We are now experiencing the efficient, fast and amazing convergence of technologies which one way or the other greatly contributing to the rise of the cryptocurrencies and making Bitcoin as the King of the Hill so far.

Looking into the future...what do you think will be the scenario involving Bitcoin twenty years from now? Will Bitcoin be worth more than a million or will it ceased to exist? Or will a new crytocurrency replace the supremacy of Bitcoin...?

If many countries continues to ban and reject bitcoin, the future for bitcoin will be bad.Because it will affect the way and on how the bitcoin users see bitcoin. But if bitcoin establish and creates a good communication with these country, bitcoins future 20 years from now, bitcoins future will be better and still alive.

I think bitcoin is still in use for the next 20 years and its price is also higher than it is now and it is very likely that countries will also accept bitcoin as a currency used in payments.

I think bitcoin will still exist and will not be in a halt. The only problem bitcoin has is the price, it is the only thing that I couldn't imagine what would happen in 20 years. It may grow into an equivalent of a million dollars or stay the same or even gets lower. In my opinion, there won't be a new cryptocurrency to replace bitcoin because it is the most popular one and almost every crypto are linked to, as far as I know.

I hope and believe that bitcoin will survive in 20 years, maybe the price will stop changing so quickly and it will become more stable...and sometimes I'm visited by the thought that it will disappear...I hope that these thoughts are incorrect

I wouldn`t be surprised if in 20 years BTC will reach 1 million, or maybe disappear at all. By that I mean that BTC is highly unpredictable and making forecasts would be just guessing.

Many people are now entering the cryptocurrency world because of the bitcoin, there are now also people who are adapting and using bitcoin. I predict that most of the people 20 years from now are using now bitcoins in their daily lives.

maybe Bitcoin 20 Years From Now has a lot to do before you can get out and choose that you need your payment bitcoin and the bitcoin price is maybe at 30,000 per 1 Bitcoin and not just that it will end its height and hopefully all countries will no longer be banned from bitcoin.And everyone in maybe over around the world knows that bitcoin and what the tag is there.

I've been thinking about the same thing for quite a long time.
What will happen in the future? Will bitcoin stay, and still alive? Will the price still increases, and popular? Can i really hope on bitcoin for my future?
I don't know but somewhat i think that there will be something that can make bitcoin disappear, or at least not valuable again.
But i really hope it won't happen, and bitcoin will be even more valuable in the future and maybe help us from poverty.

If the prediction of snachat's first investor happen, then we will be seeing bitcoin price at more than $500k.  Exponential adoption, this will push the price fast and  deflationary features will even move the price higher.  Added with hype, venture legalization using bitcoins.  I only see Bitcoin having more than 20x value than what is right now after 20 years.

Bitcoin 20 years from now is still popular currency. We see bitcoin everyday is become more stable. So its possible that bitcoin will become the currency of all country. We hoping that most of people already invested. The price of bitcoin is continue to increase. But we cannot predict it, i think all country will legalize bitcoin.

In 20 years Bitcoin name can stay same, but implementation will be completely different:
1) transactions and servers should be thousands times faster,
2) sub-coins should appear, may be one of BTC forks could be a sub-coin, because it's hard to imagine people paying 0.0000001 BTC for a coffee  
3) most probably that few major altcoins will take place to counterbalance BTC, similar way that EUR and CNY oppose USD nowadays.

well to look into the future after that 20 long years, In my own opinion BItcoin will cease to Exist because there will be a big chance that its value will drastically fall due to the fully consumed btc in mining. the value will sky rocket at first but in time in circulation its value will go down, but nonetheless A new Cryptocurrency will emerge dominating BTC.

Yes, we are not a predictors or a fortune teller  that to know what will be the exact happening in 20 years from now. But for me it is enough or even too much to be bitcoin will legalized all over the world to convince what would be the advantages of bitcoin to be used in each country that transactions are completely anonymous and private. Unlike in payments through bank, where the transactions can be tracked and identified, bitcoin transactions cannot be identified.  A person can only know the addresses of bitcoins on which the payment has been sent and received. But  to whom these addresses belong cannot be identified.

sometimes several possibilities will occur. whether it's good or bad. but our hopes all bitcoin will still grow and more expensive in each year. because we all know how easy to transact with bitcoin. even jobs that generate bitcoin income

In one year bitcoin was able to go 10X higher than its original price so I'm sure in 20 years from now bitcoin would be moving around 100K rates definitely. It is enough time plus it will able to get into everyone's mind with no time and thanks to Mr Nakomoto for creating it in decentralised way as that will be the factor which will make it easier to happen.

Also, now I'm sure about the bitcoin and reaching that heights because of one more thing and thats "not much people are into it" really. So there is still huge room for bitcoin to grow big and it will for sure. Just imagine how people started to get into it after knowing the spikes it had recently.

Apart from this if NY stock exchanges are going to list it as commodity in their exchanger then I'm sure this will change the face of bitcoin.

In 20 year from now, I see Bitcoin ruling over world economy, I see bitcoin as the reserve for central banks with gold, and being used as an universal currency.
