It's a not there yet aa mainstream currency but we've seen some progress into it, countries like japan gotten interested in bitcoin and decided to legalize it others like london created bitcoin ATM machine.
Philippines and africa has adopted it as well more people are using it this year bitcoin may soar with new highs.

Bitcoin in 2017 has given a big cake for owners, because bitcoin has broken previous record. Growing investor and limited supply pushed bitcoin prices up.
Agree. The price surge in 2017 has been a huge boost, especially for those who had invested into Bitcoin earlier. Since Bitcoin's price fall in 2013 when Mt. Gox was gone, until today Bitcoin has increased exponentially in price giving huge returns for those who were confident on it. As more people become interested into Bitcoin, the more popular and demanded it will become, making it reach new heights. That is why, it is safe to say that this year has been very bright for Bitcoin, and it would determine its long-term position soon. All that is left, is for Bitcoin to become scalable and it will be complete. Just sharing my thoughts.  And it's not the limit yet, Bitcoin is growing each new day and the price is surprising even the most optimistic investors. 2017 is being an awesome year for Bitcoin price, but not a so good year for Bitcoin functionality... Without some improvements in Blockchain the result can be inverse from what we are seeing now. I just fear people migrate to altcoins and split the power of Crypto-Currency. |

Users, banks, and even governments are becoming more interested into Bitcoin, and its underlying technology called the Blockchain. Now, as we progress into making Bitcoin more scalable and efficient than ever, I would like to know what are your thoughts for the pioneer cryptocurrency in 2017? If all goes well for Bitcoin this year, it might increase its value more than $1000, as well as become closer to being used as a mainstream currency. What do you think?  I think that this year (2017) bitcoin will continue its road versus true and fair legality and the increase of its value. While the second thing is become true day after day hope that even the first follow the second. Bitcoin is currency and must be legalized like such. Every other kind of legalization will be temporary and will vanish in time. in fact every one is expecting that this year he price of bitcoin is going to increase more and more. bitcoin is become more and more mature, actually people are now putting money in bitcoin for investment which is making bitcoin more reliable and stronger hope that in future bitcoin will become more and more stronger than its previous position because of the increasing number of the people. |

The price of bitcoin is getting higher and higher and even in coming days it can go much higher and if the same trend continues till the end of the year then we will definitely see the price of 2000 usd or even higher by then.
Indeed, everytime passes by bitcoin users are now increasing and at the same time the demand of bitcoin is increasing. Hence, it is not far to reach the price of 2000 usd per bitcoin or even higher than that. Yet, many investors are now putting their money into bitcoin to invest which help for bitcoin to became stronger. |

I'm a little worried about the price rally now, it's pumping so the moment it will dump it might cause disaster in the market. Of course the price will not go up if nothing happened, there is a lot of things that already happened and i think it is combination of news and hype for bitcoin because there is a lot of news that are keep coming out for bitcoin and also the hype of high price are getting involved by the big investors and the whales so the price is keep rising and soon we can see a 2000 USD price for bitcoin. |

I believe that there will be price reduction but there will be a lot of price increase and the reduction isn't going to affect bitcoin that much. And with the move of Japan and Russia of accepting bitcoin, there will be more countries that are going to accept bitcoin too. Together with the price of bitcoin, it's going to reach up to $2,000. |

I believe that there will be price reduction but there will be a lot of price increase and the reduction isn't going to affect bitcoin that much. And with the move of Japan and Russia of accepting bitcoin, there will be more countries that are going to accept bitcoin too. Together with the price of bitcoin, it's going to reach up to $2,000. Some people like to say that Bitcoin is going to go up to $3,000 this year, they may be correct though I am wondering if they have the strength to hold their coins and be able to sell their coins if it increases that high? Maybe I should begin holding my Bitcoin so I could try to get in on that action though I am not the type to not spend Bitcoin. I don't really care for the price that much. |

i think from the very beginning the price of bitcoin has the increasing trend, and hope that this trend of increasing the price of bitcoin will continue throughout the year. as the has already crossed 1500 USD level and it is expected that at the end of 2017 the price of bitcoin will trading above 2000 USD level. therefore i think it is still a very good opportunity to trade bitcoin and secure your position. |

you are right that this year proves very good for bitcoin because the price of bitcoin is increasing gradually and have broke all the previous record, as you quoted that its price will become more than 1500$ in this year but i am really sure that it will cross 2000$ at the end of this year because of the stability of bitcoin, and it will be very good for bitcoin. |

Let us hope that it will not be the same thing just like year. The first quarter for this year is really amazing, we saw on how the price did reached up to $1k before the year ends for 2016. And upon entering the first month, the price became stable at $1k and it went up again and it fall down up to $800 and right now we are on $1,500+ it's flying to the moon. Yes, the price is above $1500 and there are plenty of things happening in the development of the Bitcoin that makes it grow that easy in the year 2016. An economy like japan has recognized it. Though they have not termed it as money but the best things is that the world economies discussing the BTC and understand the affiliation of the citizens with the BTC. The prices even have to shoot more in the future. |

yes no doubt that it is difficult to predict about the price of bitcoin, as most of the people were thinking about the price of bitcoin that it will cross 1300 USD level and then the market will take correction but we can see that price is even trading above 1500 USD level and still gong to increase. |
