Hello Guys,

Can I mix Pitcairn (270X) and Hawaii (290X, 390) cards in the same rig? I tried that but the Pitcairn cards gave only 0,3MH/s.

I use CDM 9.4 and 16.10.3 ATI driver. I tried to disable ASM on Pitcairn cards but didn't help.

Can anyone tell me what did I wrong?

The 270X cards have 2GB RAM - is it possible to use this cards for ETH mining?

No! You need a card with minimum 3GB RAM to mine ETH. The DAG is larger than 2GB. Impossible to mine with 2GB of memory on the card.

4GB should be good for another two to three years and by then ETH will be a POS coin anyway and you'll be mining something else with them or have sold them and got something more up to date. If not much more money can go for the 8GB. They do mine slightly faster.

For me its hands down Sapphire rx 570 ITX
Damn im still in love.
So tiny, so cute, smashing blocks like the fattys

F.ex its not that far from the performance of my R9 390s... but they are huge with 2x8 pin power and 3 fans.
This has 1x6pin with 1 fan.

Hi guys,

I wanted start to mining but i got a problem!! Rx 480 rx 470 they are not available anymore in Internet!!!!

So.... what i did.... i thought something else to find good enough....

I tried to buy cheap gtx 1060 3gb which i paid 177 euro...
No struggling with bios and other things, just msi afterburner core +100 memory +900/950 i get 23.5 MH/s ethereum as well as are the consumption about 90w each card.

So my actual rigs they are

6x 1060  3gb  about 137 MH/s 700w   (177 euro x6)
6x 1060 3gb   137mh   700w
5x rx 480 about 130  mh   900w   (250 euro x 5)
4x rx 480 130 mh  700/750

Do some calculations and you will get that nvidia they are actually better than amd costing 250😉😉😉 hope to have help you.

In Europe all Amazon they don't have amd rx 500 or d rx 400 so i had to find something else.
How much you paid them?
Coz if u calculate 177 euro for 1060 3gb does 23.5 mh/s for only 90w
Your 580/570 should be 250 cost mining at 25/28 mh draining 200w.

what is the pixel patcher?

There is this amazing service called Google where if you put in "download pixel patcher" you would have been up and running by now. Try to search for stuff instead of waiting for others to spoon feed it to you.

Here is on a spoon. https://www.monitortests.com/forum/Thread-AMD-ATI-Pixel-Clock-Patcher

I just set up my first miner today with NVIDIA 1070s and was happily chugging along at 26 MH/s when I started getting "Error "server: bind failed with error"." messages. I specified "-mport 0" but now my hashrate has gone down to 12 MH/s.

Any advice?
