Why some people prefer Bitcoin over fiat ?

If you can find a vendor who accepts Bitcoin, it's easier to pay with it than fiat. It'll take longer for you convert bitcoin to fiat (plus fees). If everyone accepted bitcoin, I wouldn't mind using it over fiat.

These are not the only field BTC is used in, as BTC is now widely used in almost any market (from gold bullions to buying refreshments in local stores), BTC is good for porn, gambling for it's private nature, since people find these embarrassing most of the time. Bitcoin is free to use for all communities, but I think it's better to stay away from the negative, many positive things we can do with bitcoin rather than fiat. in fact bitcoin is the need of the day. in such modern time people feel hard to find time, and go to Banks withdraw their money then visit a shop and then use for shopping, bitcoin has made it very easy. you can visit any online shop, can buy anything and can pay in bitcoin without changing bitcoin in to local currency, and even you can get the product at your door step, those people who know and understand the importance of bitcoin so their fist choice s bitcoin.

Some of these fields are illegalized in places, but the main reason I think is the privacy,
Meaning nobody wants to have a credit card statement showing you paying to a porn website, and your friends/spouse seeing it, it is natural and legal, but people prefer privacy in these aspects i think.

Unfortunately,nothing could be done in this matter.Just like US dollars,bitcoin is free to use.No one can control any one using bitcoin for wrong actions.Already,criticizers of bitcoin make regular allegations that bitcoin is used for illegal activities.But bitcoin has successfully overcome such allegations and it has got world wide investors,not using it for illegal activities but for trading,buying online goods,etc.The time has come to use such a marvellous technological creation bitcoin in a productive way.

Probably for the same reason we users are here browsing bitcointalk.org, for it being an anonymous, decentralized open and transparent market, getting priced with demand and offer and hence has a volatile nature, suitable for use as a currency and to be traded against USD to generate profit.
These are all factors differentiating it from Fiat, which don't have none of those criteria.

We more prefer to use bitcoin because bitcoin is more likely has a great value, and we can earn it anonymously without the knowing of other people. It is free for all, there will be no limits and there will be no restriction on the people that are using it. I understand your plight mate, but we should understand that even before bitcoin, people have been using fiat to acheive all these. The arrival of bitcoin is just a speedy way for them and it isn't something that can be avoided and it wasn't bitcoin that gave birth to them. So it is not good for us to always attribute bitcoin to negativity when we should concentrate more on its positive attributes.

Well there will always be people who will (ab)use anything that has value for a less ethical purposes. Saying bitcoin shouldn't be used for porn, drugs ... is an utoptia because it will never happen. Anyone who owns bitcoin can spend it however they like and there's nothing you can do about it. There are many opportunities in bitcoin and that is a good side income apart from your regular fiat money income generation. The volatility of bitcoin prices gives fortune to many and of course, it also have other people losing money out of it. I dont go with your thing which seems illegal i can say some genuine way of getting bitcoin instead of fiat currency is travellers can spend and take money overseas where bitcoin ATM and bitcoin transaction accepting.Sending money 24/7 without bother about timings and holidays.

I have read that several underground transactions involve bitcoin. So perhaps some preferred bitcoin over fiat because of its anonymity. Highly concealed transactions involving drugs, arms, assassination, and the like use bitcoin as a form of payment. Especially in the deep web, a large amount of bitcoin is changing hands. And as far as I know, 96% of what's going on in the web are in the deep web. What we can access through the famous browsers are only the surface.

What can we do, people who use bitcoin has their own freedom to use it in anyway they want to, everything can be used not just for their purpose just like Bitcoin it can be used for good or bad as long as it is your own, I prefer bitcoin over fiat for it is anonymous, but i still wouldn't use bitcoin for that reason.
