Hello. We are the creators of the unofficial fund Byteball. You can read about our work and our purposes here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2664152https://bytesfund.comAnd add our bot to the contact list: A19AjPn9dmrZ4GdditPcJ4QkLqicUcPeQFmGMN53loQ9@byteball.org/bb#0000 We will create a wallet 3 out of 4 multisig escrow with trusted persons of Byteball. LoyceV agreed to be a one of the four multisig escrow keepers. We need two more people, to enhance the security of funds and start working. At the moment wallet's address is solely in our possession, but as soon as there will be people that are ready to cooperate, a new wallet will be created and all collected funds will be transferred to it. We propose to choose these people to the community. Anyone can join our project and to control and to help in the distribute the funds. On condition that the community won't mind your assignment. As you know, 5% of received funds will be a reward for the work on the project. For the other 3 participants of multisig escrow, we can provide 1% of the fund's resources for their working which consists in finding reviewers, advertisers, shops for receiving Byteball and in checking the appropriateness of expenses. Or they can only check the appropriateness of expenditures without remuneration. We want as many people as possible know about Byteball. Express your desire, join us and make this a reality! We are all still waiting for you to publicly identify yourself so that this effort has credibility and the community can have confidence that there will be accountability.

Recently, Bittrex's Byteball wallet was under "automated maintainance". First, two day long. Then, it was open for half a day and I was able to withdraw some funds. And since then it is under "automated maintainance" again. Anybody has an idea what is going on?
I don't think there are special problems with Byteball there, the problems are general about bittrex..... If you still store funds on bittrex you should really read this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1954598.0Also this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2812600.0There are a lot of unhappy Bittrex users these days. I am was one of them. By extension I am was an unhappy (and unwilling) user of Netverify/Jumio, which seems very buggy. I have no complaints about Tonych's Byteball though. Edit - if you are finding problems submitting identity documents through Netverify/Jumio for either Byteball itself or for Bittrex, then you may find that using a webcam to take fresh photos is more effective than trying to upload existing photo files, even if the existing files have better quality images. I don't know the reasons, but my experience has been that Netverify/Jumio is buggy handling file uploads, but reliable when it handles live webcam images. Hope this helps someone out there! Oh, and to give Bittrex the benefit of the doubt, their support messages say that they have been swamped with new users, and that things will improve Real Soon Now (my paraphrase). Time will tell. Edit - update - I eventually got stuck with Bittrex's verification process and submitted a support ticket. Amazingly, I got a reply very quickly (on a Sunday) that resolved my issues.l will give Bittrex another chance as a result.

I assume that people expect to get Byteball news already from CCN, since that subscription/airdrop should be more just some free coins (which are, however, an interesting advertising). I mean that this subscription may be a bit too quick after the other one. However, I retweeted.

Tonych inteview part II by Rafael Badziag https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=1&v=7Fau1bg9-jgat 8'30'' "Since we have identity now, the ability to verify users, we can know build our own direct Gateway to fiat that is accepting Credit Card and giving Bytes in exchange directly without going throught Bitcoin exchange".Then there is more info. It looks that Tonych is aiming to build a Byteball Credit Card A credit card you would fill with Bytes and spend in fiat would be another major breakthrough. I encourage you to listen by yourself.

What it could be wrong with Cryptopia? Why their wallet is not broadcasting transactions since December? @tonych will they contacted you for help? This situation is getting a bit annoying. They don't even answer to tickets anymore
It is a know problem from an unknown cause. At all: never... NEVER... NEVER! leave your crypto at any exchange unless you are a dayly trader.Your coins feel much better on your local backuped wallet. Its almost certainly a wallet upgrade issue - when they upgraded from 1.7 to the current version (with an upgrade in between), it seems they didn't know they had to use an SSD for Syncing. (Just like me.) See this post on Reddit for more: https://www.reddit.com/r/ByteBall/comments/7pxko2/gbyte_down_on_cryptopia/I know, sadly, I know but sometimes one needs to use exchanges. My bad I did that at the wrong time. On the other hand, my personal light wallet is safe, I have a full backup and I plan not to do anything with my GBYTE before the March Airdrop. I do hope Cryptopia will solve the issue before then!

Maybe they do internally marginal trading, who knows. In order to withdraw your capital you need to sell Gbytes and withdraw bitcoin or other crypto. This coin is not well diversify in term of exchages, so manipulate it is very easy. We are in stage of accumulation time. This is Blockchain 3.0. = Byteball

Bittrex aren't going to give a single fuck about one coin. Exchanges accumulate so much money they would rather keep their reputation high.

@tonych I have been praising the identity verification program and have already referred about 8 new users. However, the Jumio press release states that a biometric is supposed to be used in which the user must follow an on-screen dot with their eyes: Secondly, Jumio’s Face Match technology asks the user to submit a live selfie, following an on-screen icon with their eyes as it moves in a random pattern. This dual-layer of security, bolstered by artificial intelligence, machine learning, and human identity experts, ensures that the user’s selfie matches the photo on their ID document, and that they are physically present at the point of verification. Is this feature coming? It seems to require deep integration with the host app, which should provide a better user experience in addition to higher quality verifications (and more safety for the distribution fun). I'm somewhat concerned that someone with a database of ID's and photos could game the referral system.

Byteball is definetely the coin of the future, istant and private. Maybe just fees could be lower or not present (as RaiBlocks). I think the only thing taking it back and discouraging investor is that a single coin costs too much. I know supply is low but newcomers tend to watch at coin price despite supply.

Fees are required by the network they inherently give the coin value. A byte allows for storage and transaction on the network which is a key part of the overall networks value.

The price for Byteball has reached its previous value in dollars for the month of July. But as observations show, some projects return to their peak prices in Btc. This is about 0.35 Btc per Byteball. Perhaps we will see this price, the question is only when.

For what it's worth, I just tried participating in the airdrop for BTC owners.
What a pile of crap.... 1. tried installing the wallet twice on my Windows 7. All I get is an app window that stays blank. So the wallet does not work, there is ZERO system requirement on the website. Besides, installer is pretty lengthy & installs a big lot of crap, for an app that is (most likely, guessing by what it installs) a browser in a window, running javascript crap. As a programmer I wouldn't trust that.
2. gave a chance to the phone app, even though I normally don't trust my phone for anything serious. Had to type in my lengthy BTC address, because of course the chat won't read QR codes (what was I expecting?) only to be replied that signing messages wouldn't work with segwit addresses.
Bah.... I mean I don't care for the airdrop, from what I read you'd get 0.1GB for every 16 BTC, that's not even worth the tx fees. But you guys trust this? Poor coding, & anti-segwit?
(not saying the coin won't do well, it doesn't need to be good or even working for that)
Airdrop to bitcoin holders is not really worth it now and it will probably removed it used to be good but not anymore, we still didn't hear a solid confirmation from the Dev about the next airdrop, linking a Segwit wallet is not possible this has nothing to do with Byteball it's something to do with Bitcoin as you can't sign a message from a Segwit wallet You are one year late for getting the best out of the BTC airdrop - people who got the first airdrop 13 months ago have made a real pile of money for free. Not the BTC airdrop makes no sense any more.
