What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017?

As we enter 2017, Bitcoin begins with a fresh start making it worth nearly $1000 per coin. Users, banks, and even governments are becoming more interested into Bitcoin, and its underlying technology called the Blockchain.

Now, as we progress into making Bitcoin more scalable and efficient than ever, I would like to know what are your thoughts for the pioneer cryptocurrency in 2017?

If all goes well for Bitcoin this year, it might increase its value more than $1000, as well as become closer to being used as a mainstream currency. What do you think? 

As I entered 2017 it was a very good to me, I mean the great door of heaven opened to me for the blessing that I received from bitcoin. It was so amazing with this things I earned more than a capacity wage of ordinary employee now in my country. The price value of bitcoin was also amazing it gave's me more profit in my daily life. it clearly happens that it will become 2000$ by this year or next year.

I agree, finally looks like a nice and slow, steady grow. I think many (read China) tried to push the price down below $1000, but it pushes back up, they cant control it how they wanted to. New people coming on board, and I dont know many bitcoiners that gave up, so all looks rather good at this point.

I think even china can not push the price of bitcoin down, because bitcoin price increases occur normally, it is triggered by economic and political conditions such as the devaluation of the yuan, the currency war and geopolitical uncertainty. so in 2017 the price will continue to rise.

You can't consider that fact if the price can still be manipulated and believe it is true our only option now is to just wait for the right time when bitcoin will be more popular so the distribution will be widely circulated. The future is really great and we all believe on that but we cannot ascertain what will happen so we are only speculating now or betting for the future with our investment at hand.

i think it is now becoming more difficult to manipulate the price of bitcoin. the users of bitcoin are now spreading in all over the world and that is the reason that now it very much difficult to manipulate the price of bitcoin. i think that the up and down is only because of the increasing demand of the bitcoin users.

My prediction for this year is that at the end of this year or the beginning of the next bitcoin will finally touch the 2000 mark it will probably be a bubble but we will finally touch that desired price for a few days so I will be preparing for that day getting as much bitcoin as I can.

Yes I also agree with you, in fact it is not china to influence the price of bitcoin, they no longer can manipulate the price of bitcoin. The price of bitcoin effecting mostly by the increasing demand of bitcoin which is being hyped due to decreasing supply and so the price of bitcoin increases. The high prices attract more investors and the cycle repeats itself. I am expecting bitcoin prices to go beyond $5000 levels in 2017.

I do think as well that China had too much at stake with bitcoin and that is the reason why now it is growing so rapidly and with some stability now with it not going back and forth between $1000 on either side of the border.
It shows they had to much influence on the price and them having so much pull with it was very bad for it's natural growth and progression.
Now it looks like it can finally grow normally the way current events have evened out the playing field and can now go forward instead of being stunted and possibly growing deformed and ugly the way it was for so long with China's exchanges being powered by greed wanting to control each and every bit it could get.

Expecting such a big price increase is something which is not possible by this year. I expect the price to reach $2000 at least based upon the gradual increase without the intervention of any market statistics. As more chances were found to go beyond the quoted price depending upon the Sec and etf contradicts. Let's hope to experience the best.

History doesn't always repeat itself. Just because it went up and then went down quickly, doesn't mean it would happen again when the price has increased again. Because if it does, we will be stuck in an infinite loop of a market that goes up at a certain price and then goes down quickly right away. People would be raping that market if so.

The past is different from the present. Back then, people hyped bitcoins to $1200 and then realized it's actual worth so the price went down. There's not that much bitcoin users at that time. The price has become $1,100 again on January and the price went down to $760 because of the PBoC. But it's not going to happen again. They can't manipulate the market the same way they did before.

My thoughts are that the worth of the Bitcoin will keep on rising, more than it already is and that we maybe will see it above the 2000$ before the end of this year.

Yes. The beginning of this year has helped me too, in making a substantial amount of profit. Thanks to the price increase that Bitcoin has had, it has been making me more money than I've thought, by just holding it into my different wallets. If the cryptocurrency gains more traction among user acceptance, and innovation, it could spark up to higher prices than what it is right now.

Nevertheless, I have good faith in Bitcoin, and hope that by the end of the year it would become worth $1500 and above. In the case that Bitcoin lowers in value it would be the best time for you to invest into it, for massive rewards when it goes back up again. Just my opinion.

The first thing you will see in almost any website about investing is that previous results don't guarantee profits will be made in the future, it only proves there was profit in the past, so history does not need to repeat itself and we cannot use it to predict the future accurately.

I agree with you the future if bitcoin is very bright and if one can see the bitcoin currency value then he will come know the bitcoin success rate or I think in future it is most profitable online hub.
Its popularity can be judged from the number of user and I think in future it may be much more then numbering in million. I think it’s currency rate may even much greater worth than now.
