Absolutely. Had never done that before, also labels are meant to be; one on each side. ... packing the sodding boxes and keep you lot updated.
They sure let you start at the bottom. At least the only way is up from now Wink

Pfff please. No one is making me do this. As I said, I'm competitive and I'm not about to stand around with my hands in my pockets.

Absolutely. Had never done that before, also labels are meant to be; one on each side. Also have had no sleep and been stuck in this facility for three days whilst my clothing holidays in the hotel. On top of which I'm still reading negative crap and whinging for updates, whilst I personally multitask, packing the sodding boxes and keep you lot updated.

But...it appears I'm getting better at least...

Awesome!  Very exciting indeed.

Can you speak to the plans re: the hosted hardware?  If you guys are stuck in that facility, will the shipments be going out before the hosted units get setup in the data center?

Yo! Looks like orders are actually going out today.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bDdcZtdBL2M

I would also like to be leaving here today! Wink

"...and there's a worthwhile reason for pulling an allnighter. Wink"
Curious about that Smiley

I will say that the guy in that video packaging that miner hasnt packaged a lot yet. Im sure he will get better at it in the coming week Smiley

Yeah, I realized that as well. The person acted clumsy, as he never had did that before. Notice that there is one part of the box which says "THIS SIDE UP". The person could not figure out how to leave that part visible when closing the box. By the way, I noticed something out of usual coming from the metal case:

http://.png

What could be that? Perhaps a power connector?

Nice to see I made the correct call making sure we had a truck on standby and not sedans to go and pick these up. Holding my fingers they don't release pickups at rush hour.

So that person is you?

 Grin

Well, I am sincerely sorry for you. I know how hard is to work without proper periods of sleeping. Can you at least have eventual naps at some lost couch in the facility?

I really wish you are going to be well compensated by this effort you put yourself in.

I think KnCminer should be employing you to be their PR person. I already called you a shill because you advocate their business more than necessary. However, now that you are really working for them, I find strange they instructed you to package boxes.

Talk and write a lot. That is your best skill. That is what you should be doing for them.

What's up with the first line of the coindesk article lying so badly?
http://www.coindesk.com/kncminer-begins-shipping-jupiter-bitcoin-mining-rigs/
Finished? Yeah, right.
Can I now expect all 3 Saturns to ship same day then?... lol
"KnCMiner has finished production of its Jupiter bitcoin mining rigs and has started shipping to customers"
Finished production obviously wrong

I'm not saying that it's better than any other pools type.
You specifically asked about what are the difference between p2pool and centralized pool like btcguild.
I merely listed those differences.
as simple as that.
Sorry, I wasn't trying to be a dick. Just wanted to know why it wasn't more popular if it's resilient to ddos attacks. You did answer my initial question, so thanks for that.

I think main problem of that is because p2pool node needs basic knowledge to setup (but there is public nodes !!!)
and PPLNS systems - many newbies to p2pool hate that they don't get reward instant after start mining
Gotcha. A bit harder to set up, so probably less popular for that reason.

Also P2pool are notorious for viruses....
Ah, that's interesting. I knew there had to be a downside. I'm gonna give it a quick google, thanks

Edit: Did a google, didn't find much about viruses & p2pool

Also P2pool are notorious for viruses....
This is nonsense. p2p file sharing networks are. p2pool is not.

i used p2p only for alt-coins sometimes and they looked like being corrupted and payouts were to small in the longrun.

are those p2p for btc legit? any known payout issues or is it just harder to setup? and no merged mining i guess?

Merged mining is a big reason to use p2pool. It is really really simple to do merged mining with it, in fact I think it is the easiest way to do your own merged mining at home. You can pick which coins you want to merge, so you can get all the coins the public pools leave out.

Also the real p2pool has always been fine, no virus or trojan yet from there. I would not be surprised if lots of the clonecoin versions people keep hacking up have all kinds of problems, could have wallet-stealers or anything. If you want good safe code wait for the people who are adapting it for various altcoins to get their pulls accepted into the mainline repo, that way you can be reasonably sure their code actually made sense enough to include into the mainstream distribution.

I should have been more specific ..Trojans.

I might be wrong as do not have any experience in p2p but have chatted with people who were using p2p in alt coins and a lot of them decided to get out of it due to security issues. May be its just alt coins or may be it was just them dont know.

I would listen to Mark and wait .....
