That's true, there's really nothing to be ashamed, it's made for entertainment/profit making machine (lol). If you really want to be happy with gambling, just be chill and take control of your life and not be ashamed of it if you are not doing anything wrong.

I do gamble for fun and with bank roll that is predicted to gambling. There is no space to be embarrassed or shamed. It is not addiction; I don't loan and get into debt, so it's totally unharmful.

No need to be shameful when your family is not affected when you are playing. But be ashamed of yourself when you are able to use others money and you became addicted to gambling. No reasons to be shameful being gambler as long as you are a good person and gambling is your passion of recreational activity that makes us happy. One situation that makes a gambler shameful is when you steal money for your betting investments, that's really a worst scenario and it's a crime with an unrighteous act of a person who doesn't value dignity. If you are a responsible gambler you should work and have a job in order to finance your leisure time and couldn't bother other persons finances.

But the opposite happens if we win a ton of money from it. Quite weird to be honest. In my case I never liked telling anyone that I gamble. I feel like it creates a sense of distrust among the people we know at certain situations and all. Etc; asking for money at troublesome times. They might feel we are just asking for money to gamble or so.

in fact no one want to lose money or that his family member become addicted to gambling and play gambling in such a way to lose all his wealth and ruin his life, i think in most of the societies it is really shameful that if a member of a family remain as badly addicted to gambling and lost everything, it is really petty for all family. i think we should play gambling with some good planing and if we do not have any planning then we will certainly lost money in gambling.
