exchange got hacked and 500mio xem are stolen, XEM -13,5% .... BitConnect is Scam, BCC -6% ... Byteball all ok, GBYTE -15% ... such a bullshit, no words!
that's because price is in Gbytes... That means visual high price >> so low trading volume >> empty order books >> high volatility >> scares off other potential investors etc.... This should really be priced in Mbytes..... more people will step in >>> order books get filled >> more volume >> more exchanges >> more potential investors This indeed is one of the most silly things I have ever seen and makes me wonder bout the sanity of all these so called investors who wander around the crypto space. This is the lever of the population of cryptoland. They don't think. The react at prices without even looking at supply and/or what the hell they are buying. A quite scary environment for any serious investor... The question is if Byteball should cynically exploit that and switching to Megabytes on exchanges and CMC or just not caring at all, thus selecting an user base of better quality.

This is a sponsored article, yet again. The only press that Byteball seems to be getting is sponsored stuff these days. Tony has made his views very clear on this. He is not going to try and switch the unit, just because a lot of newbie investors might start investing in Byteball. There may be a lot of gullible investors in the crypto world, but we shouldn't be taking advantage of them.

If we not aggressive then we lost against other coins, we are in a free market and there not win the smartest projects but the ones with the loudest marketing and the biggest investors. the mass of people are stupid, that has always been so. Never try to re-educate your customers and there is no price for the fairness project. these are my experiences of the last 20 years. the newsletter from cryptocoin was good, thx

I'm fairly new to hearing about Byteball but it looks like a great project that seems to be actively developed.
I can definitely see the advantages of not having to carry a hefty blockchain and really like the usability of the textcoins and conditional payment.
I am curious about the discussion on smaller units though. A lot of crypto transactions are made in fractions of a coin, so I can't see that as being a real impediment. What would be the real advantage be for swapping to a smaller unit? Actually curious, not trying to bait, because Byteball does have the inbuilt scaling units and it could be an applicable strategy.

You guys remember the way superior tech BetaMax? It all comes to momentum and with that adoption of the masses... I'm really afraid we will loose a very good and usable idea/product if it stays priced likes this..... I know Tony doesn't want this to be changed for honourable reasons but that would be the same choice Betamax made, by neglecting the porn industry......

Dead wrong. When it comes to tech, someone has to educate the masses and so far Byteball is doing it best. Just wait.

Latest version looks really very good with displaying value of the balance in USD as well. I was playing with different bots after adding them. It is getting more and more better with textcoin sending feature. I will make few transaction later as well to see how it works in reality. First impression is awesome.

Recently, Bittrex's Byteball wallet was under "automated maintainance". First, two day long. Then, it was open for half a day and I was able to withdraw some funds. And since then it is under "automated maintainance" again. Anybody has an idea what is going on?

No, you cant mine it. It was distributed to bitcoin holders in the first round, later to bitcoin and byteball holders. Now we have another method of distributions, but you cant mine

I had some bytes in my wallet and wanted to use its auto-exchange feature. I sent the coins to the address bot gave me but received no bitcoins in return. Bot said the amount i sent was too low. R.i.p 30$ . Maybe it was my fault, maybe not.
Uninstalled. Never wishing to deal with this coin again.
