Version 1.10.0 released https://github.com/byteball/byteball/releases* Redesigned two pages used to create smart contracts: bind payment and offer contract. Now they look more like contract prose rather than web forms. They also reduce manual entry and validate input for a few known oracles (validation is not perfect but prevents the most obvious mistakes). * Added ability to vote in polls. Now we can have referendums. Poll Bot is added to the Bot Store, it assists in making a vote. A vote is a small transaction that pays to yourself and is signed by your most funded addresses, the weight of the vote is the combined balance of the signing addresses. Note that there is a privacy concern because by making a vote you associate a number of your addresses. Source code of the poll bot: https://github.com/byteball/poll-bot* Fixed a bug that sometimes caused full clients to crash while syncing * Fixed a bug that in rare circumstances led to creation of unspendable addresses during first run on Android wallets * Fixed a bug that caused the wallet to erroneously complain about lack of coins when trying to send blackbytes * Fixed creation of .desktop files on fresh Linux installs * Other small bugfixes and improvements You need to upgrade in order to vote. This is awesome! One of the best projects in world of cryptos.

I bought some GBB Blackbytes today vs GBYTE
Not these Blackbytes are in this Smartwallet, how can I move it to the normal wallet, if I want to?
And second question, if I leave them in the Smart Wallet, will I get new Blackbytes for it next week in distribution?
thx

as the holders of byteball is growing we might only see 2 more. but free money is free money so I will take it and be very very grateful
Actually, as the airdrop amount gets more and more dependent on the byteball part, it becomes more predictable too. The holders of byteball are the same regardless of dumps or pumps. Assuming after the august airdrop the circulation is actually 50% or even a little more, it's impossible for there to be just one more airdrop unless the bitcoin linked goes up like ten times. But what I expect is for the september airdrop, another 100000 Gb from existing gb (predictable) and perhaps another 100000 from the btc (if it keeps increasing at that rate). That will bring us to 70% which is just about enough for a third airdrop with a little room to spare

OK, I got headless up and running, couple questions.
1. byteball.sqlite is now 2.5 GB, how big is db in sqlite format?
2. RPC call for main chain index returns 348670, where do I compare this to see if I'm fully synced? It's not obvious how/where to check on explorer.byteball.org.
Bump. I'm up to almost 7 GB byteball.sqlite file now (and almost 4 GB log.txt), and main chain index of 821618. Bumpity bump bump, or is this thread only for asking stupidly obvious questions about air drop that are clearly answered in OP?

It is already weeks that I can't have my Byteball wallets on TWO separate Android devices (one smartphone and one tablet) properly working. Now they both have just a 1of3 multiwallet, but earlier they had other multiwallets and given the problem I have disinstalled and reinstalled the app. Same result: they endlessly try to synchronize and they do not work. Now I cannot even upgrade to the new release of the wallet, so I'll probably have top delete and reinstall everything once more. Any chance that this bus has been resolved in this latest version?

Go to slack and force the issue, keep asking about this, it's a real problem and they will help you solve it just keep insisting (politely). I'm impressed about the new update tonych, hats off to you, hope you can help this fellow here. Mobile wallet usage is the most important thing for BB imo, it looks nice, easy to use and fast, that's what the masses need.

It is very important also for the increased security that it offers if you create a 2of3 or 2of4 multisig wallet, but of course if your 2 mobile multisig wallets stop to work in a 2of3 wallet (as an example) , you basically lose the possibility to move your coins forever. And even in a 2of5 wallet you are at risk if your 2 android wallets fail AND one of your two PCs fail too. You'd need 6 devices to be safe, but who has 6 devices at hand ?

UPDATE :
900166 BTC linked which will bring approx. : 56,260 gb
and we have 365,903gb in circulation which will bring : 73,180 gb more after airdrop
So
365,903+73,180+56,266= 495,343 Gb in total in circulation after give away.
That's 50% of all gbytes.
Yes i think in this rate we will have 3 more airdrops. Distribution : 0.0625 Gb for each 1 BTC of linked balance and 0.2 new byte for each 1 byte you already hold. 131.94375 MBB for each 1 BTC of linked balance and 0.42222 new Bbyte for each 1 byte you already hold (on linked addresses only).

in the next few days, we will see spikes in the price of GBYTE leading to the next airdrop. but with that much new GBYTE going into circulation, expect another drop in price after the airdrop.

Can you or someone please ELI5 how this coin works in brief? he's arguing that people will want to buy GBYTE to get the 20% bytes bonus (plus blackbyte bonus), which will cause a spike in price before next snapshot. then the price will dump right after snapshot when some people get their GBYTE and sell it. market likely expects the dump after snapshot, and if it dumps >16.67% (1/6, ignoring GBB for this calculation) after snapshot, then its more profitable to make buys after snapshot. personally, i expect choppy price until distribution is over (probably October), then a long bull market begins.

i think he's referring to the coin overall. in which case someone better qualified than me will have to answer it.

how do you associate a new or specific Byteball address with the Blackbyte distribution? or are you stuck with the default?
