when i mine only ETC i get 26mh/s single rx 470

if dual mine etc+dcr only 20 for ETC and 600 in DCR

is that normal
Yes, it is totaly normal with dual mining on AMG GPUs.
Only nVidia GPUs have the same hashrate with simple and dual mining.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Hi,
I am mining multi coin(DaggerHashimoto coins) + dual mining on miningpoolhub.
I have issues with mining devfee. After devfee mining stops cards do crash.
I added --allcoins -1 to start devfee mining first but still most of the cards crash. Sometimes some cards are okay.
Do you know some more settings to specify to avoid this issue?
Thanks!

This is not true.
Try to fiddle with -dcri option.
I am mining 28Mh/s ETH and 750Mh/s DCR on RX 570.
But RX 5xx are probably better on dual mining.

Hi guys,

Any idea how to disable GPU 10, 12, 13... etc. Like GPU 1 to 9 using the keyboard while mining.

GPU #0...#9 are managed with "0"..."9" keys. "a", "b", "c" keys are for GPU #10, #11, #12. If you have more than 13 GPUs, there is no way to manage GPU #13 and higher with keys.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

The problem is strange because I put the manufacturing times of the video cards and start at 24mh / s but then some of them goes down to 20 or 22 and does not go up again.

It's super strange this problem and I'm having it with several rigs.

Im try with 3 rig's...one with 3 x MSI RX 470 Gaming X 4G and try too 2 rig's with 7 x MSI RX 570 Gaming X 4G...the same problema for all rig's. I dont know what happend...

I had the same problem some days ago.

reinstall drivers (use DDU to uninstall drivers) and MSI AB.

How are you overclocking: MSI or claymore flags?

I already did the test to reinstall the drivers, also install windows from scratch with the drivers amd for blockchain and MSI AB the last version. I make the overclocking with MSI AB.

The truth is I do not know what is happening, I do not know why this problem occurs.

I will try to uninstall the blockchain drivers and install the latest version of amd drivers (17.9.3) to test if this strange problem continues or if it changes in something.

If someone is happening to you this comment.

Hi all, I have problem with version 10, after blockchain driver update, overclock from claymore not working properly.
On boot and first start of miner only first card gets overclocked, and if I manually close miner and start it again it works properly.
I use -r 1 flag so if I set -minspeed  miner reboot entire PC, and same thing happens again Smiley

Did you update the driver from a previous version or did you removed the old driver first with DDU? Maybe there are some leftovers from your previous driver.

I am sad to see that many people now have experienced the issues I have reported within the first few hours of Claymore V.10.0:

Sometimes miner can't reach maximum speed. I open the miner, clocks and voltages are being set properly but hashrate lies in the 225mh/s area. A simple miner restart resolves the issue
Computer freezes. This has happened 2 times in my rig and 1 time in my PC (same setup with 1 gpu only) in the last 2 days

For those that read the thread daily, you may remember I put great efforts in gathering other user's symptoms and finding the cause of the second problem (the freeze problem), in this post. I concluded that:

My "verdict" is that sometimes when the miner starts it causes a power consumption spike, which may be above your rig's max power. For me it happened almost always after a connection loss and sometimes after a gpu hang.
If you experience rig freezes with blockchain drivers and Claymore v.10.0, the miner could be causing spikes that are beyond your PSUs capabilities

As I said, I am not happy to see that those problems are getting noticed by more users everyday. For myself, lowering the voltages seems to did the trick but I still experience some freezes now and then (I guess that I didn't lower them enough).

I am hoping that with so many cases around, Mr. Claymore can verify the existence of the problem.

What I would like to hear from Mr. Claymore is if there are any thoughts for a solution and what I would love to hear is an ETA if one exists.

You can adjust the secondary coin intensity with the +/- keys while dual mining. Once you find the best intensity that maximizes the hash rate of the second coin without lowering the ETH hash rate, you can set it in your command line or configuration file with the -dcri parameter.

My RX 470 Shappire Nitro Plus 8GB reaches 28.8~29 MH/s on ETH (-dcri 23)

u mean like this

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool us1.ethpool.org:3333 -ewal 0xD69af2A796A737A103F12d2f0BCC563a13900E6F.YourWorkerName -epsw x -dpool stratum+tcp://yiimp.ccminer.org:3252 -dwal DsUt9QagrYLvSkJHXCvhfiZHKafVtzd7Sq4 -dpsw x -dcri 23

1. I still cannot reproduce this issue, I described what tests I did: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1433925.msg21966972#msg21966972
If you have ste-by-step guide how to reproduce this issue - let me know.
2. I'm not sure if it is possible to fix this issue at all, since all these issues are from buggy ADL.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

I have a gtx 970 mining on claymore’s 9.8 in ubuntu 14.04.  Uptime/runtime is somehwere north of two months.  Hashrate still is good, but I’m wondering should I occasionally restart the miner or let it keep running until it crashes or the power goes out?

Hello :-)
im pretty sure i have missed something, but im really noob on linux, managed to get my RX460 rig running on xubuntu  16.04.3and amd gpu-pro 17.30 drivers.
For some reason i cannot change the voltages and clock, not even the power limit is working. Interesting enough, i can set the temp limit, change fanspeed and i can see the temps etc.
What am i missing here friends?

Thank for your reply.

Regarding problem #1, I will try to think what is different between my case and what you tried. It is not a big problem though, since a simple -minspeed parameter can solve the issue

As for problem #2, thank you very much for the deads up. Knowing that we are stuck with those ADL bugs is way better than having false hopes

Keep up the good work  Smiley

Hello i need help with using Claymore miner i'm currently using 1 EVGA GEFORCE GTX 1060 and 3 RX 580 Red Dragon PowerColor. It was mining good yesterday it was generating 25/Mhs per the red dragon and 15/Mhs for the EVGA. I have the ASRock Pro 110 BTC motherboard which supports up to 13/GPU. I was using Jaxx as a wallet but i'm going to be switching to Exodus which i read was alot better. Please help me with the directions or what i need to do to make this mine again or any other way. I was mining ETH not classic. In red it shows

ETH: Share Rejected!
Socket was closed remotely (by pool)
ETH Job Timeout, disconnect, retry in 20 sec...

and it keeps on repeating itselft.

It says the pool i was connected to is cn1.ethermine.org:14444

I don't see a "cn1" server on the Ethmine pool for ETH or ETC, only for Zcash and the config for that is "cn1-zcash.flypool.org:3333".
For ETH it would be, for example, "eu1.ethermine.org:4444", or "asia1.ethermine.org:4444"
If you post your full Claymore config we may be able to help more.

Which are the best pools for mining Ethereum Classic? May be Nanopool? Etc.ethermine? And the best Wallet for ETC? I'm thinking to change to ETC+DCR since ETH profitability falls. Many thanks in advance
