Is it fair to say that blackbytes are byteballs + privacy? If this is the case why are blackbytes not worth more?
this is a really good question. i was thinking about the same. maybe just because it is too "complicated" to use them and you can't just buy them at polo, trex or what ever. And also because they can't be traded on regular exchanges by design. Either way their value is quite good and they might be worth more in the future when their distribution is over. I don't think they could go higher than regular GBYTE because their number is much higher compared to bytes

IMO they are severely undervalued.

i think they're doomed to remain forever a curio unless there's an easier way of handling and buying and selling them. future users will not be crypto purists. they're looking for ease and utility. they'll go straight for other options that offer them that even if it's detrimental to the actual purpose.

If you order your pizza through Byteball's chat, you can pay for it with just a click. Now imagine this being implemented on a nice website, a GUI to order your pizza, and when you're done it opens the link in your wallet. It doesn't get much easier than that, all you need is the wallet.

Don't get it, if you have already aquired GB to your wallet it is an extremely simple procedure to buy some GBB.

Why traders don't like byteball? Daily volume is x10 lower than near positions.

I think the real obstacle for BlackBytes is that the way you need to back up your wallet every time you send or receive BlackBytes most people would want something much simpler where there is not back up required, not sure if it can programmatically changed in the future so not back up required when sending or receiving BlackBytes ,Tonych is a talented Dev i am sure there must something can be done about it

so that's one extra step above just buying some other anon coin and sending it. you have to sync with another wallet to send it. you have to back it up constantly. you need to be pruning the steps you need to use something to get people on board, not adding them. dumb? yup. but most people are dumb when it comes to tech.

In the last quarter so many new people in crypto space. And all those people get aware of byteball because of the free airdrop in march. More and more people will realise that the allts nonsense will not last forever and they will also start to invest some of their money in good projects. And in good projects there is not much choice. All those coins have only promises, byteball have working products. More and more business will start to accept byteball because of the cash back program. I am sure 2018 is the year of byteball

That's true but ByteBall still need few more things before it mature enough real ByteBall will start when it's decentralized and at least 95 of the coins are distributed as for now it's still about 40% of the coins are in the the hands of Dev.

I think a few more exchanges will help with adoption too, Bittrex is a good one don't get me wrong, Binance, Kucoin, ShapeShift would be great additions.
They were on Changelly but they were delisted, I see they have delisted several other coins too... So not sure what's going on with them.
i guess better get away from Changelly,i wouldn't get near Changelly or any other related companies like Nicehash,i am sure you heard about the Nicehash hack, they stupid enough not even to require Email verification for their users that make it very easy for hackers,Nicehash-Changelly a big not for me

Thank you, dude, for your reply. I will follow this and do the research by myself. Looks the develop direction is forward. I am confident about the success of Byteball.

Does that mean the new distribution method will switch to those responsible for marketing / sponsoring, and eventually exclude everyone else?

Does that mean the new distribution method will switch to those responsible for marketing / sponsoring, and eventually exclude everyone else? Nothing has been finalized yet. Tony will make an announcement soon on this. But yes, the focus will no longer be on the airdrop because it is an expensive way to bring new users to Byteball.
