Just a note (to the Devs?)... it would seem that under some circumstances, textcoins may not be being "fully claimed"... I was demonstrating to a friend how they work just now, and clicked on the one here: And then clicked the "Receive Funds" button, anticipating the usual "This Textcoin was already claimed!" message... instead... I received +213 bytes into my wallet??!? Looking at the history of the sending address on the explorer... I can see the original claimant, some 6 hours ago, got (999,499 bytes, not spent). Is it something to do with this: "headers commissions from mci 173xxxx to mci 176xxxx. Sum: 688 bytes" message attached to the input? Is the address simply receiving some extra bytes AFTER the original claim is made?

A textcoin address can be "refilled" as wanted and claimed again.

Quite an interesting idea of the project GBYTE itself, but on the principle of how they started and how high the price was before - I do not think that I will be able to return to the previous level
The price in dollar could. But the price in bitcoin is difficult. The price in dollar had already rises over last year's ATH, before the current correction (which is affecting most coins these days). I am rather sure also the price in BTC will at some point, and in a not too distant future.

Bullish! I am sorry but I am not planning to sell anytime soon. This coin might be 2018 hidden gem in the crypto world. Truly good to see oldtimers like you asking to buy.

Liquidity is a bit poor with Cryptopia GBYTE wallet (and market) Still down. I hope they can get this up and running soon so I can withdraw my purchased Byteballs into my own wallet in time for the envisaged March Airdrop. It would be a shame if I would forfeit extra Byteball because of this exchange lockup issue.

I was not aware of the Byteball wallet on Cyptopia being offline. How long has it been offline already? I have bytes parked there from a lot of time but of course I too would withdraw them before March.

As far as I am aware, more than a month already. They upgraded the wallet to 2.0 (it was still 1.7 when they started to look into the withdrawal issues) but apparently the issues have still not been resolved yet. Hopefully Tony can lend a hand.

I want to second this. It has been a long while already. I filed a ticket and they were very dismissive of the issue. Putting pressure on them to release everyone's funds would be great. The best I can do is open another ticket, but maybe if a bunch of us do that it'll help.

The privacy coin has not yet achieved much success, and perhaps BYTEBALL is the treasure of the privacy coins hidden in 2018. The project seems to be hopeful.

See the following https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1608859.msg29175489#msg29175489It looks they are waiting for the wallet to properly sync (and we know that a full wallet with no SSD might take ages). I hope they will compensate us with fee-free trading when they solve this issue.

Some traders on the dark web already accepting blackbytes. Sources for this statement or is it just a supposition of yours? And, secondly, what do you exactly mean by dark web? This could refer to illegal things or whatever. And finally, if you have first hand evidence of your claim, should we deduce that you are hanging out where illegal trades are the norm?

Recently, Bittrex's Byteball wallet was under "automated maintainance". First, two day long. Then, it was open for half a day and I was able to withdraw some funds. And since then it is under "automated maintainance" again. Anybody has an idea what is going on?
I don't think there are special problems with Byteball there, the problems are general about bittrex..... If you still store funds on bittrex you should really read this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1954598.0I have never heard of someone having some SERIOUS problem with Bittrex. OK, if you don't verify you ID you will never take your funds out - that is really annoying, but you can solve that by verifying your ID. Up to now I have never had any pronlems with them, nor I have seen threads full of angry people - which is case of trouble of an exchange typically pop up everywhere in no time.

Maybe You haven't been around much. Bittrex has been falling short of Glory in recent time. It's no longer the bittrex that took over from Poloniex some months back. Now there's an high influx of locked accounts, reduced withdrawal limits for basic account users (~previously 2BTC, now 0.4btc). On top of that, There's consistent wallet issues with several coins/tokens listed there.
