Where did you first heard about Bitcoins?

One day, I heard it from a friend of mine. That night I started browsing to learn more about bitcoin.

Well the first time i read or saw bitcoin word camed from spam from someone when i looked at it i thinked ouch people are good, they made another ponzi and this one looks like will last a bit more then the others, no way i will support those and burn my money again, i believe those email camed from 2011-2013 period, i had joined bitcoin just last year soo it take a while till i believe and make my own search and join bitcoin.

Mine is from some pay to click advertisement but it's not bitcoin but dogecoin, then redirected me to faucet wher this forum is advertised. I clicked it and redirected to altcoin section.  Read about it and participated in lots of giveaways that time.  Then eventually learned about bitcoin.  So it was an altcoin that lead me to bitcoin from some PTC ads

I know the feeling even i if only i knew about it when the first year of it was starting i probably had much invested on it with time and money too. And the same as you i give most of my free time to it even when im tired from work.

My memory of coming into awareness is somehow linked to Youtube back in 2012 when bitcoin was exploding.  I must have heard about it in some Youtube comments or something, probably associated with profanity, racism, and retardation, because that was the state of youtube comments at the time.  It might still be that way, but I don't comment there anymore.  Good times.  Unfortunately I wasn't a buyer back then.

As I discover bitcoin in one of a facebook page where I always stay and I read  about this thing that you can earn online using this method, so I decide to read online, read and ask questions also and I learn a lot about this. I earn first in faucets and I used investment too because as what they said you can earn that way but I learn from my experienced so I decide to stop in cloudmining sites, someone recommend in that facebook page that you can earn bitcoin too in these forum, so I make an account here, read and read until reading becomes my hobby  and asking also how can I earn and now I'm already a full member and earning from signature campaigns.

That's nice, but I think the earnings are too low to earn from a faucet. You better start a simple casino, and you'll get much more profit out of it.

I already heard bitcoin last year but I have no interest as I do not know the value or the price it have.  I have no interest then because of unfamiliarity and no one of my friends know about it.  Then when I am started to join an online job, one of my group mate shares about it and still reluctant.  Because he said that it is hard to earn those coins because you need to open your computer all day long.  But when I joined another group that earns money through games and applications and they are knowledgeable with the coin bitcoin, I am curious.  Since then I started to do some captcha typing, posting, and investing to earn more bitcoins.

im very lucky because iam start earning bitcoin arround middle 2014, my total earning arround $10.000, but i get bad experience with trading and some of my bitcoin get hacked. i lost arround 10bitcoin until my first time know bitcoin.

Loosing 10 btc is very big amount and very painful too, with God's grace my bitcoins never got hacked but yes I lost sometimes in gambling, but now I don't gamble at all.

I first learned about bitcoin in 2013 and I'm using a variety of methods to get and earn bitcoin. included with the faucet. maybe today if I collect bitcoin. maybe I've got at least 15 BTC. and I think I've lost more than 0.5 BTC of various roads such as gambling

i ignored it again.. then time comes when i quit my job and look

Publicity would really help the public to adopt bitcoin and I am glad I heard it also in the news, actually the first time I heard this is from those people who are promoting HYIP which makes me attracted due to the promising return but it was not a good experience in the past.

Well you are not the only one who regret that didnt buy when the price is low and late years but even we are late using bitcoin we are still making a good profit in bitcoin while bitcoin is growing daily..

i personally heard about bitcoin from an Ex Student. he came to me do for taking some idea, i just asked him about his job and told me that he is engage in bitcoin, i then asked him about the detail and one day he came to school and introduce bitcoin to me in detail. then he give give me some tips about it and i start work on it. and now i am here.

My first time hearing about bitcoins is from my technician friend.He told me everything about it and how its value rise up to $600 from a starting value of $0.01 per bitcoin back in 2009 or 2010. I hope i listen to him earlier and stake many btc as i much, if that happened i am very reach now because a lot of money that time because i got my shares when our land property is sold for 500k$. My bad.
