Day 1 #189 Hosted Paid (edit 3:46pm) June 3..... Nothing

Day 1 #5# Hosted and also nothing.
Did someone got any hosting info during yesterday and they told in the news?

Not that I've seen.  Their news post stated that some would be receiving an email 'today'.  I'm guessing if you didn't then nobody did.

I dont get that one - they stated in their news yesterday data center is up and running fine now!?

How many days passed between receiving your tracking number and arriving Friday?

48 hours

damn i'm in Minnesota so can't complain if it is that quick for me when the time arrives ..encouraged

Oh, btw.  When I received my tracking number it only took two business days before it was delivered to me in California.

Yikes... you know what your electricity bill is gonna look like, right?

DID ANYONE RECEIVE KNC UNITS TODAY? AND IF SO, ORDER #/PAY DATE PLEASE??

trying to gauge more or less where knc is at as far as shipping queue/order #/pay date?? thanks.

refer you to here

http://forum.kncminer.com/forum/off-topic/miners-cafe/5386-shipping-log

Thread titled "Shipping Log". First post asks "If you would please post your order number and status (if shipped/hosted)."

And then people go on to post a bunch of "Paid" status orders... Come the fuck on.

And unfortunately, it looks like KNC's shipping queue/order #'s for shipping are all over the place.

And 'in progress' just now seems like a delay tactic....I have now been 'in progress' for 24 hrs and no shipping info. Maybe later today??

I appreciate that, it's just that I thought it was kind of dumb of people to post other things when OP asked for orders that have actually shipped.

And the reason there ain't much activity on KnC's forums may be because registration is still down.

Mine was "In Progress" for 3 days before shipping friday. (Expected delivery today)

it seems that new subscription didn't work for the last few days. knc is aware of the problem but they have other high prio tasks to do before fixing it.

imho knc forum is quite unusable. it's slow as hell. it came handy while btctalk went down, thou.

I'm in Minnesota they say the rate kwh is 8.6c per kwh but when you add the taxes and fees etc it comes out to .15/kwh..now the elec company said I could get commercial rates in the house....they do a free audit..check the equip for watts x24/7 should not be a problem...they say the commercial fees are more but they figure I could save 3c of more per kwh..so what the heck will see how it goes....

but again ....take your whole bill and divide by your monthly kwh use....

I'll let folks on here know if/when/or how much..if any  I save by this energy audit for a commercial rate

so pretty much a no brainer.. at least to check it out

Why would his PSU "die" when yours wouldn't? I have a PSU in every company, and that qualifies me as the expert. You cannot just say something will die maybe unless you have proof. Again, I have every PSU ever made.

Yes, sir Smiley
Proud day2 owner reports: order received this morning and is meanwhile up&running.
The whole scene from UPS ringing the bell until now still feels like a dream...hopefully it is real!  Wink

order number was <300, paydate early june,
based on pre-preorder from may

0.91 firmware, flashed to 0.93
cgminer restarts quite a lot, but hashrate is 500+ avg

Packet damaged from the outside, inside is fine.
One fan was loose, clipping it back on was easy (make sure you have a torx screw-driver present to be able to open the miner's case!!!)

btw:
had trouble with the config - wanted to add to /config/cgminer.conf another pool, but after restart cgminer complaint about no pool;
double-checked the JSON everything was fine.
So I removed the config completely and restarted cgminer. Then connected to it via ssh/screen and put in another pool through cgminer directly and wrote it to file on disk.
I hope it's still present after a reboot, not tested yet.

Hello,

I spoke with KnC on the phone again (!) about the hosting.
All DAY1 customers with hosting should have their miner up and running in the hosting center by today (Tuesday).
They will receive an e-mail with the access informations.

I assume this will be just the web-interface. So I already sent them an e-mail yesterday requesting 2 external
pools to be configured (which can only be done via ssh access inside of cgminer).
I don't believe this will be done without a further call, but let's hope for the best.

I cannot enter in the "mining" tab from the webui in one of my miners after I manually set up a failover pool in cgminer - everything worked fine until I added a new pool, removed the previous one, and added a third - now when I click on the "mining" tab on the webui I get a blank, white page.

Obvious SSHing the box and configuring cgminer directly still works.

This happened only in ONE miner, the rest are working fine despite of adding a failover pool - nevertheless, for those miners I just added a new pool and enabled failover, on the contrary on the "faulty" miner I did and undid a few changes in the "pool management" in cgminer.

Anyone with the same problem?
