is but they have not done any of that.

We've sent emails just now :-). The last pieces went out yesterday, so your Trezor is probably still on the way.
