Hi Claymore,
I'm running a rig with 6x GTX1070, mining ETH and SIA on a Windows 10 machine. I keep getting the following error, causing the miner and the machine to crash: NVML: cannot get current temperature, error 15 NVML: cannot get fan speed, error 15
Error occurs within 5-10 mins of starting the miner. I tried switching the Nvidia drivers to various versions, but nothing helps... What to do?

question for you all.
I have 2 cards, one can only have memory clock of 1900 and other can reach 2050, but no matter how I put the command mmclock 1900,2050 sometimes the order of gpus change and it crashes or sometimes the second card don´t receive the parameters of memory clock core clock and etc.
Any idea people?

Hi Everybody:
As a lot of messages I have seen here, I will start stating that I'm new here and new in mining, I started mining on friday, so far great, I have learnt a lot.
Right now I am mining with only 3 ASUS STRIX RX580 8GB OC, I have reduced the GPU clock in 5% and increased the memory clock speed to 2200 MHz, I have got 27.4 MH/s from 24.5MH/s, all this in AMDs Wattman, I had problems with the Asus Aura Light Effects, it seems it mess with the MH/s fluency, It is off and uninstalled now.
I have read about some widely known power adjustments, I understand the idea is to reduce voltage, so reduce power consumption, and increase memory clock speed, so increase MH/s, I have read too about doing it with AMDs Wattman or MSIs AfterBurner, and about bios flashing.
Knowing many has been able to get 29MH/s and 135 Watts of power from this cards, my questions so far are the following:
- There is need to flash a new bios to get the best performance?, if so, how many MH/s could I get?, or power reduction?. - If I can get similar improvements with AMDs Wattman, which are the parameters I must use?.
Thank you very much for your support.
Carlos

If you're still using Windows (which is about as stable as a house of cards during a hurricane), then you can easily undervolt using MSI AB or whatever. Also, only 27.4MH/s? Those can't be Samsung, are they? LOL.... "...If you're still using Windows (which is about as stable as a house of cards during a hurricane)..." ~ Wolf0, 2017 thanks for brief grin... needed one.... after the BTC bloodbath last night 27.5mh -- standard 1500 straps -- maybe Elpida memorypossibly SK-Hynix... lucky card this Use GPUZ to find out memory type

Thx for your answer, I am using Windows, I am not sure if these use Samsung Memory, I am using the Asus Strix RX580 O8G, I ve seen another report with similar results, How can I check about if these are Samsung?.

I have 1070 with 9200mhz mem and no-OC core. From yesturday im facing with WatchDog error. All was good for a week of nonstop mining, after changing a wallet and restarting the miner this error appears and even mem frequency reduction to 9170 not help. Any idea why does it happen? https://i.imgur.com/kMhBWn3.png

I set the core/memory clocks with Afterburner. Setting the clocks with Claymore is very unstable and unpredictable for me as well.

1060/1070 prices gone crazy in my country, LOL ETH skyrocket... BTC drops.. My pool went from 7 to 10 TH/s in few days.. What do you think about 570/4GB, will it still be worth it when they restock, if they...? Amazon only shows preorder on all RXses..

I have a really weird problem here.
My rigs (2 with 4 RX 470 each) were working fine for 5 days. I stopped them for 10 minutes just for maintenance; was getting really hot in the room. After i started them 1 GPU in each rig shows a 80% drop in hashrate.
What just happened?
In essence 2 RX 470 dropped from 24 to 4.2 MH/s.
Anyone has encountered same issue? Also after 5 hours of operations, they freeze.
many thanx in advance for any tip
Forgot to add that it is only with ETH that i have this issue. When i use Claymore for zcash, all cards working fine

Hey guys, im only getting 12.6 mh/s with an r9 280x, it should be 20+... how can i ensure that the miner is using the crimson 15.12 that i installed? virtual memory is set to 16gb. mining ethereum only, with recommended initial settings.

WRONG - you're reading SUPER-outdated info. As I said earlier in the thread - GCN 1 devices suffer as the DAG increases in size... even though it can fit the whole DAG in its memory, due to the memory controller having issues with shit that big, I think. Your hashrate is as expected.... and it's only gonna get worse. That is actually starting to scare me. I've got a bunch of 4GB RX 570 cards, how long do you reckon until the size of the DAG starts impacting me?

You could seriously have googled the words "ETH mining 4GB" and got your answer. 4GB will supposedly become an issue in 2019, but supposedly eth will go POS before that. If you have no idea what that means, you could google "eth pos".

Sooooo was Claymore hacked last night (UK time)? Connection dropped on mine and my housemate's rigs for about 15 mins, we were getting the failed to connect, retrying after 20s error. Since then, for the past 8 hours, my Ether balance has not increased.
CLAYMORE GOT HACKED CONFIRMED! Nice first post! /s

You on the other hand seem to be trolling quite a bit, looking at your last few posts.
