What precisely do you mean by lead time?
The time it will take for a new order to reach the consumer. Is October still a reasonable estimate for lead time on all KnCMiner products?
We have yet to hear otherwise Ok thanks. They are still taking preorders with those dates, so I suppose they know what they are doing. Just hard to imagine that is a possibility  |

Markus is some kind of Genius. I'm totally impressed, even without seeing it. This just keeps getting better and better. Thanks Bitcoinorama for sharing that.
It's not just Marcus! He has a team, I was told off before about this!!  Of course, lol.... OK, here's a question ... We know they are "scale-able" and such... looking at the newest drawings, one could easily see the same case & linux device going in/on every unit, and the number of pcb+chip modules determining the hashrate. So, the question is... Will it be the same case, and allow us to buy working pcb+chip expansion modules for the Mercury & Saturns, enabling us essentially to be able to turn them all into Jupiters? That would make me do back-flips right here in my living-room! |

I bet 0.5 BTC it's yes Having seen the recent drawings, that thought occurred to myself, but then they would require customers to have the basics of IT skill, I'm not 100% customer service and after sale aggro wise that's what they intend to offer. It would allow customers to scale themselves regardless of financial standing that way though... |

I need to bone up on my linux. I don't know anything about it. Can a GUI be installed like Ubuntu or is it all prompts? (probably don't know what I'm talking about)
Windows has made me soft. Although I used to be pretty good at DOS back in the day. lol

how are they going to have access to 28nm chips when the rest of the companies can barely get ahold of 65nm?
i do not understand how they are going to get a hold of 28nm at the same rate as Apple IBM etc.

So, with that in mind, don't you think they have established relationships with manufacturers? The knowledge to do a much simpler project than in the past?... Yes, simpler. They have one with over 140 clock domains....this has two. Nuff said? |
