Distribution of bytes is complete, about 17,610 GB distributed, which is worth around $1m at the current price.

Distribution of blackbytes is still under way, it'll take much longer.

I did not receive my Byteball coins. I sent 0.4BTC to the address the transaction bot told me to and it told me my payment was received. I logged into the app now and I still have 0 Bytes in my wallet?

did u check the bb↔btc linkin' on http://transition.byteball.org/?

http://transition.byteball.org/ shows I have a 0 BTC balance sent. I have proof of the transaction on my Jaxx wallet though. The transaction bought told me to send btc to specific address. I sent the btc and it later told me it received the coins and that I have a 0.3985 balance on my account.

it's not so simple as you imply, just look at ur btc address on https://blockchain.info/: what does it show?

there may be difference between ur btc address balance and blockchain.info due to the peculiarities of btc wallet.

so this is the answer: within ur wallet btc could be held on many addreses even if u observe the balance of some single address.

just check the blockchain.info to avoid such situations.

ur welcome.

there is no need of any tips. )

in the case of core btc wallet problem can be solved by creating new btc address and movin all ur balance to it.
after these steps u need just sign message (or sell some small amount) to link btc↔bb.

try to do the similar steps.
of course in such case u spend btc transaction fee.

You didn't have to send all your BTC to the bot omg. He was requested a small payment a few satoshis just to confirm that the address was yours. Ask tonych. If don't have access to the BTC address you did then the coin though, you just loose 0.4 BTC.

It is like in the first round of Byteball distribution. Price dumped to under 0.01 BTC/GByte (guess the lowest price was around 0.0083 BTC). After the low there was a rallye up to 0.11 BTC within few weeks. Price doubled more than 10 times. I guess same holds here again and will hold all the next distribution rounds. But experience shows, the volatility decreases from round to round .

Anybody that expected people to hold their free byteballs was delusional.

There is always a wave of dumping after any free handout.. Price will correct, just wait a few days.

You probably didn't Smiley. The bot never told anyone who wanted to link to send all their BTC to a given address, it only asked for a micropyament. Anyway, you should contact tonych and explain what happened, I think he will gladly return your BTC.
