Since scalability is a big issue at Bitcoin and other high frequent used coins, I wonder how well Byteball's scalability is? So far, there has not been a situation in the Byteball network that really came under stress. Are there any examinations and stress tests by Byteball? What is the theoretical scalability position of Byteball's creator(s)?

I think the scalability has been discussed in the white paper.

Here is your link to receive 0.001 GB: https://byteball.org/openapp.html#textcoin?wait-surprise-lecture-accident-script-endorse-floor-magic-dream-attend-cabin-hold------------------------------------------------------ Isn't it more effective to post this under your posts outside the Byteball thread? Here everybody knows it already! I'm not sure if it would be considered spam though. On a side note: would it technically be possible to send Blackbytes in the same way? I know it's a bit complicated, the 12 words would need some Bytes for the fee too, but it would be a great way to use very anonymous Blackbytes if they can be sent by text-message! I guess I could just post at the top of each of my posts. I don't know how it could be considered spam since I give them away with each of my legit posts. OH, you mean a post just to do give away bytes. Yeah, I think it would be spammy and I would rather keep my posts with content. So, I will move my giveaways at the top of my posts, because some people thought I was trying to give that specific person the bytes. heh. I don't see how a person would be giving away blackbytes since they are private. I guess I could do a bot in which you would need to pair first and then a code to get the blackbytes. That's beyond my skills. I will stick to wallet recovery. Actually, yes, it is. (You may contact me directly.) What?! How can you restore wallet addresses without both the database and the private key (aka the wallet seed). This would be a security issue. Recovered. eMailed a complete wallet back to him. Yup, I got all my byteballs back. There was no blackbytes on my wallet, so I received all I had. Thank you, Michail1. You're welcome. Glad it worked out for you. It was a nice wallet to have. PS. Make backups!

Actually, what I meant is other normal posts with normal content, like this one for example. Adding a link to Byteball there would be offtopic for sure, but it's much better promotion than inside this thread. I just claimed your 1MBYTE (I can't resist it!), but this doesn't help promoting Byteball at all, because everybody in this thread uses it already. Or maybe it does help promote Byteball, as you have to open your wallet to receive it. Either way, giving it back with this post

Where is the 1 year old party?
Just a few hours left, anyone else still here from last year, say hi!
From genesis to textcoin and cashback, what a story.

Frankly, cannot get it. How did you manage that? I thought Byteball net allows to transfer Gbytes only. I think he just means he converted btc to gbyte to transfer between exchanges and then convert back to btc

Some free, tangential advertising for Byteball. There is a sponsored article on Coinidol. talking about the high transaction fees in Bitcoin, and how the DAG model is more suitable for scalability. The article is primarily to promote IOTA, but Byteball gets a passing mention. https://coinidol.com/bitcoin-fees-increase-to-over-50/

How many users are in the BYTEBALL database now, if we proceed from this message: "The remaining 1% will be given away to the first 100m users who install Byteball wallet, 100 Kbytes to each user"? After all, we can already sum up the existence of this product. Merry Christmas, cryptoworld!

It's $0.06 per wallet at current price. I don't know how Tony plans to do this, but I expect many people to start farming many wallets if there's no restriction. I alone already have at least 7 different wallets (most used for testing), and this was without trying to farm 100 kbyte. what are this text coins? none of them work for me
Text coins make it possible to send coins by email/Whatsapp/anything. If they're posted in public, it's first come first serve. So someone else used them. I'll PM you some.
