A lot of talking and so on, can i change the topic for just a little and help me and other interested parties?
How about solo mining ETC ? Geth 1.4.10 with the --no fork support switch is enough to get ETC instance ? How to verify if the wallet I generated is actually ETC one ? How to check i'm on the right chain in the geth ? Thanks Smiley

Solo mining at this stage is pointless unless you have several gigs of equipment laying around

I do, but i want to be sure i'm doing it right Smiley I think to use https://forum.ethereum.org/discussion/3503/ethereum-solo-mining-proxy-track-rigs-hashrate , should work ?

Make sure you have the correct chain.  Check block Number #19918xx is the same as in your geth as on http://fork.ethstats.net/

good luck!  When i started solo in April i hit 2 blocks within 36 hours of mining on 11MH/s
It is risky, you may not hit one for a while

Difficulty is low on ETC.  it is 18% of ETH Difficulty

40 MH/s should hit a block every 3.2 days @ 100% luck
a pool would give about 1.5 ETC per day

100% percent behind Ethereum Classic. I'm all in and I won't be surprised seeing ETC overtaking ETH soon.  Smiley

ETC hashrate and price still kinda low, so its very sensitive jumping from 1st to 3rd most profitable mined coin daily.

If it got the hashrate of ETH without jumping 600% in price, it would be valueless to mine.

It has been more profitable to mine ETC than ETH since 6 hours after the fork

So ethf has centralized foundation, premine, vitalik, forks, copyrights and trademarks. Dapp devs should fear being banned at any moment. Ethf is the opposite of all crypto should be. Ethf people are even advocating closed source development lol

Another update on https://ethc.coin-miners.info/ , i have opened another stratum server for EU(bigger box) stratum-eu2.coin-miners.info:8008

And again another update , i just changed all the nodes wallets from geth to parity , parity is using less resource and is more faster than geth and now i expect to get less orphan blocks Smiley

Only news was that CHBTC.com added ETC to their exchange.

The greatest Punch line is gonna be when all the ETH fagboys realize they're on the losing side, panic buy and the DAO gets dumped on them. Cheesy
