One problem, they don't trade in altcoins... Are you serious ? And LTC ? Chinese are leader on LTC trading and LTC is an altcoin, the biggest before Ethereum arrival. True, 99% of all LTC is traded on Chinese exchanges. If Lisk makes it to Chinese exchanges, it will pass Ethereum on MarketCap... no doubt. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I just finished checking these two sites, okcoin.com and huobi.com (english version) and after seeing their list of coins that they support I found out that both of these sites are only a BTC and LTC show, nothing else. They have not, and never have they added any other coins besides Bitcoin and Litecoin, not even Ethereum is added there, nothing, just Bitcoin and Litecoin, thats it. For they to add Lisk there is to finally break their BTC and LTC protocol that they have been so dearly holding since forever, they would have to see something of epic monumental about Lisk for they to be so convinced that it is worthwhile to add to these exchanges, maybe with more than $1 million dollars that the Dev has to improve Lisk (at our peril of having a lesser quantity of Lisk holdings) maybe the dev can indeed bring upon that monumental innovation that will leave the whole world in awe and then Lisk will get added to these exchanges.

Maybe I don't know enough about the LISK concept. I have a question:
Can LISK sidechains be with integrated with any blockchain, or is development confined to the LISK blockchain? Can LISK be used to create an "Internet of Chains" as opposed to "Internet of Things"?
So, could I use LISK to write a sidechain that unifies something between 10 different alts, for example (with the LISK blockchain acting as an intermediary)? Or am I restricted to the LISK blockchain?
It could be programmed, yes. E.g. that you also save the hash of your Lisk sidechain on the Bitcoin blockchain. Using Bitcoin within that sidechain is much more complicated though. Lisk can be used to build an "Internet of Chains", yes. It would be a whole network of different Lisk sidechains each having their own purpose or hosting its own website. If you want "to write a sidechain which unifies something between 10 different alts", then it depends on what you want to achieve. Can you give more details?

I just noticed the version number you plan on using is 0.1.0. Why not 1.0? It's based on established and proven software, are you not confident it will be ready to go? 0.1.0 just sounds not confident.

@LiskHQ are you running any ads for the Chinese? It is is a huge market and it would be a shame to not get them on board if we want Lisk to go to da moon, we need to get on the Chinese OKCoin and Huobi exchanges.
Absolutely. And that is another point where Ethereum is bad : the Chinese market.Absolutely! Ethereum penetration in Chinese exchanges is effectively zero. If Lisk can be listed on Chinese exchanges before Ethereum, Lisk could very well leapfrog Ethereum in trading volume.Daily ETHEREUM Volume in Millions of US Dollars Ranked by Exchange $M_USD

If we're serious about getting Lisk on Chinese exchanges, we should get more Chinese investors to participate in this ICO in the 1st place. How about we pledge some BTC to Lisk Country Ambassador in China to run a Lisk Ad campaign on Chinese Crypto forums during these last 10 days ? Consequently... this ICO may raise twice more funds

It has nothing to do with being confident or not. Lisk is new software and it has to start with a version number. I will ask Oliver to give a statement to the 0.1.0 number. @LiskHQ are you running any ads for the Chinese? It is is a huge market and it would be a shame to not get them on board We are in contact with someone from China. It has to be well coordinated. Something I learned at Crypti is, to not release every bit of news immediately. Better release the news in a package, this will create much more buzz.

First of all, I want to say I love the idea and will be definitely following this.
But there is 1 thing that is a bit unclear to me.
In previous pages there is a mention that this isnt a Crypti Bailout.
But over 60 mill XCR has already been raised and it barely has any volume, how will you sell it all if you own almost the entire supply of it?
60mill almost proves people lost fate in XCR and jump ship to Lisk, who will be buying XCr from you.
Thanks and good luck !

I saw this posted a few pages back: Hmmm... looks like BTC investors in Lisk ICO, just bailed out all Crypti bag holders.
I posted this only three pages ago, but since you missed it, here it is again....BTC investors are NOT bailing out XCR bag holders in this ICO! THERE IS NOT A ONE-FOR-ONE EXCHANGE OF CRYPTI XCR FOR LISK. XCR members joining Lisk are getting their donations capped at the fair market value (at Poloniex, for example) of 1300 satoshi per XCR. You can see that by going to the "How many Lisk will I get for my XCR" spreadsheet link in my other post above on page 129. At present, the number is 0.274 Lisk will be issued for every Crypti XCR donated, and that number continues to drop as more BTC shows up. A Lisk is currently worth 4759 Satoshi. If you trade in ONE Crypti XCR, you currently get 0.274 Lisk and your new Lisk holding is worth 0.274 * 4759 = 1300 satoshi (with minor roundoff error). Now look at the "How many Lisk will I get for my BTC" spreadsheet. If you trade in ONE Bitcoin, you currently get 21,100 Lisk and your new Lisk holding is worth 21,100 * 4759 = 100,000,000 satoshi (with minor roundoff error), which is exactly 1 BTC. As noted in my post above, so far there have been 773 BTC worth of XCR donated to Lisk at the fixed fair market rate of 1300 satoshi and 2900 actual BTC donated at the adjustable fair market rate of 4759 satoshi per Lisk and rising. The 773 BTC donated by Crypti holders is the fair market value of all the currently existing Version 0.5.5 sidechain / dapp software that Lisk will use at launch. The Version 0.5.5 sidechain / dapp software used to launch Lisk is NOT VAPORWARE and its use does not come to the new BTC donors for free. Utilization of that software as a starting point is currently priced fairly at 773 BTC. The BTC donations of 2900+ will be used as a cash development fund to IMPROVE THIS CODE BASE and create Lisk Version 0.5.6 and beyond. To summarize, the value of XCR donations are are capped at 1300 satoshi per coin; the value of BTC donations are continuously adjusted upward to get the current Lisk satoshi value (currently 4759 and rising). That capped vs. continuous adjustment factor is what keeps the XCR folks from being "bailed out" by the BTC donors! XCR donators have created a solid sidechain / dapp code base foundation and the new BTC donators are providing funding to improve it. XCR and BTC donors are not opponents here. We are all members of the new Lisk team!First of all, I want to say I love the idea and will be definitely following this.

I accidentally bought a good bit of this today, and freaked out for a bit, but after checking it out more thoroughly I'm not really upset about it. Should be interesting at least. If you're wondering how someone accidentally purchases the wrong IPO of a coin....well I'm what's known as a "dumb" in clinical terms. Sometimes inexplicable things just happen. Will definitely see about getting some use out of this platform though seeing as how I'm already a JS dev to a degree, I cannot in any honesty say I'm a Solidarity dapp engineer so that's one point here vs. Ethereum.

the fact is that who is using their XCR to take Lisk has some kind of advantage towards who is buying lisk in btc.

The choice of version number is simply an indicator of our desire for a fresh start / new approach. Although Lisk is a fork of Crypti, and right now the differences are few, this won't be the case forever. Your confidence will likely increase in the number, when you actually see us deliver what we set out to achieve

Then basically the fund is from the BTC which is actually sellable, XCR has almost no volume. Then isnt it a buyout sort to speak. Please prove me wrong I just want to get some clearance on this.

As far as I know BTER's BTC deposit/withdrawal works. It would be so nice if DEVs placed buy order at 1300 so people could take those BTC back into ICO exchange. Let them stuck on BTER, looks like they'll be useless soon anyway.
